I just flashed the version posted in Post #6 above, using TWRP. And it installed fine.
Root (Magisk or SuperSU, your choice) before rebooting (after update) to avoid TWRP being overwritten with stock recovery.

They pulled lollipop down. All I got was another kitkat Ota. I'm looking at the source for lollipop. It is 5.01 which has the memory leaks anyway. I'd like to get the Ota they sent out to pull out the lollipop apps of theirs and merge with 5.1...

Hello,
How to have lollipop update on Yoga tablet 2 ? thanks
I used this method on one yesterday
It didn't go quite as said in the post but the end result worked. None of the adb fasboot drivers worked for me and the script went nuts!. In the end though with drivers from intel and a few deep breaths in, it all came good. The newer version of the tool has a T4 option for lollipop but I'm still on 4.4 so used the T3 option.
Rooted and working fine now.
I'm curious about a linux or Windows boot on it so let me know if you make any progress.
Forgot to add... Mine was on the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.

Yeah, well, the site he picked to host the file is a scam site. Every click brings more pages and never give a chance to download.
Did you capture the OTA file url? Lenovo pulled the OTA from the US. Too many issues. I was hoping to get the OTA file and pull the Lenovo Lollipop apps and try to merge their source with the newest official source....

Hello,
I popped into the Sammobile website today and noticed a new firmware for our beloved Note 10.1 (2013 edition.) The build number is N8013UEUCOI1 and was released on 10/1/2015, but unfortunately it's still on Jellybean 4.1.2. It's a 1.1GB download and looks like it's made for the Americas. I haven't seen any posts about it online. Has anybody tried it out to see what it is? What new changes/improvements there are or if it contains KNOX? I would try it out myself but I'm currently using my Note for work and I can't risk any negative outcomes since I'm in the middle of an important project.
Thanks in advance!

I updated my N8013 to COI1 using Kies with no issue from CMI3 that was rooted. I did need to re-root using method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831152, I used the 2nd method. I didn't wipe any data and haven't seen any issues with apps or Superuser. It does appear to have fixed Stagefright issues but is still vulnerable to CVE-2015-6602, the rest are covered though.

That's not the factory image. You can see the link you posted is OTA, not factory image like you suggest. That's just a direct download link to the OTA that others received after enrolling in the beta program.
Factory image page here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Factory OTA page here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota
The 7.0 image nor OTA has been posted by Google yet.
@chrisnewton, you can update manually, here is the download and installation guide you would need.
I found a BTV-W09C128B003 firmware update on Huawei's site using the firmware finder. My tablet has been rooted and it does not find this version when checking for software updates. I was wondering if anyone has updated their US version of the tablet to this version either through OTA or a manual update and if so, what issues it addressed.
I have a US model BTV-W09 and a build number of BTV-W09C128B002 every time I check for updates using the built in updater it says there aren't any. I am not rooted or unlocked.
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
I've tried the manual update and it just doesn't take it for some reason. I've tried to install it the DLoad method and it says it installs it but the version stays the same(002).
Sent from my BTV-W09 using Tapatalk
I tried the DLoad method, and I am still on 002 as well, but my root was wiped out and I seem to have the factory recovery now instead of TWRP. I did run the factory recovery and now the dpi change is sticking after rebooting like it used to before I messed with the scaling after unlocking the bootloader. I will most likely re-root the tablet tomorrow.
Same experience. I got BTV-W09C100B005, firmware finder found B006, flashed but still B005 showed. Not sure the kernel build date changed or not (says 4th Jan)

Mine updated via OTA today. I'm not rooted, totally stock. No issues so far.
I have TWRP installed. When I tried doing the OTA (B003) today, it rebooted to TWRP, started installing update.zip, then errored out. Not that I was expecting it to work, but FYI...

Method to update huawei devices. One would insert the update.app file in a dload folder on the root of either the internal or external sdcard and press volume up, vol down and power to enter update mode.

Nougat should be coming soon, from what I've read on the chinese beta pages there's an estimate date of it being released somewhere in april I think. The Closed Beta started in the middle January. The current 4.1 is fairly stable, so when Nougat gets released I'm pretty sure the same will come!
Has anybody with an unlocked bootloader and root been able to successfully update? If so, what method did you use?
I have tried both options and the update but it keeps failing. Is there a way i can get the ota recovery back on there? I haven't been able to find it on here to download and install. Right now I have twrp and am rooted.
mine already updated to B003 through OTA about 3 weeks ago, the touch screen issue is basically fixed. Before that, i tried to install the update pack by myself but none of the trial succeeded.
