Got the update but really do not understand the upgrade , basically the same thing.PIP is not working for some reason and mail app has a bug with Yahoo mail.
Is anybody has the same Issues?

FB updating issue.

Hi all. I can not find any solution to this. I have set up my phone to never update anything on auto, and yet my Facebook app (preinstalled one) still notifies me on friend requests, so still there is some updating taking place. I've turned of gmail sync and SE sync and everything else that allows updating even in the FB app settings, anyone else experience this? It is only this that seems to update though but still, it should'nt.

Twitter problem

Hello. This is my problem: when I want to update I see this:

I have the same problem! What happened? Since 3 days ago everything was working fine.
Same problem here. Last Tweet I received was on 3/29. I was able to post a Tweet even though I received an error mesage doing it.

I have the same problem and have installed the Hotfix, but now Peep is totally unresponsive. I can't get past the login screen, it just boots me back to the previous screen with no message or anything. I've tried a Twitter password reset, but no change. Any ideas anyone?
i hate stupid baggy sense.i installed the fix but nothing changed. it keeps saying that mu username or password are wrong.....
Its a global issue with HTC Peep since Twitter did some upgrade by end of March, the update released in Feb wont help, just cross ur finger and wait for HTC guys to release another fix

[Q] Update to 3.1 breaks exchange mail

I had an ota and it upgraded to 3.1. Now my exchange mail gets stuck in the outbox when replying. The only way to make it go is to forward or uncheck show quoted text. Anyone else have this problem?

thats wierd because my xoom also has a broken exchange after 3.1 HC update.
don't know what rom you are using, however it works very well with stock 4.10.40 rom including with o/c kernel.
eventually i would suggest that you do a dalvik cache cleanup, and also remove all data from your email application in settings, and setup your exchange account again.
also where do you find the show quoted text parameter, i have no such parameter in the standard ACER email application, which i am using for exchange, and it always worked without any problems.
thanks for the info. Exchange was working fine once the corporate account release updated my acer. It only stopped after 3.1 HC came out. Same thing on the xoom, worked fine pre-3.1, post-3.1 broken. I may try to load up an old rom until this problem is fixed.

I have the same problem with 4.010.40.
However I realized the following:
1- sending new emails is fine.
2- forwarding emails is also fine.
3- if you reply to emails, the reply gets stuck in the outbox forever, never sent.
I tried the trial version of Moxier, and it works fine with no issue, so it is not a problem with my email server (same settings). Moxier is nice, but I prefer the stock client as it is free, and the most important is that it allows me to reply or forward emails in HTML format.
any help here? or is it a bug in the client that need to be corrected by Acer?
Update: it seems the problem happens when I reply to HTML emails (which is almost all emails), but if the email is plain text, or I opt to not include original email, it is not sent.
This is silly, as the mail thing I liked here is being able to reply with HTML formatting preserved!!!

From what I have read 3.2 for the XOOM fixed the issue for them.
For us.. I don't think 3.2 is out for a few weeks? (just got mine so I am trying to get caught up on these threads..)

Anyway Not sure if anyone tried this or not.
This is a really PITA I was hoping for a fix but I am not having luck finding one so far.
I just tried setting up touchdown for exchange. Auto setup nor manual work. Used same settings as as on Dell streak 5.
Seems like I would need to down grade to stock for it to work properly.
Are any of you folks rooted or using superuser by chance? Just trying to think outside the upgrade box for possibilities.
If I find a way, I'll share. Best of luck folks.

In Android 4.4 there appears to be some pretty wicked Exchange mail issues and supposedly Google resolved according to https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=61785 and it looks like the CM guys merged fixes with http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/54017/ I'm trying to look through the OmniROM gerrit not getting anywhere so far. Would anyone using OmniROM 4.4 please reply if Exchange mail is working well or not?

I'm running Omni, the latest nightly, 10/12/2013 on my I9300 and haven't had any issues with Exchange mail.
4.4.1 probably includes those patches

Found this topic through searching. For me, Exchange has been giving problems since I put Omni 4.4.2 on it. Email does not arrive, syncing seems not to work.
I have never gotten the exchange to work at all, i only want to use it for contact sync.
For everything else (email/calendar) i use TouchDown Exchange, which never fails.

I've been using the exchange on my HTC One with no problems. I also have exposed with the exchange security defeat module and all is working fine for me. Never really had any problems with either at all.

MobileIron issues

Not sure if this is due to Marshmallow or newer Samsung email client but email flow stops after a few hours and the only way to kick start it is to remove email account and let it drop again from the MDM. Is anybody using MobileIron and can chime in on their experience? I had no issues with Edge Plus, btw
Same issue. I found that if you go to settings within the email client and then select your account -> Exchange Server settings and then just click Done. That gets it going again for me. Big problem.

I updated the Core from 8.0 to 8.5 and the issue is gone.
We have had our Core and Sentry updated to the latest version for a little while now and so far every Galaxy S6/7 running marshmallow update are having a similar issue. Opened up a case with MobileIron and they are claiming it is an issue on Samsung's end and to open a ticket with them. Workaround is to go to settings within the email client and then select the account -> Exchange Server Settings and then just click Done and it will work for a random amount of time.
My wife has a mobileiron setup from her job. But she has a different issue. I was looking if there's anything that can be done on the client side. The sync seems to work ok but when some messages are deleted from the inbox on the PC - on the mobile they show up in both deleted items and inbox.
And no matter how I update the email they don't get removed from the inbox.
It happens to some messages, not all.
I don't work for her company so I have no idea how the server is set up but it looks very weird.
MobileIron is a joke in my opinion. I experience sync issues, can't use finger print unlock on my Note 4, and the Email+ app is laughable. Now that a bootloader unlock is available for the Note 4 I am hoping to find a way to use MobileIron with root access but that may be difficult considering it has root kit detection built in.
SOLUTION
Hi all, I had the same problem with my Galaxy S7 Edge Duo that my exchange email randomly stop syncing. I contacted Samsung support but they did not have a solution.
At the end, I downloaded a new official firmware on sammobile and flashed it with odin then my problem has gone away. My email sync every time now.
I hope this helps other who is experiencing the same problem.
