Yeah, the rom is just like the normal Lineage OS but without gapps. nothing to sacrifice bricking your device over

I wiped all - except internal memory because of the files and photos that are there, and the twrp version is latest 3.2.0

Yes I wiped everything except storage. And TWRP is 3.1.0.0
Will try with the latest TWRP tomorrow
So how does this work? I do understand its an open implementation of few core Google services. Will I be able to install apps from play store? From an end user's perspective, what changes will I see compared to a regular custom ROM?

and i always lose signal no metter where i am it happends for few minutes - hours - even a day!

Installation Instructions coming from stock
If you are coming from stock OS (must be rooted with CWM) or an old build of GB, ICS, or JB then flash "defy_twrp_recovery_2.6.3.0.zip" from the links under downloads.
Wipe /data, /cache, and /system in TWRP or use defy_safewipe.zip

yeah it appears to be custom recovery flashable, does not seem to overwrite recovery
Next obvious question, is this multirom compatible? As secondary ROM?
They name it "Cyanogen OS 13.0.1" which mean that the latest Android security update was included.
For the issues, such as the Bluetooth disconnecting issue, can any one report if the issue is solved or not?
How do we get root back on this, I tried installing supersu from flashing the rom and from a supersu.zip and bricks the phone.

If you downloaded COS13 (full ZIP) and flashed it through custom recovery, it should work fine. Installing SU through TWRP 3.0 also worked without bricking my OPO. Are you sure you had not flashed anything else?

Try updating super su!
After flashing the rom don't update su! Once update is complete

You are upgrading from one android version to another.
I say that you should clean flash, that ways no FC'S or stuff like that would happen.

Where I can find a good (booting) EMUI 4.1? Since the one from B895-based custom roms still is on boot animation after 30 minutes. I don’t care if it's vodafone version or a mod or anything else, I just want a booting version.

I don't think so but if you want to try install----> change install image and install all img files without recovery and wipe data and reboot your phone,maybe work

2. Copy this on your microsd card
3.turn on twrp
4.make backup recovery partition
5.wipe advanced dalvik,cache,internal storage,data
6.flash 1 file(update.zip,1,5gb file)
7.restore recovery backup
8.reboot to twrp
9.install data eu
10.reboot your phone

mhm, I have finnaly hard bricked my device, yay! I couldn't even restore TWRP because it rebooted automatically into system. The device now just blinks red every 2 seconds and that's it. So development for this device is shut off because I don't seem to restore it.
EDIT: nah... the phone it's back, but it has a very complex bootloader compared to our one, and EMUI booted up btw and I didn't need any data flash. Now I will start working on the rom.

Before you ask: I'm on 64bit supported TWRP, and I have flashed them with /system /data (even /data/media) and /cache wiped.
When I flash ROM and GApps at the same time I got stuck in bootanimation.
When I flash ROM without GApps the ROM boots fine. But if I flash GApps later, Play Services keeps crashing.
Any ideas what's happening? Thanks in advance.

Solution: In my case, it was the recovery (tywinlannister's TWRP) the faulty one. I've flashed this recovery and everything works as supposed (tested ROM: Atomic OS 32bit)

Strange! Nothing like This happens in 1643 though! u can get opengapps from xda! I use pico for all the ROMs and skip adding Google account at the start! Works for me!

Any combination of div. Oreo-ROMS and the different Gapps-Versions form PICO up to AROMA wont't boot.
Flashing ROM and boot will work, went back to the recovery , Wipe Cache, DALVIK/ART, flash GAPPS will boot, but no Google-action works

I had the same problem : no GAPPS would work on any oreo rom (32 or 64 bit)
Seems that my recovery was to blame : I was using the twrp-3.2.1-r2-arm64-tywinlannister7.img as recovery
Just now, I switched to twrp_3.2.1-0_athene_NandO.img , Installed an Oreo ROM , installed gapps, and it runs just fine !
Are you by any chance also running twrp-3.2.1-r2-arm64-tywinlannister7.img as recovery ?!

okay, now it's works.
First I used the twrp_3.2.1-0_athene_NandO.img-Recovery, get 255 Error, flashed the tywinlannister's recovery, now it works well

Try to find "BiTGApps-arm-10.0.0-v0.6_signed.zip" from internet, it work well with this ROM.
And let me know if you can not find it out!

First I installed rom, then wipe cahed and dalvik, then reboot to recovery.
Next I tried "BiTGApps-arm-10.0.0-v0.6_signed.zip" but failed sdk version.
Then I tried "open_gapps-arm-10.0-pico-20201204.zip" and no errors at first try. so I wiped cache and dal and reboot again then flashed "Magisk_20.4"
And boot to system.
Reminder, skip pin entering after selecting 3 lock options. face unlock feature crashing and will NOT end SETUP.
BTW this is Great! Thanks! my first exp on AndroidQ.

Now I tried
flashing Rom and Gapps(pico) then Wipe Cache and Dalvik
then reboot to recovery then flash Magisk 20.4
(Optional Reboot to recovery I wiped Dalvik, Cache, Data, including Internal Storage.
Then I reboot to recovery again, because my recovery setting will reset after wiping internal storage)
Now reboot to SYSTEM
SETUP REMINDER! (My Mi3w) Face Unlock CRASHING and will NOT end SETUP.
To be safe I did (no sim inserted) Skip Data and Wifi.
Selected "FaceUnlock+Pin" (DO NOT ENTER PIN) "Skip" setup everything later.
