I just bought an H910 (AT&T) from eBay. All working fine except that there is no sound at all coming from the phone with or without earphones. I replaced the earpiece under the motherboard but that did not fix it. I also reset to factory a couple of times but that did not help either. When I try to play a song, the music player shows it playing but no sound comes out. Any ideas?
One more thing. When I power the phone, the LG logo comes on immediately, but it takes several minutes for the home screen to come on. After that, everything functions normally (except the sound as IU mentioned). Very strange, has anyone experienced this behavior?
Thank you.

Does the speaker in the phone have a mute ? No mater what jack I plug into the thing it never shuts off the speaker. I was hoping to play tunes on my car stereo but now I found out that even the samsung earbuds don't turn it off either, or is the phone junk and trade it in for a different one?
As strange as it may be but I was surfing this forum and made it to page 20 and then my phone locked up.I made it to taking off the batery cover and then my touch screen started to work normally again. It just kept zooming in and out. Then I was able to restart it and the head phones worked as they should. No explination on why and this morning I. Jammed the phone internet radio on my way into work with no problems .WTF? Hope it stays fixed.
Just had this happen on two Venue Pros with latest firmware and Mango. On each phone, after a while the sound that plays out of the external speaker is cut off. You can hear alerts and ringtones play for a fraction of a second before they are cut off. It will still vibrate. This also affects the speakerphone, which won't play any audio during a call. Games won't have any audio. The earphone speaker works fine.
Originally I thought this was a hardware defect, since others have had faulty speakerphone connections, but after restoring Nodo on both phones, the sound returned but was still spotty on one phone (leads me to point to the FW). Back on Mango, the behavior continues at random times, persisting after a reboot and sometimes working after a reboot.
Toggling the sound sliders on the ringtones + sounds setting page seems to trigger it and sometimes solve it. My theory is that this is a driver issue with the new FW, or the new Mango beta.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
81 views and no one has anything similar?
Mine did the same thing
My DVP was 8 days old when this happened to me and called dell to get a replacement immediately. I updated to mango and ran it for a long period ogf time before it happened. I may have a defective unit, but it hasnt happened again.
this is a hardware issue. sometimes by just holding the phone it goes away.
if it happens again put pressure on the bottom have of the keyboard or the bottom back and the battery cover.
i find sometime when i turn the handset to the side (to play a game) it does it and when i turn it back its ok again.
also it seems mango can go to a higher sound lever what will make the connection to the speaker have more porblems if you have it high.
ps. also it you pull up or down the slider ( to reveal the keyboard) to fast it can make the connection go out.
ps2. i wish someone would do a teardown of the dvp so i can see how the connect is made.
hope this helps
Hey Guys,
I have a unrooted nexus 7 which has been working fine until a month ago... It started with the power button no longer responding which somehow corrected it self. That sameday I'm watching a you tube video and the speaker buzzed for a second locking up the video, so I had to replay the video and suddenly had no sound... I played around with all the volume controls in the settings and had no success however the volume control for alarm and notification alarm did play a test sound when I moved the bar but did not increase in volume or decrease just remained at the same soft level no matter where I placed my finger on the control bar. But the headphones still work.
So I did a factory reset and it had no effect. I left the device off for a few hours and turned it back on and the audio came back like new, but after 15 to 20 mins it goes right back to the same problem I had since I watched the you tube video... No one else seems to be experiencing this so I think the speaker or something in the hardware has failed... I'll probably RMA but if any one has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Thanks
I think you are correct about the hardware problem. When it's an hardware issue nothings better than RMA.
When in a dark room or so, when I take picture with flash mode on...the camera screen goes blank and I hve to lock and unlock it to solve the problem. But if happens again when I take another shot.
Is there any solution ? Do I hve to worry ? Is it hardware or software problem and if its a software prob...will it damage my camera hardware or any other ?
Please help me out!
OnePlusTwo
Same problem with my phone too...
Yes i have this issue too... either in dark / low lit rooms it creates problems but only when flash is used. the screen goes blank and doesn't respond to any of the buttons or touches (even though it vibrates on pressing the back button / multi task button) and only works after i lock n unlock the phone again.
Software, as if you flash hydrogen rom

Okay, so yesterday I received my JBL t150 earphones for my #OnePlus2 and the sound quality is incredible. But I am facing one issue. The button on the mic is not functioning properly. Like I inserted it for first time it couldn't play/pause music or take calls. I used it on other device it worked fine then again tried on mine it then started working(not on play music tho) then I sync my accnt on play music and the play pause feature started working fine(even in mx player and es media player). But after i plug it out and then plug in again the button play pause feature doesn't work. Then I try it few time, still doesn't work. Then I restart my device and use it again it worked fine but again I unplugged them and plugged in again and again the play pause feature doesn't work. Sometimes even after restart it doesn't work until after few minutes. So i think it's either compatibility issues or something with the OS? Because earphones work fine in my sis LG device. (korean model) . Guys, please help.
2 days ago sprint pushed an update for the note 10+ and for some reason it messed up my speaker when playing apps (games, music, etc...). The sound comes out of the top of the phone for some reason and it's VERY soft. You almost can't hear it unless you put your ear up to the phone. While on a phone call, the speaker seems to work just fine, it's just when playing media that the speaker doesn't work. The headphones seem to work just fine but the speaker does not. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Well, Nevermind, lol. All of a sudden my phone just restarted by itself and the sound works perfectly now. Very odd because for the last 2 days it hasn't worked properly.
It's weird. I had an issue with my daughter's S9+ after an update, speakers were being intermittent and crackling. Eventually did a full reset but the issues remained.
After a great deal of research and messing around, a Spotify playlist on the SD card was to blame. Took out SD card everything worked fine.
Turns out the problem is an app called BIGO. When I use it, it plays the sound out of the top speaker as though I'm on a phone call. I have to force stop the app to get things back to normal. I have let the developers know but haven't heard anything back from them.l
