You need to remove Xposed, edit your build.prop and then reinstall Xposed in order to stop this from happening.
I did all that. I just can't turn HealthService back on.

This is why I edited my comment. I did like you and not read it fully. He did all the pre-reqs, just turned it off rather than the original solution. I do know eventually they come back on, I believe. Give it 24 hours and check again.

How did you turn it off? Mine won't even let me disable it (unless I change the apk name to .bak).

There is if you go to system settings>applications>application manager> swipe all the way to the right to turned off. It will be there, select it and turn it back on.
And as I said if you just force stopped it it would probably turn back on in 24 hours. If after a couple days you can't do anything just save all your settings via Kies and Odin back to stock, re root and Kies back your settings

Just go to the Samsung App store and just look for HealthService or just reinstall S-health.. If you don't have the Samsung apps APK just download it from the site. Hopefully it works!
Try clearing app data on the service if you can
Could you fully delete the two apks (S Health and Health Services) from the system/priv-app folder, uninstall Xposed, restart the phone, then install shealth and health service with updated apks from the web (download, unzip, and install as normal apks).
I still can't post links to updated apks on the web as I'm a new poster, so either google for SHealth 3.2 or type mediafire, then ".com/" and then: download/w1bdd7665aiyogo/S-Health3_2.zip
Install, open, and let them update (if they will - probably won't be needed as both files are in the zip and both are current) and you should be good to go.
For what it's worth, I most recently installed Shealth AFTER having installed Xposed after also having started with a clean wipe (Oden) and having run the bloatware deletion .bat file from another thread (My order was wipe, root, SU, debloat, Xposed, then SHealth update manually as it wouldn't on its own).
I had removed the SHealth files from the .bat file, but I found I was stuck with an older version of SHealth that wouldn't update (I assume I also blew out some required Samsung updater with the bloatware bat). I used the above method to update my SHealth app to the latest version (I wanted the stress feature). In the end, I have Xposed running all sorts of things and current SHealth apps that work fine.
If you go into Titanium Backup, you should be able to turn it back on there. It's the same as "unfreezing" an app. In titanium, click on the app, and then click "defrost" .
If you also notice, any app that you turned off in the application manager, will show up as "frozen" in titanium backup.

FOR SPRINT GALAXY TABs - DEACTIVATION OF SPRINT ACTIVATION MESSAGE ON BOOT and ACTIVATE DEVICE NOTIFICATIONS.
Ok well the verizon method of bypassing the activation everytime you start the tab doesnt work (vol up once, vol down twice, etc. etc.)
I used the 2nd post in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=866162
to try and deactivate the activation screen, but it bricked my Sprint Tab. I had to use the rom available here which messes up GPS and modem. But anyway foxmeister mentioned why not just go to the app and delete, freeze, it.
1) I used Root explorer and went to:
/system/app/
2) put the folder in R/W mode (look at top for button)
3) now look for -
sprintadroidextension.apk
4) long hold press it, either copy it and paste it in another folder as backup.
5) go back to /system/app/ and long hold press sprintadroidextension.apk
again and Delete it.
6) put the folder back in R/O mode.
Now restart and you should not see anymore activation messages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =]
Thank you to : foxmeister, sirmacbeth, rkmj
RKMJ stated you can try to use Titanium Backup and freeze the app instead of deleting it. I just deleted it and it WORKS =].
I also saved a backup in another folder so in case i need the app i'll have it.
I'll try to upload the apk for anyone who needs it later.
I made a separate topic on this because 1) i tried it and it worked 2) the other thread is confusing and can lead you to brick your sprint tab fast.
Finally!!! Something that finally appears to work!
Thank you!

