We have a 6.2" Android head unit with a cracked screen. I have removed the screen (front panel) using 4 screws (two each side), but can't seem to find anywhere i can buy a replacement front panel. Does anyone know where I could get one? Or does anyone have a broken unit with a decent front panel I could buy for spares?
Thanks

Hello all,
My Touch HD slipped from my hands and ended-up flat on the screen... the screen does not have a scratch, the digitizer still works perfect, but the LCD underneath is broken, so I get a black screen. I can still access the Touch HD via my PC thanks to MyMobilier, though (so why do I complain, huh?!!)!
I ordered a replacement LCD in Hong-Kong (thanks ebay!), got the HTC Service Guide, managed to remove the antenna cover (tough!) and dismantle the whole thing. But NOW I AM STUCK with the 'bezel', i.e. the cover, screen, digitizer, LCD, and metal plate with bolts all apparently glued together.
Anyone faced the same problem? Anyone knows how to separate the LCD from the screen and digitizer?
Cheers,

HI there,
I need to replace my screen, so I ordered a complete unit (LCD Screen, Digitizer and front). Now, I have to problem how to fix it onto the housing. They used biadhesive tape, but when I first tried it, the screen did not react when pressing the buttons, for example. I had to press very hard until it reacted. So I guess, the distance was not high enough, wasn' it?
How do I glue in the screen? Which tape to use? How to center it?
Does anyone know which tape HTC uses?
Just looking for some info that I Can't find doing searches.
My note 3 was thrown at a wall. The main impact was the upper right corner, near the front facing camera. The frame was bent and the front screen was shattered entirely. The screen did not even light up at all when turned on.
I've had the front screen / case replaced. The phone now looks as good as new but the following two things do not work:
- front camera (it works but its blurred. Repair guy said it was shattered)
- GPS (cannot get a lock at all, not even sure if its being detected or what)
I have a new front camera coming in the mail (less than $10), but where is the GPS? I know it's located around the impact area, but what are my options / what could it be? The repair shop said the board looks ok, but I only found out the GPS wasn't working when I was trying to use navigation on the way home.
Can I replace the GPS antenna? If so what is the part called as I cannot find it anywhere.
I am hoping that the repair shop didn't seat a ribbon cable or something but I know this is probably unlikely and that the GPS is broke. If this is the case, what can I do to fix it?
Thanks,
Hi. Regrettably, my brand new N900A Note 3 fell out of my pocket while getting in my car, and subsequently run over, cracking the front glass and LCD. I've been able to determine that the screen still detects the S Pen, but does not respond to my finger. Does this mean the digitizer would need to be replaced also, or does the screen not detect my finger due to the front glass being broken?
Also, would anyone be able to recommend me somewhere to get good quality replacement parts?
Thank you very much in advance.
