Been with verizion for 16 years, went and ordered a new G6 and when I got it the screen on the camera was chipped.I call verizion and they send me a new phone, when I went to put the screen protector I noticed it had one on there already,so I'm asking has anyone ever heard of this before or did they start installing them before shipping.I think the phone is used.
I called tech support at LG and he said it was new,it also said the last factory data reset on it was from 9/01/2017,why would it have that ot it.
Appreciate any help thank's

Hi all,
Wondered if anyone has had a similar issue.
I have bought an orange spv m700, and had 2 issues with the screen.
Bought the phone on Friday morning, by Friday evening the screen had a bubble under the surface. I took the phone back and got an immediate replacement.
I have had the replacement phone for 6 days now, and the bubble came back. and without me noticing it the screen has cracked.
First question: is the top layer just a sheet of clear plastic that can be replaced?
Second: has anyone else seen the bubbles appear?
Third: why has the screen cracked so easy, I was really taking care of it (my xda2 was fine for 3 years)
Sorry for such a long post, other than the screen this device is a brilliant piece of kit !
I have only had my trinity for two weeks and tonight the exact same thing has happened. My touchscreen no longer functions properly.
I'm taking it back tomorrow, I hope they replace it. This has occured while the phone was in my pocket (wrapped in a cloth).
I have had mine for about a month now and nothing has gone wrong with it at all.
I am pretty sure the trinity has the same screen as the hermes and i havent had any probs with that either.
I took it back to the the three store and they replaced it. I am happy now.
Going to use the leather case at all times from now on...
Hi guys, my sister's Wizard is losing screen alignment after a few days. I've seen cheap digitizers for sale on eBay.
My question is, is a new digitizer the solution to this problem???
Thanks in advance....
It could be the solution to your problems or it could be the start of more problems. I'd suggest you clean all the dirt off the screen, even the bastard specs of dirt that gather under the edge. If this doesnt work try flashing a different rom and see if the symptoms persist. If your still having problems then you can assume your digitizer is faulty and pursue methods of replacing it.
I have just cleaned the screen using a microfiber cloth, that is supossed to pickup al dirt. After turning on the device the screen has lost alignment. Will test the new alignment for a few days before spending the bucks for the new digitizer...
Thanks a lot for your help...
Mine has been losing it since day one Still loosing alignment, but what I do is go to srat menu/setting/screen -> align screen and this solves the problem (temporarily though ). At first I thought this was due to imperfections of the original ROM, but I've had this problem with all the ROM installed, including XDA mobile 6.
okay
i had the same problem with my G3 8125 Cingular... and believe me, after months my ppc rest in local HTC repair service i decided to bring it in my hands, got the LCD from ebay (with TS included) and today i dissasembled and now its working everything so, i bet if u get the LCD+TS and change it, it will work correctly... wish u luck

hey guys, i had my 1 1/2 weeks old HD2 in my pocket and on pulling it out of there it showed some kind of imprint in the mid of the screen.
seems as if there was pressure on the glass in the middle of the screen which now somehow fused with display
the display still works, but one can see a dark spot in the middle of the screen, pretty as long as a pinky finger.
does anyone know how to fix that? or should i simply ask for replacement?
thanks in advance, photos will follow as soon as i find something to take pictures.
I had the samething. Really strange, when I spoke to HTC they said that I should send it in to repair. However you should go back to the store and get a replacement esp since you've only had it for a week and a half.
However if your with Vodafone you may have quite a wait for a replacement.
Hut go back to the store to get a exchange, they should do that as you can get a replacement phone for the first 28 days.
Hope that helps
By the way just took a look at your picture and it is almost a carbon copy of what happened to mine.
I had this happen to my old orbit, with its resitive screen and no hard plastic over the screen, but it used to disappear after a few hours, is yours permenant?
Hi everyone, I was wondering could someone help me out. I have a LG G2 which was stupidly dropped by myself today, so the top left hand side of the screen is cracked. half the screen don't work now so i can't even get into my phone with the passcode. I had a bit of screen burn on the screen anyway so it was going to get replaced soon anyway, also I can answer phone calls and the speaker seems fine.
Would this be the correct part that would fix all my problems?

I have the black version and was wondering would this phone look decent with a white front and black back casing, the seller also has the black version too.
Or would i be better off with this, with the casing?

any help much appreciated.
You will need the whole set. Since your touch isn't working. CALL LG for a quote. I believe they fix for about $100 including shipping.

So I've cracked my Moto G4 Play glass, and I had to buy a new screen. After I lift up the back cover, I disconnect the old screen and put the new one in order to test it I thought it wasn't working since it didn't light up, but right after a few seconds my bootanimation (not bootlogo) showed up and the phone booted just fine. Quality was OK, touchscreen worked great and the gosthing was minimal, so I've ended up installing it.
But before I put all the screws again, I've tried out the original screen and both bootlogo and bootloader were working normally.
I really don't care since I'll be selling this device as it looks brand new, not a single scratch on it's body, but it's really strange that a screen replacement would cause such problem. Does anyone have a clue?
Hello friend, do you speak Spanish?
