i recently bought a void sticker off e-bay after accidentally scratching off my old one. So i was wondering if you guys can post some picture of your void sticker ,so ill be able to match it correctly and send it back to warranty.
has anyone ever bought the void stickers off ebay and was able to use it for their warranty?
Yes someone has bought some void stickers before and got their HD2 replaced. Go check out this post and you might want to try to contact member Boradan about howcthey did it. Hope this helps.
is it illegal?

You kidding? It's a lie, and lie is always illegal
If the person never opens the device then replacing the sticker is not illegal

If you do not open this phone you can not damage void stickers, they are damaged only if one attempts to take a screwdriver and open the housing.. It's not illegal but your warranty is gone .
Hi i bought wildfire of ebay from a seller and received it boxed and locked on 3. Seller said he bought it in carphone and sent the receipt. On the box and on the receipt there is the same IMEI number but in the phone there is different IMEI number. As you can see on the photo i provided there is additional sticker on the original one so i assume the original sticker shows correct IMEI number like it is on the phone. But, then why they did additional sticker? I sent message to seller but he said he has no idea.
Anyone knows what is it all about?
The sticker is fake, i can give you 90%.
By the way, u can use barcode reader on the phone and try to scan barcode from the sticker. I wouldn't be surprised if the phone won't read it, because actually the barcode itself is fake!
How about the phone, is it real for sure?
Yeah the phone is 100% genuine...it is in as new condition and i tested everything and it works fine...I will send it back as it is to fishy
Dare i suggest that it may have been stolen

As per thread title, does anyone know where to find it ?
Isn't it on the box? I don't own one yet but on the devices I've bought in the past it's been on a label glued to the end of the box. Maybe it doesn't have it on imported ones though.

I dont have one yet but I did examine the box at the store and it shows no build dates (or I didnt look hard enough), for the other samsung devices its either on the box with the IMEI stickers or at the battery compartment.
The only method that I've been using is typing in the S/N here:

But I dont know how accurate it is.
BUMP, incase anyone knows.
US versions of the Axon 7 come with an ugly sticker on the back (at least those from Newegg) with the device info and "Made in China" written on it.
ZTE aren't going to pull a fast one and try to deny warranty if this sticker is removed are they? It's especially ugly on the gold version of the phone since the sticker doesn't come close to matching it's colour so I'm thinking about heating it up to remove it.
Remove it and stick it on/in the box or on one of the manuals. It's just the IMEI and serial number, both of which can be found in the device settings.
I did because it looks ugly.
I did because it looks like a demo device.
Yup I did. No need for it.

Obviously!!!!
Peeled it and stuck it inside the box.
You do not need it.
The IMEI is still engraved on the bottom. (and the box has a few stickers.)
amazing poll who keeps stickers on sexy devices?
Why wouldn't you? Do you leave the window sticker on a new car? The energy efficiency stickers on your appliances? If your phone's alive entering a key code on the dial pad displays the IMEI bar code. If it's dead you'll have the box with the IMEI number on it and the receipt. Strange question.
i did and put it in the box

Why bother to answer a strange question?
BTW, some people leave it there!
