SM-N920T stock 6.0 vs 7.0 firmware benchmark results comparison - Galaxy Note5 General

Howdy!
Here is an AnTuTu Benchmark of two T-mobile Note 5's Both Stock Firmware with limited amount of apps running.
Left is one with official Update to 7.0, right is the stock 6.0.1. ???
Is this for real??? Can I get to 7.0 without losing performance?

Benchmarks say nothing. You can run several test and all of them will be different.

lollipop vs kitkat

am really tired, when i updated to lollipop program take alot of ram space and make some app to re open it again when i returned to it,not save it,so i returned to kitkat but the battery drain fast about 1% every minute.
that crazy so what to do? am not expected that from note 4.
advice plz with abuild version or area which work good,no matter kitkat ot lollipop.
thanks
I also returned back to Kitkat & after returning I reset my Note 4 (factory reset) , and every thing working fine
Lollipop is full with bugs so maybe my next update will be Android M when it will come, I believe Lollipop is a no go with a lot of bugs and issues even the coming 5.1.1

what is your product name and which baseband version u on ?
IR work with u?
my phone is N910H
My Note 4 n-910G is working good on lollipop. I'm on stock non-rooted 5.0.1 and i cant wait to get 5.1.1 (M would be heaven but i'm not holding my breath for it). Lollipop for me is quite fast and just tiny annoying bugs, nothing major. Kitkat 4.4.4 was blazing fast for me before. It's suffered a little after i flashed L but i wont go back now. I'm lucky i haven't got the battery issues i keep hearing about, or those lags/bugs. That would make me throw the phone across the room.
Here's to Samsung to give it's best flagship of late 2014, early 2015 Android M

Have you checked your camera pictures ???
Observe the viewfinder, the way everything looks, it will all show like some paint effect compared to the pictures that came sharp while on kitkat.
Please do compare pictures when on kitkat and after lollipop update.
I have created a new thread on it. Many have not observed their camera picture quality post update.
ok... now i'mma worried. will try it

Ok go back to lollipop and flash the 5.1.1 kuybi rom. It's fast and smooth. It's been debloated and is very good on battery life. It's much better then any of the other lollipop and kitkat. In fact I would go as far to say it's the best lollipop build here on xda for now.

Should i upgrade to 5.1.1?

So i'm still on 4.4.2 and it works perfectly fine for me (just the tab is slow in general tho), what are the pros/cons of the 5.1.1 build? I for whatever reason, believe that 5.1.1 may be a downgrade in battery life.
Dear imeem,
All i can say is the battery life is much improved when the tablet is upgraded(currently using 7.0 LTE with Android L 5.1.1.), smoother animations, improved security patches for malwares, smooth performance
Cons: I have noticed that rooting procedures became difficult on the Android especially when using one click root tools, now the rooting procedures involves flashing, unlocking bootloader to able to just achieved root than on the 4.4.2, other than that is nothing.

Nougat finally available - Upgrade or not? Downgrade possible?

We finally received the nougat update for S7 Edge in Denmark (this means Exynos version, SM-G935F). But should I upgrade or not? I like my current version, I heard battery time is worse on nougat and so on?
Also, would it be possible for me to try nougat out and then downgrade to marshmallow if needed?
downgrade should be possible but only with custom ROM i guess Battery was good at start 7-8 hours but now I'am back to 5-6 h sot with my normal usage, and started to get some google play stops... Will try to do a factory reset because I see a lot of junk from MM like people edge, that should be removed with Nougat?
You can flash any stock rom with Odin and thus you can downgrade to Marshmallow if you like.
The battery usage is much improved in Nougat.

Straight ODIN upgrade from 5.1.1 to 7.0?

Using an unlocked AT&T S6E+, btw. Posted on the At&t specific page but that place seems dormant.
I've been doing some reading and I seem to remember it being possible to ODIN flash a 6.0 on top of 5.1. But can I do 5.1 straight up to 7.0?
And how is our S6E+'s on MM or N? I'll be using AT&T firmware flash fires which I can get - the more important question being, is it worth it? All my apps are fine on 5.1, me wanting to do this has more to to do with performance improvements and better battery life than future app compatibility.
You can do that, but its recommended to do factory reset after upgrade.
There is no problem to upgrade firmware version but for downgrade it will make problem.

J320A - at&t- should I upgrade to nougat?

I just picked up a galaxy express prime running 6.0. I saw that nougat is available, but its not rootable. Has anyone tried stock 7.1 on the J320? I only saw one comment that said it made their phone very slow. I had a galaxy sol j321 on cricket that ran 6.0 and it got good battery life but was kinda laggy. I figure nougat will manage ram better? I'd like to flash TWRP but I cant find one for the J320A/AZ

Try flashing just the system.img, it's a long shot but maybe the marshmallow kernel can boot it?
If it does you could maintain root.
