Bootlooped again after the fix - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First time it was bootlooped of death December 14th 2017, i followed squabbi's post https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guide-tutorial-nexus-6p-bootloop-death-t3716330 and i fixed it and then in march it bootlooped again. I tried the fix again, nothing. I tried to get in the 808 mode or in Emergency mode, nothing. Tried the custom bootloader, not working. Tried turning off/on the bootloader still nothing. Any help please!

I am having similar issues as well. In my post here I go through the steps I have taken up to this point. Most of the methods listed are from other members here on XDA trying to fix the boot loop.
Currently, I am unable to get past the issue myself but maybe you will have more luck. Try to give some more information though about your situation and others will be able to help you better. How far does boot get? Can you load fastboot? Have you tried a factory reset? Is your bootloader locked/unlocked?
This information will help others help you, good luck to us both man!

Very/Ultra Bricked... :( Help!?

[SOLVED] So who wants a challenge? Here we go:
So long story short I formatted date/cache and all that stuff with team win touch recovery. After i found out that i was unable to re-flash a new zip for some reason, I decided to use the nexus root toolkit to try to factory reset.
Anyyyway, somehow Fastboot failed halfway through and now recovery is gone with everything else. The only thing i can get into is the bootloader mode....
My device is still listed as a fastboot device, but when i try to re-run the 'flash-to-stock from bricked' mode i get this: (see attached picture)
Please help, I honestly have been working on this for days, but i simply do not know enough to fix it! I have also been on this site for some time, but i have not been able to find a solution.....
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

EDIT- So I solved my problem, but i have no real explanation as to why it worked. I literally tried it over and over and over, then it eventually worked. Sooooooo your guess is as good as mine!

[Q] 4.4 OTA Problem

This evening I received my 4.4 ota only for it to get stuck on the opening animation. After reading other peoples issues here I put it in recovery and wiped cache. Still stuck on animation. I then did a factory reset and still stuck on animation. What is my next option?

Use the first guide in my signature if your device is bootloader locked, or the others if unlocked.

I had that happen tonight as well. I used Mr. Skip's toolkit to side load stock 4.3 back and then the OTA pushed again and it went OK.
He already did a factory reset which wipe out the entire device, there is no point of going back 4.3 to get the OTA. Flash directly the 4.4 factory image.
Thanks for your replies, I have not much experience in this and your guide as detailed as it is doesn't make much sense to someone like me with limited knowledge in this area. Is there a basic guide someone could direct me to please? I really need my phone back!

I followed one of the videos on youtube to use Skips Toolkit(?) to get my phone back on with 4.4 installed. I installed drivers as stated and it seemed like everything was going ok, then the update failed and now pc won't recognise phone/usb so I'm a bit stuck now. Does anyone have any tips of my next move I'm starting to panic now. Thanks for the help so far
Can anyone help with my problem please?

Go back and reload 4.4 with Mr. Skip's toolkit again. It should be able to see the phone even if the PC doesn't.
Thanks for reply. I have tried it doesn't seem to recognise my phone, it did first time though. I'm beginning to tear my hair out now

Please Help! Can't boot into ROM or Recovery

Hello, I am not a noob and I have been rooting phones for quite a while!
I was on an Android N ROM, WETA and tupac, with TWRP 3.0.2-1 working just fine.. all of a sudden I couldn't boot into recovery or into my ROM.. so I decided to say screw it and booted into bootloader and used fastboot commands to stock MTC20F.. flashed all of it except userdata, but I did format userdata at the end. I then rebooted the phone and I still cannot get past the Google logo.. it just reboots the phone everytime.. Not sure where I went wrong but being on Project Fi, I can't just go into a store and get a new phone.. So I a have a big issue right now and have no idea where something went wrong.. I would greatly appreciate some help or guides of how to go about fixing this.. I don't know why but normally fastboot always fixes my issue!!
sorry i did not read fully,
your pc does not recognize the phone during the boot at all?
There are some ongoing issues with reverting back from N to MM..... Not sure if you are faced with the same issue or not, but I know a few people are in your boat, with no resolution at this time.

Please note: If you decide to upgrade to Nougat, at this stage you cannot return to Marshmallow. Trying to downgrade to MM has seen multiple bricks occur. I don't know why this is happening but it's happening.

Hello,
It seems you have access to fastboot so refer to this thread, unbrick tools are both
for android 9 and 10. See post #2 if you have t mobile variant.
Ask if you have questions you find many kindly users here.

a500 stuck on a boot loop, links dead

Hello there, I've searched on this forum some methods on trying to get out of the boot loop. Someone gave me this tablet and i thought that i would reset the device but it just ended up on a bootloop. I know that this device should probably be thrown out, but maybe there is a chance to use it. If you had a bootloop problem and fixed it or even bricked your a500, would you mind posting the exact thread here for me to read.
The links on this forums were mostly dead so if anyone can give working links please?
Thanks!

If it bootloops I think the best way is to use an update.zip to reset the device.