R/W button?
I can't STAND the activation prompt... until today, I just put the tab in Airplane mode, and rebooted. That got rid of it, but I have to manually turn on the WiFi every time i boot it. I'm in position, but can't for the life of me find the R/W mode button, or a way to change the permissions... lil' help please?
Thanks for this! Whether ot works for me or not, I HAVE learned something!
=IP IHI II IL=
is your tab rooted? Are you use root explorer?
when you get over to the /system/app directory, on the upper left/middle side of the screen you'll see a button that might say either R/O or R/W
Click that button, it will switch from read only mode to read/write mode.
It might say Mount R/O or Mount R/W, i forgot exactly how it was.
I don;t have my tab on me, sent it into samsung because I did some stupid stuff nd lost my GPS capability.\
Cheers.
Worked good for me. Thanks!
I'm still going to use my G Tab in Airplane mode for the most part however. I have a hunch it's draining battery when it's locked onto the EVDO network, and there's signal bars in the status bar at the top of the screen.

What is this activation prompt? I have a Sprint Tab and have never seen it.
I'm sure there was some sort of activation the very first time I used the device, but certainly not every time I turn it on.
after deleting the file with root explorer it came back again.
how to delete the file? the tab is rooted
Ok, so I did everything and when I delete the file it comes right back. As soon as I go back to the system folder it seems the program regenerates itself.
Now I am having a problem with the R/O mode switch. When I first open the program I can change it to Mount r/w. However, as soon as I get into the system folder and the app folders the mount r/o button kind of greys out and when I click it nothing happens.
any ideas?
Thanks! This worked well for me. Only change was I used Super Manager rather than Root Explorer to delete the file (since it was free and on the Market for Sprint). If you don't set the directory to R/W is seems to work but dfoes not actually delete the file.
My question now is do I have to be concerend with firmware updates. Will they reset this or fail to apply? TIA
I think I answered this myself - Can't get OTA firmware updates and if you try it tries to activate again!
Future firmware updates are problematic too I hear - they will attempt tp prevent people hacking or rooting the device.

Yes, you can get Titanium Backup for free through the market and freeze the app. Also, for anyone having trouble deleting the app, freezing it through Titanium Backup will produce the same result of removing the activation prompt.
Bump for Woot buyers.
I've been having this problem on my Sprint Galaxy S III. I tried this method but it didn't work - activation came up again right after reboot. I tried searching for activation disabling on the GSIII and this was the only thing I could find. Anybody have any ideas on how to get the SIII to can the activation screen?
ADDED
I tried moving the sprint_installer.apk to my newly created backup folder where I also moved the sprintandroidextension.apk. I checked and that file did not regenerate as it did for another user in this discussion. Both are in the Backup sub-folder I created in the /system/app/ folder. Could it still be seeing these .apk's in there and loading them anyway? I've even picked up the paid version of Titanium Backup so I could try freezing the file (free version won't let you reeze but I use TB enough I figured $3.99 was more than reasonable for use I'd already gotten from it whether it helped this situation or not) but for some reason, it refuses to see the sprintandroidextension.apk file at all but I was able to freeze the Sprint-Installer.apk but it didn't appear to have any effect whatsoever.
edit: Can probably ignore most of this and use this APK instead:

I've been bothered by Google Voice not working since I got my Xoom on launch day, but have been using the web portal... Until now.
I loaded up my Droid, backed up Google Voice+settings with Titanium Backup, restored it on my Xoom and it came up without doing the setup, since it already had my account settings installed. It force closed the first time but I noticed an error in the notification area... Error was asking for permission to use that email address as my Google Voice account, I accepted, re-launched Google Voice and success, full app, working as it would on the phone. Gives notifications and everything.
Enjoy!

Latest version of the free TB, whatever version that is...
There's no directory in there that starts with a .(at least, according to ls -a, I don't have Root Explorer on here, using terminal), there is a com.google.android.apps.googlevoice directory with all the subdirectories and such though.
I can't get busy box to install. I'm rooted, but it's saying my NAND is locked or it wasn't able to remount.
[edit] nevermind. I guess it didn't like that I was plugged into my computer and didn't have the debug mode on. Strange.
My rooted phone crashed the other night - wouldn't boot passed the Galaxy S screen. So I wiped it clean.
When I tried to install a program, the Package Installer was missing from the list of actions.
I flashed back to stock ROM.
It's still not showing up in my actions menu.
When I go to settings/applications/ALL - it shows Package Installer at 0.00B.

