[STOCK][ZIP][LOLLIPOP][C6603] Android 5.0.2 | 10.6.A.0.454_Customized_HK [PREROOTED]

I have tried various methods to root on Lollipop, but I have not succeeded.
So I returned to KitKat, and then I flashed one version made by me with PRFCreator.
If you're like me, you'll have to reinstall KK, with root and Recovery, to flash the Lollipop Zip.
It's working fine, with root!
Device: XZ C6603
Market: Hong Kong
Connectivity: 4G/LTE
Versión of Android: 5.0.2 Lollipop

Full Wipe (Data, system, cache, davilk), flash zip, reboot. Done.

My question... is it present recovery, like cwm and twrp, into your zip??

It should work with a simple cache/dalvik cache wipe

No recovery. I tried, but it gets bootloop...

Works well! Only thing is as max.kasian said earlier, you'll get a boot loop if you try flashing the latest recovery, but that's more a Lollipop thing.

No offense mate, but if you couldn't figure that out then your probably going to be running into more problems later.

About root - do I need to flash SuperSU or is it just pre-rootet?
If I want to roll back to KK (running Xsistens rom right now), will I have flash an ftf of KK, then flash recovery, then restore my nandroid of my current setup?
I'm just trying to figure out how much work it is if I don't like Lollipop

Yes, SuperSU is pre-installed and root is working.
Recovery for Lollipop isn't working yet, so to restore your KK backup you will need to flash KK ftf, root, flash recovery, restore backup.
edit: recovery working if your phone has UB

sorry for my noob question. Now I'm running with CynogenMod 12 and I have CWM recovery... and unlocked bootloader. if I flash this zip will I lose CWM recovery?

Yes, CWM recovery will be lost.
However, since your bootloader is unlocked you can flash the stock lollipop kernel with recovery from here:

flash advanced stock Kernel with TWRP ... fastboot flash boot boot.img

- Will also need to wipe system. Maybe not data unless you have things like xposed installed which may not be compatible with Lollipop.
- Flash kernel from link (if you want recovery)
- Don't select to wipe SDcard/external storage in recovery and it won't be wiped.
- Recovery is CWM.

test it and tell me if it work
i dont have the device to test it but it should work, Q Mini and Q Maxi are almost the same

the rom is S6 lolipop
copy the rom zip on sdcard
reboot in recovery CWM
backup first previous rom
-wipe data factory reset
-install zip from sdcard/ choose zip/ sellect the rom zip/ yes install
aroma installer will start, follow thw steps
when it finish, reboot the phone

with stok recovery it dont work to install
if you have CWM then press -install zip from sdcard not -update from zip

if you have a rooted phone and CWM recovery instaled
can flash the rom without problem(you will not brik the phone)
make a backup of your working rom before flash it
you can write a feedback here

I only have the link update from s07 to s010, but dont have full stok rom.

Yeah, you can actually do that without root. I assume you have knowledge to use fastboot tools.
Download twrp 3.0.2 and put it in fastboot folder on pc.
Now type in "fastboot boot twrpxxx.img"
Your phone will boot into twrp without actually flashing it. Then, select backup and choose "system, data, boot, recovery" and complete backup of your ROM will be created.

Well, that depends on you. You need to backup only system, boot and recovery, that will give you the clean backup. But, if you would like to revert back with the same settings and apps installed earlier then you might choose to backup data and cache too.

C02B895/6 causes partition table fails.

I'm trying to get @surdu_petru's ROMs to work, but I have to use the old C432B600 firmware for my phone. When I'm using the ROM provided by him (flashing the ZIP as described in his post), it will flash the ROM, but after I boot into the OS and back into TWRP and I try to do a pre-ROM-flash wipe, it fails to mount important partitions (/data, /cache and I think /system). When I try going back to EMUI, a screen with "Enter password to decrypt partitions", as if I encrypted them. I flashed it both from ResRemix and from C432B600. What's wrong with that?

The EMUI 4.1+ ROMs have encryption enabled by default. You can't use them without having encrypted data. After you install the stock ROM you need to Format (not wipe) data

I'll try that tomorrow and I'll get back to you if it works, but iirc I couldn't because neither TWRP nor the stock ROM could mount /data.

Just to clarify, I take B895 provided by Surdu, unpack, take boot.img, edit fstab.hi6210sft?

I don't understand... Do you want to stay in EMUI 4.1 as a daily driver? It's an old update from March. You just need to follow surdu's instructions to install his ROM. Format data removes encryption. I just see no reason to edit files if you just want the custom ROM... Anyhow @kosmitchak 's post is interesting

On most emui 4.1 devices even after format data phone is encrypting itself you can prevent it by doing this mod

i've a problem since totay...my phone won't boot in my rom.
Offical ROM, no changes.
This morning i've just try to change my TWRP but doesn't work .. so i've reinstall this one twrp_davinci_3.3.1_12-08-19_blue_Ss_new.img.
But now, I can't boot in my rom.
Since TWRP, I've tried to installed a .zip like uninstaller magisk and i've an error like can't mount /system.
I've no directory /system, i've /sys and /system_root
Myabe it's a bad track.
What did you think ?

This the official ROM MIUI 10 when I buy the phone 1-2 mounths ago on official website
So I d'ont flash the rom.
I've unlock phone, twrp and root sicne one month

but the only who work is
twrp_davinci_3.3.1_12-08-19_blue_Ss_new.img

I install this twrp-3.3.1-4-davinci.img and it's work and better desing than twrp_davinci_3.3.1_12-08-19_blue_Ss_new.img
but already not solved my problem. Sniff
