Good afternoon,
I know this is the wrong forum for this post but they wont let me post in the correct form due to post count. I have searched and searched the form for an answer to this without any luck so I thought I should go a head a make the post. I have a NIB LG G6 US997 that I am using on AT&T. Everything works well except it will not allow me to install AT&T Visual Voicemail, AT&T Call Protect App and I can not get the LG native email app and thus can not sync all of my MSN mail contacts with the phone. I know I can use the gmail app but I detest that app and would very much like to just use the native LG email app. Can anyone tell me how to do this? So far the only thing I can find/think of is that if I can load the firmware from an AT&T H871 onto my US997 then that should allow me to do what I am trying to do. Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Glenn W. Robinson
I would like to know if this is possible too. I have LG UP and a system dump from a stock att g6 with oreo. Is it possible?

Sim lock is not easy to unlock ~I think you had better find some one who are Professional to help you .
Hi there,
Right I got my jade 110 (HTC Touch 3 G) unlocked with a similar unlocking software which I bought through h**p://jade.sim-unlocker.com/.It came with full set on instructions but it was specific for my IMEI & therefore it can not be used for any other phone.
cypher1055..The reason you can only unlock one phone, is if the software worked for any IMEI number, the people you purchased it from will lose custom, so software is set for only one phone.
hey guys i notice that "find my Phone feature wont work." i recently did the unlock hack via registry. is theres a way that may have done something ?? i have a Lg optimus 7
thanks

Check with another phone carier, I have same problem on one carrier it works, on another not. For tests use another phone number, it is not required that SIM card be in WP7 phone. If carier "support" this feature you will get SMS from microsoft, if not you are unlucky.
I guess microsoft (from live.com) use some global SMS carier and some carriers in different countries have not configured their gateways to accept this messages.
Well, one thing I noticed is if I am on WiFi or with data on, I tend to find my phone. Microsoft uses three different methods, I believe, to find your phone. One is using the location caching sent from your phone regularly if you have that on in the setting. The other is sending an SMS to force your phone to send a location, in which case your carrier needs to support global SMS I believe, and lastly, they send an email to do the same thing the SMS intended to do.
So first thing you should do is to check whether both boxes are checked in find my phone in settings. Secondly, be patient, if Microsoft can't locate it right away, they will send you an email when they do find it.
I have the lg g2 f320l, the Korean version. I use Go SMS app for messaging, and when I tried to restore my messages it separates them into two different conversations. One is for outgoing messages and the other is incoming. Also, if I click on the conversation the messages will stay in that conversation however if I choose write new message it starts a new conversation. Is there a way to fix that because I find it annoying, but I love my phone.

Not a problem. I use att and was working fine until they found out I had the unlimted data but I am fixing to work on that. I don't know about T mobile I iffy about switching carriers since T mobile signal where i am at isn't the best :/. But i am trying net10 on my old samsung s3 mini and its okay as of now.
Hello everyone. So, I recently installed the latest snapshot of CM 11 for the Sprint LG G2 (LS980). I LOVED it, super smooth, with an occasional issue of the screen freezing when unlocking, where the screen would turn on but would not register any touch and had to be hard-reset. While annoying, I was fine with dealing with this issue every now and then.
Eventually, I realized that I was unable to send SMS to two friends. I could send SMS to everyone else that I contact on a regular basis but them. I have my number ported to Google Voice, and after I would text (it would even say sent, with both the "Messaging" and "Hangouts" applications) it would not appear on the web version of Google Voice for these specific people as being sent. These folks have Verizon and AT&T, which I could still send SMS to for other contacts. The only thing I could think of is that one person has an iPhone and the other has a dumb flip phone.
I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues or know where I could look to fix these issues because I would love to continue using CM for that Kit Kat stock feel. Thank you in advance!
I just rooted my Verizon GS5 onto Lollipop (earlier thread). I froze everything I didn't want running including updates prior to activating the phone on the network. In the past, Verizon seems to push the VVM update almost immediately, but it can't happen with everything frozen. My concern is, if I enable update, won't Verizon push the Marshmallow update too? I just want the voicemail app but I can't find it anywhere. Is my best bet defrosting the update stuff long enough to get VVM and then freeze it? Or, is there an APK somewhere?
tl;dr where can I get the Verizon visual voicemail apk? If not available, will defrosting the update stuff force a Lollipop->Marshmallow update that i DON'T want?

your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

I posted to that thread. Hopefully someone will see it either here or there.
I turned software updates back on to see if that would convince Verizon to update VVM. Nothing happened, so I checked for updates. It offered me the MM update but didn't offer anything else (I politely declined).
In the past, Verizon just pushed the update and automatically turned on the Advanced VVM which they charged for (downgrade to basic for no charge) and I didn't have a choice. Now I'm not even getting an option. My wife is on a Verizon GS5 MM and she has Basic VVM so I know it's not been eliminated.
This issue has been resolved. I called Verizon and after waiting 20 minutes on hold, I was able to get them to resend the Premium VVM offer which automatically upgraded my VM app to VVM. I declined Premium and now have Basic VVM.