Never heard of that website and it keeps timing out on me.
You're better off using the video linked above to Odin back to stock. This will erase all your data, so either start from scratch or back up your apps and whatnot.
Bad news...I followed the instructions from your suggested video.
Put on SPH-D700-DG27-8Gb-REL.tar
Still...the Program Installer doesn't show up on the ACTIONS menu!
It goes Music, then Phone, the gTalk Settings....
Grrrrrrrrrr.
Any other ideas?
So are you trying to side load an application? Meaning you have "Unknown sources" checked under the Settings > Applications menu, and have an apk file to install.
The phone won't install that apk file? Or are you looking for something else to happen when you touch the file on the screen?
If none of the above, then I'm lost at what you're trying to accomplish.
Correct. I'm just trying to load up some apk's that I have on SugarSync/DropBox/SD Card/etc. Unknown Sources is checked.
When I click on the apk - it gives me the action menu. None of those actions is Package Installer. It used to be there, now it isn't. I've loaded all my programs this way in the past.
I tried Odin again and put on the EC05 tar file. Same result. No Package Installer listed in the actions menu.
Man, I just don't know. This is my first time reading of such a problem on the Epic forum.
Using Odin and that tar file gives you 100% stock Froyo. You can then install apk files once the "unknown sources" option is selected.
Did you re-install any other applications after using Odin or restore your data? That could be your culprit, which would mean you'd have to start from scratch (aka clean install).
Starting from total scratch.
It's a mystery.
The only thing I installed was SugarSync so that I could get to the files.
I even tried downloading ASTRO File Manager and using their installer that shows up on the actions menu. That used to work to install...but it doesn't anymore. It just sticks.
I guess maybe I need to go to the Sprint Store. Good thing I flashed her

Same Problem
I just bought the Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile and I have the same problem. Well a similar problem. I went to see if there was an OTA update and it says "Install Package not found". So I went to the All list of applications and my Package Installed is 0.00 also. I did notice that a lot of other system apps are 0.00 also. Here's the list of them:
Account and Sync Settings
Activation Utility Service
Aging Test
Android Live Wallpapers
Android System
Battery Parameter Upgrade
BlueToothTestMode
BTtools
CDASYS
Certificate Installer
DbgCfgTool
E-Compass Calibration
Env_Runin_Vibrator_Tool
Fallback
FM Radio
FQC Program
G-Sensor Calibration
GasGaugeLogging
Gps Deleter
Home screen tips
HTML Viewer
Live Wallpaper Picker
logtools (I had two of these)
Magic Smoke Wallpaper
Media Container Service
Package Installer
Pico TTS
SD Card test
SIM Toolkit
Sound Recorder
System Update
Terminal Emulator
TTS Service
Voice Dialer
VPN Services
Wifi Comman
Wifi Test
It's a pretty extensive list. I did root it, but I know I had the update problem before I rooted it so I don't think that did anything to it. Hopefully we can figure out why they are messed up for both of our sakes. Thanks!

Wow man... I'm glad you were able to assist the people affected, but the attitude/negative tone is unnecessary. I just saw the post requesting me [or anyone for that matter] to share the files.
I stated that using Odin to go back to stock may be best. He/She was discussing a problem with what many would consider a core function, being able to install an application. Finally, CWM often gives bad flashes, so in my mind it appeared to be a logical suggestion to start with 100% stock and work from there to find the culprit.
I did not share the APK files because I got busy, forgot about the post and missed the request.

No, he's in GMT+8, that much is correct. (The forum displays your own timezone as the posting time.) But it does appear to be off by about 10 minutes.

