[Q] Upgraded to Oreo, USB debugging not showing notification - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Hello there, upgraded to Oreo this morning excited to try out Andromeda and Substratum again thinking it would be no big deal. Turns out it's been a massive headache. I've tried rebooting my phone and PC, changing settings on my phone to revoke USB debugging tokens, to no avail. I won't get the popup asking for debugging when I plug my phone in. Sorry if this is not specific enough, but this is my first post.

[Q] Usb Debugging enabled but not showing on phone.

OK so I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T I have rooted and flashed to Page plus with no problems. I reflashed back to stock to NAF and did all the Updates to NG5. I have enabled Developer options and have usb debug enabled. I cannot for life of get the phone to show up as usb debugging enabled. So now I am having trouble with anything I do with DFS or Wireless Workshop that requires usb debugging to be used. I have tried different usb cords and different usb ports and have uninstalled and reinstalled samsung drivers and still cant get the phone itself to show usb debugging enabled in the pull down screen on the phone. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have searched and found one post with a similar problem but no resolutions to it. Mods and admins I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section/forum please move if need be. Thanks.

USB Debugging problem

Hello guys, I need help to root my phone. After I click on USB Debugging (on Developer options), the option turns off itself and then I can't connect with the PC. The problem is on the phone, I have updated the drivers on pc, installed Lenovo Manager but didn't work. What should I do? Thanks!
Nobody?
Nobody? I think the problem is like usb debug process crashing on android, because it turns off itself.

ADB with usb debugging disabled?

Hi, all. I'm a dumbass and tried to update my phone today without making sure I was doing it right. Long story short, I have a recovery that doesn't work with N (TWRP, my device was on preview #2) and a good bootloader. However, when I updated, I forgot to turn on usb debugging. Now that the update failed, I can only boot to recovery (doesn't work) and the bootloader. NRT doesn't recognize the phone because debugging isn't enabled.
Can someone walk me through getting my phone running again?
Never mind. I got it. I have a USB hub that my phone doesn't like, apparently.

USB Debugging. not working.

(Had to repost since no one replies on the sprint section of the G2)
So my friend bought an LS 980 which still has 4.4.2 Kitkat on it. but it doesnt show any networks.
Im trying to unlock this phone but somehow USB Debugging isnt showing up on the notification tab.
and yes i did a lot of research, (installed drivers both adb and LG drivers already and checked usb debugging in developer options)
I've been struggling to get it working since yesterday.
Hope someone can help me out so i can return this phone to him asap thanks
(been through a lot of pages already about usb debugging but none help though.....)

makr sure to check usb cable or changr it.
try with different cable.
check usb connection mode not to charge only.
check usb debugging option with cable pluged in and connected to mobile weither debugging option is visible or dim..

Thanks for the reply, but usb debugging wouldn't come out in the notification tab somehow. it grays out after i checked it in developer options and plugged in using the USB, i used Sony and samsung cables btw, is LG usb cables really required?. and i tried all modes already when i plug it in, PTP, MTP and the other ones.
Is it the cables the problem? been stuck for many days already.

Issues with USB connections on newest Oxygen OS

Hi,
since one of the latest Oxygen OS updates, my OnePlus 5 is not able to connect to any PC anymore as long as USB-Debugging is enabled. It's not showing up in Device-Manager nor lsusb on multiple PCs, I've tried rebooting multiple times, safe mode, clearing settings data, but nothing seems to have changed it's behavior - when turning on USB Debugging, all USB connections seem to get lost, including data and charging. A curious thing I noticed is that the Android-System notification that lets you switch USB modes sticks around when unplugging in this state, even after disabling debugging again, until the phone is restarted.
Is this a common issue? I haven't been able to find anything about it on XDA or on their official product forums which seem to be pretty dead, but it's a pretty big problem for me since I need this phone for app development.
Thanks!

I'm running the current stable Oxygen OS 5.1.5(ONEPLUS A500_23_180808), unrooted. I'll try installing the new beta, since fastboot mode still gets recognized by PCs.
Ok, so beta 19 didn't change anything about it - still the same issue and behavior when unplugging. Not sure what else to do other than trying to wipe it, which would be pretty annoying
I have the same problem and I can not solve it neither with usb debuginc or mtp and I see that Oneplus is not bothering att all about this problem. I need to transfer some data from my computer to my phone and I am stucked. I am thinking sending to warranty or sell it! I was a big fun but now........

I've tried this a few times, the options in that pop-up don't have any effect whatsoever after enabling USB debugging and unplugging/plugging the phone back in. Also tried changing the default setting, which doesn't seem to have any effect either though.
Same for me. No effect att all. I don't lnpw what to do. I have a lot of files in storage and I can not root my phone and try another Rom.
Help!!!
I have done all the possibel combinations.
