Hello guys Running Android 7.0 stock no root and i just found out that the package disabler pro doesnt work any more it says ''operation not supported'' is there any other app that can do the same as this one or is there any fix for this to solve?
You can use Adhell for package disabling. I use an older version of PDP (which still works for me) but my friend says Adhell is working great for him.
Have you updated app and installed the latest PDP engine?
pdp v11.0/(83) works fine on my s8+

bk package disabler (not free)
adhell 2
I use bk disabler before I know about adhell 2, so now adhell 2 just for block ads and disable package use bk disabler.

Not sure if you ever had it working, but apparently it takes 2 or 3 steps.
1) Email the developer to get a coupon code for the new app (if you already paid for the old one. If not, it's also available through a ****ty lil site called androidhub dot com).
2) Get the new/working version: "Package Disabler Pro +"
3) install the app "PDP Engine" (currently VERY poorly rated @2.4stars)
Not sure if it's a massive & stupid oversight, or I'm missing something, but package disabler pro + doesn't seem to say anywhere that it requires the PDP engine, but it doesn't work without it.
is someone facing problems with package disabler pro again ? I can't open it cuz the app doesn't see that the BK Plugin 2 is installed. I can't open the BK Plugin 2 either, it just flashes a black screen.

I'm having the same issue with BK Disabler. It no longer sees the BK Plugin app when you try to run it. I'd like to downgrade to an older version.

Just checked. I have the plugin activated as an administrator and it's version 1.1.1. When I open BK Disabler, it asks me to install the BK Plugin. Not sure what's wrong.

I'm on the final beta build (U.S. variant). Maybe I need the final firmware. It's been a minute since I've open BK Disabler so I can't say when it worked last.
@ryaneu got it working. Booted into recovery and cleared cache. Not sure why but that cleared up the issues.
I haven't touched mine BK Disabler for a while. Now I went on it and apparently the "Services" button that allows you to select specifically which Services to disable, is gone !!!

Any ideia what is going on?! We need this to a correct Bixby button remap.
Just to help out but why not clear up all the old garbage in XDA.
NONE OF THIS WORKS as of 2018.
The best way to get any of it working is to start with an old rom, install Package Disabler and do your work.
THEN update with knox and the rest disabled so the new version can't break your system.
Otherwise get rid of the false information because all your doing is confusing people.
Package disabler pro working on oreo
I have tested this myself and even after rebooting you will have the applied theme steps to follow.
1. Apply them of it choice I.e. trial theme.
2. Open package disabler pro.
3. Search for themes you will get 2 names
4. Expand it and clear data followed by disable and force stop.
5. Repeat the same in 2nd search result.
Voila u got ur trial theme permanently even after rebooting it stays.

You need to remove Xposed, edit your build.prop and then reinstall Xposed in order to stop this from happening.

There is if you go to system settings>applications>application manager> swipe all the way to the right to turned off. It will be there, select it and turn it back on.
And as I said if you just force stopped it it would probably turn back on in 24 hours. If after a couple days you can't do anything just save all your settings via Kies and Odin back to stock, re root and Kies back your settings

Just go to the Samsung App store and just look for HealthService or just reinstall S-health.. If you don't have the Samsung apps APK just download it from the site. Hopefully it works!
Try clearing app data on the service if you can
Could you fully delete the two apks (S Health and Health Services) from the system/priv-app folder, uninstall Xposed, restart the phone, then install shealth and health service with updated apks from the web (download, unzip, and install as normal apks).
I still can't post links to updated apks on the web as I'm a new poster, so either google for SHealth 3.2 or type mediafire, then ".com/" and then: download/w1bdd7665aiyogo/S-Health3_2.zip
Install, open, and let them update (if they will - probably won't be needed as both files are in the zip and both are current) and you should be good to go.
For what it's worth, I most recently installed Shealth AFTER having installed Xposed after also having started with a clean wipe (Oden) and having run the bloatware deletion .bat file from another thread (My order was wipe, root, SU, debloat, Xposed, then SHealth update manually as it wouldn't on its own).
I had removed the SHealth files from the .bat file, but I found I was stuck with an older version of SHealth that wouldn't update (I assume I also blew out some required Samsung updater with the bloatware bat). I used the above method to update my SHealth app to the latest version (I wanted the stress feature). In the end, I have Xposed running all sorts of things and current SHealth apps that work fine.
If you go into Titanium Backup, you should be able to turn it back on there. It's the same as "unfreezing" an app. In titanium, click on the app, and then click "defrost" .
If you also notice, any app that you turned off in the application manager, will show up as "frozen" in titanium backup.