I never block, there was an entry added there automatically. No idea. So I removed and left only localhost then relaunched google play and everything worked smoothly

Yeah, that's what your host file should have in it. Not sure why there was something else there. My only guess is that you installed a none Google play app that messed with it (I would say don't use that app, it's up to no good).

*** ONLY DO THIS FOR TESTING PURPOSE ***
Those who have got the MM update, could you please check whether uninstalling Facebook app via Titanium makes your auto rotation to stop working? Some say it doesn't, some say it does.
I took a screen record while uninstalling it, make sure you are doing the exact same steps. For the record, uninstalling ONLY the apk is enough to mess it up, I still went on and removed the other Facebook system stuffs out of frustration.
Please comment.
I always uninstall Facebook & "company" and other trash again, and never had problems with rotation on kitkat , lollipop and marshmallow.

Have you solve it?
It seems that is true, and after flashing the stock rom and uninstalling lot of bloatware (except all the facebook stuff) auto rotation works now.

Yes, by re-flashing the stock ROM[emoji23]And then not touching those Facebook related craps.
PS:
@HDxDaniel
Could you tell me whether you have uninstalled any of these apps? Because I don't use these! S Voice isn't listed as it's a system app, I don't use that either.

I uninstalled most of those apps except Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Play newsletter and maybe another app too.
I noticed one thing today, if you use an app like System App Remover, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
, then uninstall Facebook and other craps, then the rotation works normally. So it could be Titanium doing something crazy here, don't know!
I have the same problem (or I think so), I removed Facebook and Instagram applications with titanium backup and noticed my screen can't auto-rotate now
Anyone can upload the libgnustl_shared.so file ? I don't feel like flashing the whole system file again...
Thanks

After flashing the zip from the first post of this thread, the screen rotation is working again, seems like removing Samsung hub with titanium backup messed things
It looks like only reflashing the stock FW will help
I had the same problem tried every possible solution in this forums none worked
Maybe titanium or i flashed ios emoji for google keyboard!! But that never happened when was on Lollipop!! Now back to Odin
lol

Here you are my friend:
http://www27.zippyshare.com/v/QruHxan5/file.html
@yucelo I've already found the file in another thread, but thanks anyway
This happened to me multiple times on Lollipop.
Use a file manager with root capabilities and uninstall the .apk files manually

SAR system app remover done the deal

Somebody, give this man a medal! Saved my butt reflashing ROM again. Just copy to system/lib change permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot. You think it's caused by Titanium Backup? In that case? We should notify them.
yeah..... I got this too 2 days ago.
I uninstall some bloatware, including facebook with titanium backup.
then I realize that screen rotation doent work anymore.
I check the gyro, gravity, accel sensor. all works fine, but screen rotation wont work.
So I restore my backup ROM, and everything is fine again.
and yeah.... I just tried uninstalling facebook again, but this time I use System App Remover https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
auto rotation is still works.
Same here... I've done some testing removing bloatware and it's Titanium Backup's fault... I had to reflash the custom rom I'm using several times to reach this conclusion...
I had the same problem, & for whatever reason that version of the file failed to work for me. I had success with this one, following the same steps. https://www.4shared.com/file/ivpHIjBNce/libgnustl_shared.html

Out of curiosity, where did you get that file from?
I've just made a flashable zip with my working libgnustl_shared.so so I can replicate the issue later on and see if this solution works for me...
I downloaded this rom, extracted the zip, & copy pasted libgnustl to system/lib & changed permissions. Hopefully the individual upload will save someone else 1.49gb
The other version of libgnustl that was posted here didn't work for me, I tried it 3-4 times. My phone is a N910T.
It was a happy accident- I was planning on following someone else's success of extracting system.img.ext4 & flashing that file with skip soft, or more likely reverting to stock before I thought 'what if...'
A big thank you to everyone who shared the info to finding a solution
