Mda3 ext.rom

Hello,
on my Blue Angel is Windows 2003.
For upgrading to Mobile 6.1 I wanted to expand the memory like shown in the main thread from WIKI.
They say:
Install xda-developers_Unlocker.CAB by tapping on it in filemanger (from the directory where you put it earlier)
Then go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> then first run "unhide", then "Unlock".
I made it step by step.
When I now try to open the files unhide and unlock the MDA says, he does not find the files. In one thread they say, the solution is a special german cab.
Where can I find it or what else can I do to extend the memory?
Bye
ullihaush
the problem is that this unlocker installs itself to the standard program folder, which on an english rom would be "\program files\" but on a german rom it's "\programme\" but the shortcut on startmenu is written to \program files.
since you don't need any other program files anymore as you intend to flash it again anyway, you can simply rename the programme folder to program files or move the program on file explorer to the program files folder, so the startmenu short cuts can find the unlocker.
Hi Chef_Tony,
thanks for the fast respond.
The problem is still there. I can unhide it now, but when I tip on the unlock file, it says: Debug ERROR:
When I run the DEPART_doc, it says:
"FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVE failed"
Do you have any idea?
done found the solution. Made new folder and it worked. Thanks for your help

Just make a folder in the root of the device
"\programme\"
If I understand the fix correctly, this should solve your issues.
the problem with \programme\ and other localized names for the program files folder only affects the start menu links of the unlocker, but not repart doc. i suggested to re-download the repart doc, because there are different versions for each htc phone, and everytime you try a wrong version, it gives you that error, happened to me with several versions on the universal, before i gave up, because apparently, on the uni, the partitions can't be merged.
also, crc errors due to a faulty download or too much copying around the file could affect its functionality.
i wonder, why there is no mtty command for this entire action. i mean, a while back, my BA started behaving strangely, even after re-flashing and hard resetting, so i formatted the device using mtty, and it worked fine. then after flashing i realized, that the partitions were back to the stock settings 43mb storage, 16mb extrom. so mtty is not only capable of formatting, but also of re-partitioning.
Hi,
problem solved.
Just do what the different "How to´s" say and everything works fine.
I think my problem was that I made the wrong Hardreset after flashing.
It was not easy to push the 3 Buttons (Power, Camera, Rec) and the Stick in the Reset simultaniously.
TO READ IS SOMETIMES VERY USEFULL!
So thanks for help.

Hi Blue Angel specialists,
problem NOT solved! I still have only 43 MB and not 60 MB!
When I run the DEPART_doc, it says:
"FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVE failed" and I could not fix it.
I tried everything - two different WM 2003 ROMs - create new folders "Programme" "Programs" - test different .cab´s with the repart_doc inside - NOTHING happens.
Always the same error.
Does anyone have a good idea?
Thanks

At this point, I am not sure anymore. The unlock, repart procedure has always worked afaik. Can you flash an WWE rom on your BA? Is there a WWE version for your device? Check under xplode's signature as he has links to pretty much every shipped rom variant for the Blue Angel and see if you can get a WWE (0409). Then, simply flash it onto your device and try to do REPART again.
ok, let's go over this again:
if the unlocker works, there is no need to change the program files folder!
forget about the unlocker completely, your issue is in the repart_doc.
the repart_doc is not supposed to come as a cab! it is a simple exe file.
have you tried following my tutorial and using my tools, linked in the tutorial, like i told you before? that error usually means that you use a repart_doc not meant for this device.
1. zip datei auspacken (kein passwort)

Help needed: no syncronisation between outlook2007 an HD Touch on windows7/64

My motherlanguage is german, please excuse possible mistakes an wrong terms.
I am trying to connect the telefon to my computer. As mentioned above I use windows7/64, Outlook2007 both legal and updated, the ROM-version is 1.14.407.3. The only thridparty-software I use is a navigation-software.
Even within two hours telephonecall with the htc-hotline, Germany (wich is located in South England) we did not find the reason for this malfunction.
What we tried:
turned off all virusscanners, firewalls etc. We deactivated on the telephone side the acceleration-option in transferring data in active-sync.
Aswell a soft-reset did not bring any changes.
What I was able to recognise:
Not all the time I tried to connect the telephone to the computer the telephone reacted in the same way! From time to time it does nothing, usually it shows a message over minutes (!) that the telephone is 'connecting with the host'. Seldomn the telephone get's to the status that it is connected. Independend to this the computer shows in the devicemanager (not the mobile-devicecenter) a identified pocket PC and this should be without problems.
The mobile devicecenterr did only one time search for a device (but did not find it), in all other cases it did not even search it.
All the HTC-Hotline now whants me to do, is a hardreset, wich I would try to avoid: all my calendar-informations are now only on my telephone, without any backups!
Does anybody have a clou what I can do in this case?
I am really disapointed with all the problems I buyed with windows7 compared with my old XP!
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Yours
User from Bremen
Well I don't know how to solve your problem, but I'd make a backup with SK Tools, just to be on the save side if you're gonna make a hard reset...
For example, you can try:
http://www.s-k-tools.com/index.html?m_downloads.html#tools
And.. there are rumours that the mobile center is deleting informations on first connect..
Hallo User Bremen
Ich schreibe dir mal in Deutsch
Zunächst solltest du deine Daten einmal sichern!!!
Verwende dazu MyPhone - funktioniert recht gut.
http ://myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/Start.po?mkt=de-DE
Try uninstalling W7 mobile device centre from your pc and reloading it. You may also want to try a different mini usb cable.
Are all your calender events and contacts saved on your computer? If so, they will load back on your phone if you lose them after a hard reset. You will however lose txt messages and some other stuff.
Good luck