*** ONLY DO THIS FOR TESTING PURPOSE ***
Those who have got the MM update, could you please check whether uninstalling Facebook app via Titanium makes your auto rotation to stop working? Some say it doesn't, some say it does.
I took a screen record while uninstalling it, make sure you are doing the exact same steps. For the record, uninstalling ONLY the apk is enough to mess it up, I still went on and removed the other Facebook system stuffs out of frustration.
Please comment.
I always uninstall Facebook & "company" and other trash again, and never had problems with rotation on kitkat , lollipop and marshmallow.

Yes, by re-flashing the stock ROM[emoji23]And then not touching those Facebook related craps.
PS:
@HDxDaniel
Could you tell me whether you have uninstalled any of these apps? Because I don't use these! S Voice isn't listed as it's a system app, I don't use that either.

I uninstalled most of those apps except Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Play newsletter and maybe another app too.
I noticed one thing today, if you use an app like System App Remover, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
, then uninstall Facebook and other craps, then the rotation works normally. So it could be Titanium doing something crazy here, don't know!

Somebody, give this man a medal! Saved my butt reflashing ROM again. Just copy to system/lib change permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot. You think it's caused by Titanium Backup? In that case? We should notify them.
yeah..... I got this too 2 days ago.
I uninstall some bloatware, including facebook with titanium backup.
then I realize that screen rotation doent work anymore.
I check the gyro, gravity, accel sensor. all works fine, but screen rotation wont work.
So I restore my backup ROM, and everything is fine again.
and yeah.... I just tried uninstalling facebook again, but this time I use System App Remover https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
auto rotation is still works.
Same here... I've done some testing removing bloatware and it's Titanium Backup's fault... I had to reflash the custom rom I'm using several times to reach this conclusion...

Out of curiosity, where did you get that file from?
I've just made a flashable zip with my working libgnustl_shared.so so I can replicate the issue later on and see if this solution works for me...
I downloaded this rom, extracted the zip, & copy pasted libgnustl to system/lib & changed permissions. Hopefully the individual upload will save someone else 1.49gb
The other version of libgnustl that was posted here didn't work for me, I tried it 3-4 times. My phone is a N910T.
It was a happy accident- I was planning on following someone else's success of extracting system.img.ext4 & flashing that file with skip soft, or more likely reverting to stock before I thought 'what if...'
A big thank you to everyone who shared the info to finding a solution

After that, you may wish to go to the following directory and delete the actual apk:
/system/priv-app/AutoPreconfig/
Find the AutoPreconfig.apk package and either delete it, or just rename it to something your Android doesn't recognize. The advantage to renaming it is that if for some reason you do end up needing it, you still have the file and you can just rename it back to stock.

I upgraded from version Q10 to version S05. First stockRom and then I installed rom s05 and magisk 25.2, everything is working wonderfully. I'm having difficulties installing Xposed Edge Pro 7.01. When starting it, the message appears that the module is not active. I installed Lsposed and managed to activate it within Lsposed but when running Xposed Edge Pro 7.01 it still appears that the module is not active yet. Which is to enable it within the xposed installer. I INSTALLED riru-v26.1.6.r527.cdcb9f34c6-release.zip and MAGISK 25.2 shows me that the Riru module is suspended because Zygisk is active. I also don't know if Riru is necessary to be installed and activated to Xposed Edge Pro 7.01 work. Could anyone help me how I can make Xposed Edge Pro 7.01 work on this ROMS05? I'd like also to install and Active the Riru module in Magisk because many modules need of Riru.

There is a new bixby voice wakeup 1.00.03-06

Did you ever get it figured out? I'm in the same boat.
the reason that bixby voice fails to install is because it must be placed on root on fone and permissions enhanced.
Further detail why bixby must be place on root of fone is because i took apart a wake-up app and compared to s- voice wake up and others. I found that Bixby voice lacked install instruction that s- voice had. There is no plug in direction.

Im using sm-n920v, verizon issue note 5. Locked bootloader i cant root my fone. You need to root ur fone. Then use a file exxplorer to insert the apk onto the root of the fone and adjust the permissions. Put this in utube search V6eSsjsh5LU lakerzz24 lakerzz24 is the channel. He will show u in depth what to do. His note 5 is rooted.

Unfortunately, the real question is how to do this without root access.

