I'm experiencing problems with phone calls on a 2 week old G6. A lot of times the person in the other end cannot hear me but I can hear him or her.
It seems to work better when I turn the noise reduction off In settings.
To early to tell if this is connected, though.
Any one else experiencing this? Is there something wonky with noise reduction function on the G6?

Yes, the same thing happened to me with the H870. People were complaining about me sounding cut off and inaudible. I turned off noise suppression and all complaints have stopped.

Does anyone else have issues while on calls with a faint buzzing or clicking noise in the earpieces? Mine does it from time to time and it seems as though there's no rhyme or reason for it.
I've noticed it a little in a quiet setting. My Note 2 does it too.
I think it happens when the phone is sending/receiving data packets.

Mine has a faint high pitched noised. Fairly annoying.
Verizon model? Sounds like you are having the same issue that a lot of us on Verizon are: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g2/314167-poor-call-quality-verizon-g2.html
yes its the vzw model. sounds like it's software related to me...
I have my S5 since yesterday and in every call I make I hear a pretty loud hissing sound like there's wind blowing in to the mic on the other side (even though they're not outside). I've tried calling to different phones but the noise is always there.
Is it just my phone or are there more?
Did you enable noise reduction?

Yes it is enabled

second phone call where other party complains they cannot hear me. what's is going on with audio quality of this phone? anybody else experience same issue?
Can you make sure you're not blocking the rear whole above the fingerprint? I think that might be noise-cancelling and if you cover it, it cancels out your voice too. I've experienced it a few times too. Try changing the position of your hand and how you're holding the phone.

No problems, even talking to my father, who is 80 and definitely hard of hearing.
No problems here. I use the phone for calls all day, every day.

This is the best phone I've had in ages as far as call quality and reception go..
Hey,
Have you also a werid noise if you Press your ear near the fingerprint Sensor?
I noticed this today for my x720>>>
Not at all
Not once before but I do hear a slight sound like a CPU fan noise when I press my ear against it just now. I remember this was happening with iPhones too, didn't turn out to be anything bad except they have a mic near it that feeding it into videos. It was coming from the same place where our FP sensor is on them.
It seems to go off when the screen is off... Hmm. Odd.

Yeah maybe, but for me the sound ist a bit scratchy. Perhaps it ist only the Prozessor witch ist making this noise.
Hahaha that voice is so funny :>
Is the optic stabilizator

This phone doesn't have OIS.
I don't hear any noise
I hear a noise when I shake my device. It comes from the camera. Any clues??

Isn't it coil whine? Noticeable on heavy usage of CPU, heard max 5 cm. I hear it too.
Ive detected that sound before. But this time it is when I shake my device it sounds like volume or on/off buttons are moving except it is not the buttons because I'm holding them.

My x722 also has this issue, and the noise is bigger when the phone is under load, do you think it could be a sign of a big defect?
i received my 722 and i CAN HEAR the coil whine
wow the 1st time i can see a coil whine coming from a phone..... i think it is consuming my battery because it does not last so much even in standby whithout sim, without so much apps installed...... and yes i hear it bigger noise when benchmarking in thinks like pcmark or antutu
Just picked up this phone. The first couple calls I would say we're pretty bad as the earpiece speaker was buzzing slightly as the other person was talking. I had it at a normal volume, not overly loud enough to blow the speaker or anything.
Just wanted to know if this was the norm or might I have a defect. Is the sound quality of the earpiece speaker just really bad?

Mine is very good, you probably have a defected device.

My earpiece doesn't sound too good either.
I was reading reviews of the phone and the sound quality from earpiece was described as "harsh" so maybe it's normal.