If you don't have the info in your outlook and you have "Replace items on device" set. It will sync your device to an empty outlook and delete all contacts, calenders etc.
@all
thank you for your help!
And sorry for responding so late, I thought I was sent an e-mail if posts are on this thread.
How can I recover this thread, if there is sent no link to it?
Topic:
What has happend meanwhile:
- changed the USB-cable
- made a soft reset
Both did not really changed anything.
What has happened:
- it still takes minutes to 'search for host'
- it still only sometimes shows the message that the mobile is connected to the host
- it twice connected teh mobile to the computer (WMDC identified my mobile with it's right name) and started to syncronise. After at least five minutes it suddenly broke the connection. The WMDC is not connected anymore.
What I will do:
- first of all I try tp back up my data and then think about updating to ROM...
I am so disappointed and hopeless at this time and I am so happy about any suggestions.

ALE-L21C432B210 - Marshmallow only for specific firmwares ?

Hi there,
I havent done ROM updates for some time and got my hands on a "Huawei P8 Lite" (Build ALE-L21C432B210) EMUI 3.1. - DUAL SIM.
germany - telekom (debitel)
Happy to see google says it got a Android 6.0 Update, but I had to realize it was taken down back then already...just to read I need the app Hi-Care,
which I installed but which didnt offer an update to me though, saying I got the latest already (ALE-L21C432B210)
This is also what the "built-in" update says when connected to WLAN.
I found instructions on how to update to 6.0, but instructions say, that only the following Firmwares are compatible : (?)
https://www.huaweiblog.de/downloads/huawei-p8-lite-firmware-update-b550-offiziell-download/
ALE-L21C432B524
ALE-L21C432B194
ALE-L21C432B188
ALE-L21C432B170
ALE-L21C432B010
and/or
B170
B183
B194
B199
B200
B550
B551
B560
So my ALE-L21C432B210 (B210) is not enlisted. Does this mean my Huawei P8 Lite cant get Android 6.0 (yet) ?
Because I also found this one : (B584 - Dual SIM)
https://www.huaweiblog.de/downloads/huawei-p8-lite-firmware-b584-und-b585-verfuegbar/
Can I use this one ? :S
Or can I straight start with this B594 full update ? (no mention of Dual SIM)
https://www.huaweiblog.de/software/update/huawei-p8-lite-b594-bringt-sicherheitspatch/
And why does my autoupdate from the phone say "you are up to date",
but this guy from germany "Willi" says his ALE-L21C432B210 updated automatically to ALE-L21C432B554 :
https://www.huaweiblog.de/downloads/huawei-p8-lite-firmware-update-b550-offiziell-download/
I remember that official ROMS got restrictions for specific regions or specific Model numbers...is that the case here or am I missing something ?
Why do some say its a rare firmware with no update yet...while others claim it even auto updated itself already to Marshmallow in 2016 ?
Whats the reason ? Feeling quite dissapointed and dumb right now. ^^ Never experienced such a mess when it comes to an update.
p.s.
a.) Is it normal that if connected via usb to HiSuite, that the display keeps turning on saying "Connected via USB", even if I switch the display off via the power button ?
(it charges normally, without turnign the display on after turning it off) -> might be PC usb port or the Huawei app....
b.) My device got delivered (sealed package) with developer mode visible and already activated...is that a standard now ?
Regards
Same situation here (B210, Germany). No update available via HiCare or system updates.
The latest firmware available for download from consumer.huawei.com/de/support/mobile-phones/p8lite_de-sup.htm is B564; supported versions for upgrading are
ALE-L21C432B560
ALE-L21C432B550
ALE-L21C432B524
ALE-L21C432B204
ALE-L21C432B200
ALE-L21C432B194
ALE-L21C432B170
ALE-L21C432B010
according to the documentation in the firmware zip - but no B210.
Is there anyone who got an OTA update to Marshmallow for B210 in Germany?

You wist never get a general firmware on the phone unless it is unBranding.

The "branded" is not to compare with the 24 month lock, where you can only use these providers Sim cards.
It refers to the firmware you have on it. Updates and updates of some pre-installed APP updates are only available from the PROVIDER.
With this procedure the firmware is deleted by the provider and you then have a NEUTRAL EUROPEAN VERSION on it, where then the update over HUAWEI runs.
Update: I talked to Huawai German support staff. According to them, Marshmallow OTA update for my B210 is expected to be rolled out in March. Guess I'll wait and see...
And thanks for all the help!
Thanks to Wolf !
Here is a(nother) step-by-step-by-step guide, exactly how I did it.
You cant miss anything (P8 Lite DUAL Sim Europe)
german:
1.)
Handy mit" VOL Down gedrückt halten" an USB angeschlossen, "FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE" erscheint.
2.)
Ganz wichtig, dort muss in rot stehen (Phone Unlocked) !!!

-Problem, menu "locale Update" dissapeared in B574
So, only copy the file "update.app" from the file "Update.zip" to the dload folder on your device
and restart the device with VOLUp+VOLDown+Power. It will update automatically then and do some optimizing.
Or you can only flash it via "VolUP+VolDOWN+Power" or *#*#2846579#*#*
Project Menu -> Software Upgrade -> SD card (yes you will need SD card)
p.s. B594 arrived as well
https://www.huaweiblog.de/software/update/huawei-p8-lite-b594-bringt-sicherheitspatch/ (Danke nochmals an Wolf !)
To wrap this up: B210 is now getting B584 as OTA update, immediately followed by B594 via OTA.
Mine is B160.... what should I do?