Unless u have some special flasher tool like the z3x i think it is its not gonna happen. I used one of them file explorers, and looked at its permissions and apk installation instructions that are progammed into the apk. I found that when compared to the s voice wake up apk. The bixby voice didnt have the apk installation instruction just the apk name and version. Sooo....... just have to find root for ur device or get the system flasher.
I am having the same prob and I think it might be bad news
Hi....i am having the same issue as you and I have had it before when I wanted to download the Samsung s8 touchwiz to my s7.
Unfortunately to solve that problem I had to back up all my pictures and factory reset the phone.....when setting the phone up again, don't sign in to Samsung when asked to do it. Then I went straight on the web and downloaded and installed the touchwiz no problem then finished the set up and completely forgot about bixby so download a full set of bixby programs. All of them installed but accept the wake up file.
So I will prob have to do another factory reset again and install the bixby straight away with it.
Only thing is I am not actually sure that even if the last bixby file does download will bixby voice actually work. I pretty sure there is something about needing custom ROM and having to download it in a boot loader to actually get it to work. So not sure if it's worth it
Also my wife has am S8 and bixby is great for the for few days but when it becomes part of everyday life you will never use....only time she seems to be on bixby is when she is knocking the button by accident.
By all means I am not saying it's **** or anything like that I just think it's in it's early days and it needs a couple of years yet to get off the ground and by the time it is worth all this work and fuss you, prob have a phone that has it on standard anyway.
I know I went on but want people to know what I have experienced with full bixby on S8 and it's not all si6nging and dancing like people think.
Hello, I have a new one plus 8 pro and I am rooted. I also have a Galaxy watch and when I install Samsung pay on the watch it says call customer service device has been compromised even though I have magiskhide for all the Samsung modules. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this working?
Thank you in advance...
I have the same problem. Completely stock. So I wonder if it's a Samsung issue. I had the 6t rooted and I was able to use Samsung pay without any problems
Okay, I think I found the answer. In magisk settings, you need to rename the package to something else. It is the third option down in settings. After I change the name it worked like a charm and of course you have to hide the for Samsung modules in magiskhide...

Is this still working for you? It's definitely not working on my end with my Pixel. The newest Magisk Manager also does not allow you to select any apps to hide, it's a simple toggle on or off for Magisk Hide and renaming the Magisk Manager didn't do anything.
Did you have to reboot after the rename?

UPDATED Post : see next post for my solution that worked.
Hi aaronc_98,
Hope this is actually still working for you on your OP8 Pro!
When you say you need to rename the package, what are you referring to exactly?? The Samsung Pay app or Hide the Magisk App (renaming) in App settings?
Please provide more details on a step-by-step process you did to make it work on your OP device...if still working.
I have OP6T and it has stopped working recently and can't find a way to get back.
My setup:
OP6T, OOS 10.3.11
Galaxy Watch 46mm, latest OS installed (Jun 15, 2021)
Galaxy Wear App, SPAY Watch Plugin up to date. (Jun 15, 2021).
Thanking you in advance!

UPDATE,
Got it all to work!
Preparation:
- Install Galaxy Wearable
- Update Watch to the latest
- Install SP Watch Plugin (do not launch it at all)
Magisk Setup:
- Hide the following apps in MagiskHide: Hit the shield, Hit "MagiskHide" and select the apps:
a) Google Play Services
b) Samsung Health
c) SP Watch Plugin
* You can add banking apps here as well

Next, recommend hiding the Magisk App itself for the setup. Here is how to do it:
- Hit "Settings" (within Magisk App)
- Hit "Hide the Magisk App" (I used MGKSettings).
Magisk will accept it and repopulate itself.
For good measure, I rebooted my device to recovery (TWRP in my case) wiped "Dalvik / ART Cache" and rebooted to system.
Once rebooted, go to the SP Watch Plugin App INFO (Do not launch the App), got to Storage & Cache & Clear Storage & Cache (should be 0 on both) for good measure!
Launch Galaxy Wear and (Strongly Recommended) scroll down to setup Samsung Pay and follow the steps. **(I don't recommend doing the SPay setup through the Watch Plugin.)**
If you get a notice within 10 seconds saying that the device is not secure (can't remember the message), you may have missed something and you need to start over with clean install of the SP Watch Plugin (storage & cache cleared).
Worst case they may have updated the Samsung Pay, Samsung Health Apps & OOS and it's been blocked again. Therefore we would need to restart the whole process from scratch or find another workaround.
PS. Some of you would probably like to restore or Un-Hide the Magisk App, so I went ahead and did it....so far SPay seems to be working. I have not reboot my device neither, which I rarely do. (I have rebooted my device several times since this post)
For any reason, in the coming days, there is an issue of any kind, I will report back here. If not, it's all good!
Hopefully this can help some of you out there!
worked for me, thanks a lot
