Hi there,
Have just been through a very strange situation here.
I am using BT mouse and keyboard on my PC. They have been working flawlessly, paired and connected without drama.
But when I was trying to connect my S8 to my PC, it always failed. The phone can successfully pair with the PC though.
If you try to send a file to the phone via BT from the PC, the phone can receive. But if vice versa, failed!
PC is using Windows 10 Home 64-bit. All drivers are update to date. Before I tried the BT with my S8, I used the Type-C cable first to connect (in case there is some driver needed to install on the PC), no issue at all. Then switched to BT, cannot connect!
Any clue guys?
Thanks heaps!

I just installed software named "BlueSoleil" that came with driver cd
of my new USB Bluetooth dongle. After installation, I have connected my USB dongle with my notebook. My notebook could see my USB BT dongle well. But, I couldn't use software "BlueSoleil" for connecting my Dopod with notebook via Bluetooth at all. Everytime I open this program, I will find 'error' message and Windows forced me to close this program. Can anybody help me?
Note: for more info about this software, please go here

Thanks!
I have the latest ActiveSync, and a 8525 using Windows XP SP2.
ActiveSync was working fine until 2 weeks ago. Now I get an error saying its an unrecognized USB device. If I repair ActiveSync it works only 1 time then I have to repair again.
The phone charges fine, no other issues.
Could this be a USB issue on the phone?
i would first try a different cable or usb port on the pc
Ill give that a shot.
Still does the same thing. Charges fine.
Sometimes it will connect to ActiveSync then drop randomly.
Sometimes when I plug it in it doesnt recognize it.
soft reset your phone and then turn active sync on and off on the phone. Then try to connect.
I had a similar problem. whenever I connected my tytn to my pc, It wouldn't even charge my phone, nor would it activate active sync. the PC wouldn't recognize my device.
The solution that worked for me was to connect it to my pc, keep the PDA on, go into device manager, network adapter - and there it was - the windows mobile based device was disabled..
I have enabled it and now all is back to normal...
Would anyone know if its possible and if so any ideas or tips on how to get a windows mobile device to play its sounds via activesync on the PC.
So if you have SatNav running and connected to a PC all the directions would be read out through the PC speakers rather than the device speaker. That kinda thing.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
There must be some application that do work.
but here is what i was done.
you need ( usb or anyother kind of ) bluetooth on your pc.
install bluesoleil and activate Headset service.
then connect to your pc bluetooth with PDA.
It detect your pc's bluetooth as a bluetooth headset and all sounds can be heard from PC.
Goodday!
i got the following problem,
When i am trying to connect my hd2 with my computer it all works fine. But when i want to sync my phone trough active sync, it doesn't see my HD2. I can send packages like pictures or movies to my phone trough this bluetooth connection but i really want to update my HD2.
My phone doenst connect with usb anymore so thats why im trying to store an bluetooth connection. (I am using windows XP.)
If you guys could help me out i would be verry pleased, thnx instead!
Download and install Windows Mobile Device Centre, everything should work fine afterwards!
i thought that windows device center isn't working for windows xp users?
you want to update your HD2 using bluetooth because usb cable is no longer working?
Simply, Bluetooth is not a replacement for the USB cable. You can't apply ROM updates through Bluetooth, you have to fix the USB
This is crazy... why is the S4 so difficult to connect to PC via USB?
I've done some searching on this and people blame cables, media transport, etc...
-My S4 can connect to my work Win7 PC reliably so far (HP Desktop)
-My S4 can NOT connect to our home Win7 PC (Toshiba Laptop). Nothing shows in DeviceManager or FileManager. Rebboted PC and S4.
-Wife's S4 connected to our home Win7 PC one time, copied some files to it.
-Wife's S4 can NOT connect to our home Win7 PC any more (with same cable but since have tried two cables one being the original Samsung)
Has anyone found a reliable fix for this? My phone's flash is filling up with pictures/videos.

Are you using the stock cable to connect it ? I've never had any issue with it being recognized even with just the stock usb device driver. You might need to reinstall drivers and use the stock cord
