I am new to posting on this forum and I would really appreciate you guys help. I am not sure if I am in the right spot, so I am sorry if it isn't. I have a Shield TV 16gb 2017 and it was rooted with Supersu . I downloaded the 6.0 update then Shield started showing a lot of bugs, so instead of unrooting the Shield first my dumb butt hit the factory reset without thinking. The system reset and when setting it back up the Shield will connect to my wifi network, but when putting in my Google information the "network connectivity is lost". I tried to set it up through my phone and when trying to sign into Google the same thing happens "network connectivity lost please set up manually". The Shield is only 2 months old. Can someone please help. I appreciate your time and help in this matter. Thank you
Unfortunately your in the same situation as many of us, you will probably have to wait until the factory image for 6.0 is released and reflash from scratch. I'd try to factory reset again in the meantime.

I tried to hardwire my Shield today and I still get the same thing. I don't know why I can't even set up my Google account hardwired. I can get into my bootloader and I factory reset again a few times with no luck. I see the option for flashing with a USB drive so my question is can I download a recovery image and flash through USB thumb drive? I can't hook my USB cable up to my PC because I turned the option off to use expanded memory. Thank you guys for all your help and I would like some feed back if possible. Thank you SM-N950U for taking the time out to respond.
Nvidia hasn't released the 6.0 factory images yet which can be found at:
https://developer.nvidia.com/shield-open-source
When they do you can reflash.

Definitely agree. I'll stick on Paul until it's proven safe to upgrade to mm. I don't even care if it's a stock mm rom. As long as I keep my bootloader unlocked.

Just showed up on both my wife and my note 4. Waiting to find out if we can still obtain root before taking it though. I'd really prefer the official marshmellow combined with Cyanogenmod.
Western NC here, BTW.
Just downloaded and installed. All the icons are yucky now. My phone was fully stock so did not have the same concerns as some of you with regards to boot loader et all. Location is Boston. Seems ok so far other than the yucky icons.
I'm in eastern NC and still nothing. I'm OK with that though as I hope some of you will be the guinea pigs and see if there is any issues with it before I install it

I want to make sure we can still unlock the phone. We should be able to get a complete CM13 now if the bootloader can still obtain perm unlock and we have perm root.
I haven't seen any new phone released since our Note 4s that delivers every feature I want plus more, so I'm planning on sticking with our note 4s for some time to come.

Hi,Guys Please Help Me!i have a p8 lite model ALE-L21C02B130!,how can i get marshmallow on the device(i am from south Africa)and will like the official version any help will be appreciated....
The first place to check is MENU - SETTINGS - ABOUT PHONE - SOFTWARE VERSION - CHECK FOR UPDATES. If the OTA notification doesn't show up then it's possible your carrier hasn't release the OTA yet. Also, if the update notification doesn't show up, you will need a PC or laptop to download the official firmware and perform the installation.
I also just went back and looked at the P8 Lite General Forum and there is a thread that appears to be dedicated to updating your P8 Lite from Lollipop to Marshmallow. That is where I would start.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA-Developers mobile app
i have checked there is no update available what with you recommend me doing waiting for carrier or flash it this way the device is (brand new)
If it were me and I wanted the official 6.0.1 MM I would flash it myself which is what I always do anyways. It doesn't matter to me if my device is brand new or not. I would read through the P8 Lite General Forum. There are several threads about updating to the latest 6.0.1 MM firmware and the region they are for. Where are you located? That will help you in finding the correct firmware to download and install.

I found a tutorial for upgrading manually. You have to download the update from the huawei server and put it on a sd card. In the settings you can choose "Local update" (i don't know the exact expression, im from germany). You can try it with HiCare also, but i don't know if this works...
For bad english: Sorry, i've learned english only in school, reading and in games

Hey guys,
I would like to ask if anyone was in similar situation. I'm running the newest Pure Nexus rom. Everything was perfect till today. I was surfing on Chrome when phone restarted suddenly. And since that time it's in a bootloop. I tried to flash factory 6.0.1, 7.0, twrp and yet... nothing. Keeps bootlooping. Does it mean it's a hard brick? It's still under warranty though. I bought it from Best Buy on February, 2016. Man! I'm glad I haven't sold my Nexus 5. It's just so small.
Any ideas? Is it over?

@jamescable TRUTH!! With that being Said I would go back to full stock. I'm not sure of your method but I would use Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.9 with a full wipe. The App will do it all for you. If that doesn't work then it's hardware related but at least it's back stock!
I can access fastboot and flash the newest factory image from Google. But can't get into recovery after flashing twrp nor do a full wipe. It keeps switching between unlocked bootloader warning and Google logo. No matter what I do. I'll try toolkit as you suggested after returning from work.

Yeah, I know. I mentioned it for reference. I'm getting stuck at Google logo no matter what I do. When I chose factory reset or recovery it gets stuck there. That happened yesterday while I was on chrome. Phone restarted without a reason and then it started.
I was on the newest PN. Then I flashed stock 7.0 and it's the same. I tried twrp and can't get into it as well.

Hey guys anyone else having issues with latest upgrade from ZTE and the specific app.
On my device it's not working at all.
Never had issues with previous ZTE software version and neither with many other phones latest years.
When trying to set image by opening wallpaper configurations simple doesn't open or response at all.
I'm pressing it and nothing happens.
I've try clear/data-cache of app not helped at all.
I've try previous version 2.70 nothing.
I've try restart my device and even clear cache partition from recovery menu and nothing.

Well strange things happened.
Downgrade to B10 and worked fine.
Upgrade OTA to B11 and still worked even after resetting my phone.
After that upgrade manually to 7.1.1(B01) and again worked even after resetting the phone.
And now the strange behavior begins.
Upgrade OTA to B02 and not perform hard reset and worked.
BUT when made clear cache partition and reboot the phone and now it's not working.
How can this be happening.
Can you please resetting(clear data) the app and relaunch it and tell me if its working or not.
Something going wrong with B02.
I don't have any other app installed on the device only 500 firepaper.

What exactly does not work? To start the App... ?
Send from ZTE A2017G using Tapatalk
Not exactly.
The app is opening but when trying to open wallpaper configurations through settings of the app simple doesn't open-not response at all.
So in that case I can't set any wallpaper at all either home screen or lock screen.
Btw again downgrade this time to 7.1.1(B01) and made hard reset and setup as new the device.
The only app installed was 500 firepaper and worked fine.
Immediately upgrade OTA to B02 and after that the app stop working.
If go to open wallpaper configurations simple doesn't response.
Something wrong with B02 release by ZTE.
Never had issue with that app all that 2-3 years I'm using it.

As ZTE Germany is the responsible of development and delivering new software version to A2017G device in Europe.

I'm having this same problem on my OnePlus 3.
I dome some digging and found out this problem has to do with the system app livewallpaperpicker, now that is installed, my phone See's the app(firepaper) as installed and when I touch open configuration it actually opens. Hope this helps, I love this wallpaper app also!
The only solution found for now is enabling confirmation from B01 and then upgrade to B02 is working.
I just must not perform any kind hard reset or app clear cache/clear data.
Then I couldn't make it work and I'm afraid of attempting any other solution because I don't want to broke something.
I hope the next update fix this things for G version.
It's really very very bizarre issue and somehow ZTE screw up with latest update.

Root (Magisk or SuperSU, your choice) before rebooting (after update) to avoid TWRP being overwritten with stock recovery.
