I downloaded the SlimBean ROM and GAPPS, booted to recovery, and selected the ROM, GAPPS, LOKI DOKI just incase, and flashed it, which took what seems very little time. It then asked to fix permissions so I swiped it and it just shut down immediately and went into the loop. I have tried ODIN, with and without PIT file and it all does the same. Kies was unsuccessful as well. Also, is anyone here who could possibly make a flashable kernel and recovery via ODIN? I am willing to test some things on my phone since it is indeed bricked. Either Monday or Tuesday if I cannot get it up and working I'll be replacing it. It has happened to quite a few others and it seems to do with a AOSP Kernel on a TW ROM? I am not 100% sure and have tried to find an answer but none is found.

Edit: SUCCESS!!!! After about working on my phone for 5 hours, it has finally booted!! After Kies did its thing, it started into the boot loop once more. So I just took out the battery and let it sit for maybe 5-10 minutes. I put the battery in and as soon as I did so I held down the 3 buttons to boot into recovery and amazingly it the logo and text appeared. However, at first it did not boot into the recovery, but restarted, but I continued to hold down the keys for recovery and BAM, IT BOOTED!!! So now my Galaxy S4 is finally up and running .
Edit 2 : Sorry about the posting, but it was originally a question that I was hunting for. I hope it helps some people with getting their devices restored.
You said as soon as Kies did its thing. What exactly did you do?
(Sorry for bad english) i was on 4.4.4 then flashed the Poland Version of 5.0.1 from the thread i found from XDA, the flash went perfect and using the phone normally. but after few hours of usage, i noticed a heat from my pocket. the phone was rebooting constantly, at this time i didnt time the reboot time cycle, i booted the phone to TWRP then restored the 4.4.4 backup that i made, but the update didnt succeed, now i cant boot to the OS, when i got home i wiped all the data then flashed the 5.0.1 ROM again, but this time when its time for the "Updating apps x of xxx" it will reboot indefinitely. i timed the reboot interval and it was exactly 60 seconds after the spinning circle stops and reboots again. i even tried to leave the phone for 20 mins to see what happens. but its still the same. Please someone help. i just got the phone this week and im desparate to find a fix.

I don't know but, if u did backup 4.4.4 rom, and flashed 5.0.1 rom, ur backup does not work cuz u have diffrent bootloader and modem in 5.0.1 than 4.4.4.
Hi. Goodday and i want to start of by thanking everybody for reading this and taking your time in advance.
My problem is very clear. I have rooted my phone with odin. Installed the recovery from TRMP?(ik think that's what it's called). Flashed the ROM CyangenMod 12.1. Now i tried flashing the Xposed software which is not a problem (i wipe dalvik before hand). After a reboot and then letting my phone boot up, i just keeps the boot up animation going for around 5 minutes. Didn't try longer then that. After that i booted in recovery again an flashed the uninstalled Xposed and me phone boots normally again (not taking into account it has to optimise the apps again which makes sense after a dalvik whipe).
Any ideas on a solution? Any information you might need ect. Ps, i am not super skilled or anything. I understand a little more then thr basics and thats it.
Again, thanks for your time and help!!
Hi!
Just got myself Note 4, and after rooting and installing TWRP I started looking for ROM that fits my needs. And here goes the strange thing - after tryign few ROMs, now the only ones that will work are Omega, Emotroid & CMRemix. All others after flashing keep rebooting. That is, system starts, and after 30 secs to 1 minute there is reboot. AND - they don't see the SIM card. Those that work do.
I tried to revert to basics - tried FULL erase from TWRP, reflashed via ODIN original roms (those started no problem), but when in tried again - the same. Other ROMs keep crashing.
So, does anybody have an idea how to totally wipe a phone ( I mean, totally, just leaving ODIN flashing capability so that I can reflash it)? I suspect that there must be somethign somewhere that stayed after one of the ROMs. And what puzzles me, those ROMs that now crash it, were working prevoiusly.
Any ideas/advice will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello . I have a problem with my WAS-LX1. I unlocked the bootloader. I installed the TWRP red version from KingOfMezi. I wipe all the data exactly as in the video. I flashed Elemental V2. I chose the LX1 smell and the rest just like in the movie. I get the OK message. After my restart my phone restarts again, and after the second restart I go into android, I choose the wifi network and after about 1 minute it restarts again. After another minute restart. And so to the end. Right now I have the original WAS-LX1C432B204 software on it. can somebody help me please. :crying:
Elemental V2 ater B204
Do you think it does matter if I install Elemental V2 after B204 or after B182. I still wonder why the phone restarts at approximately 1 minute intervals. I want to abstain from those I do not know for sure, because I've been tired of how many times I've tried with harsh advice.
