Hi there,
For some strange reason when I go to my apps in the android market the list on the left hand side shows all the apps I have on my device, but it says that they are not installed! I have the option to install them again (even though they are installed) but when I press install it just opens the app instead but the list does not change it just still looks like it's not installed.
it's like the market is not recognizing that I have the apps installed. I know it seems very confusing.
Any body else encountered this problem befor?

This.
Randomly happened to me a few days ago. Said my mobile had nothing in it. If you try and install via web browser, it will say this error.
Tried clearing the cache but it's still the same. Tried installing through the browser but it's still the same, I get an error saying app already exists.
lists still show nothing is installed even though they are! lol!
This market really has some strange behaviour :-\

Just fixed it... I had to completely remove my Google account in the settings and set it all back up and re-sync everything.
Thanks for your help

I'm having problems with Play Store, it loads, but then crashes after a few seconds with the unexpectedly stopped message. I'm running stock 4.2.1. I have another user set up, and when logged in as them the play store is fine. I've tried clearing cache & data, uninstalling updates, and rebooting but have had no luck getting it going again.
Does anyone have any other ideas or am I just going to have to do a factory reset?
Try clearing data in Google Services Framework and Playstore then reboot. I had the same problem on a phone and this worked. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

Just tried that, still no good. Guess I'll have to do a factory reset.

Had the same issue after installing Amazon's app store.. Removed it and play store worked as normal again
So I'm running CM10.1 on my N4, running a Baked Blacked Out version of Google Search 2.3.11, and I've run into a very frustrating problem. I accidentally selected my browser for default navigation, and I wish to wipe that setting and change it to Maps. I first tried going into Settings>Apps>All, finding Google Search and wiping both the cache and clearing data. I then did a reboot (to be thorough) but somehow the app is still retaining that default setting for my browser. I have also tried reinstalling Search, as well as clearing defaults for Maps (not that that should be the answer) but still not luck. Anybody have any thoughts or advice? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Did you try to clear the browser cache and data?

Oh wow, epic DUH moment! I have no idea why I was clearing the Maps defaults, I meant to clear the browser defaults. I'm a freaking moron, major brain fart there. Mods, please feel free to delete my dumb thread while I slowly crawl away to Facepalmville

Today my phone has a couple of issues out of the blue.
Google play will not load. It just spins.
I was going to go into app manager and clear the cache and data but it crashes when I try to move to running apps or all apps.
I'm on stock rom, just did the ADB root not full root a couple of days ago. Only installed and setup my Kaiten email pro yesterday. Tried installing the app that shows my purchased google play apps. It would not work so I uninstalled.
I hate to do a factory reset but can't clear any caches. I might just go on and do the full root and wipe cache and Dal.
Any ideas?

Maybe the safe mode described on bottom of this page can help you identifying the issue:
https://t-mobile.jive-mobile.com/#jive-document?content=/api/core/v2/documents/7590
I'm unable to load google play to update an app today. Probably just google play. Good luck with the other issues.
Thanks for the safe mode suggestion. I got settings working again. Now it seems I cannot get internet or any functions through my wireless. I know the wireless is working as I am typing this on a tablet.
This is strange. If I connect to my home 5Ghz or 2.4 I cannot get on the internet. However if use my guest account and put my password in at the web browser, I can connect just fine.
I have forgotten the networks, reentered the passwords and no go. I tried setting up a static ip but it won't let me save the changes. The save button stays grayed out.
Google play now works on the guest account and so does chrome.
I had a similar issue, I deleted play store app data and cache, and let it reupdate itself.

When using Outlook for Android, Gmail, Slickdeals app, etc. and clicking to open a link it crashes with the message "Unfortunately Outlook/Gmail/Slickdeals has stopped." I tried resetting the apps permissions, deleting Chrome, deleting the cache for the apps, deleting and reinstalling the apps, etc. Many users with other phones had similar issues related to System Webview, but that is not enable or removable in Nougat. Does anyone know how to fix this without having to reset the entire thing? This is a stock T-mobile LG V20.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook?
Yes. It happens in other apps as well like Twitter, Gmail, Slickdeals, etc.

I got the same issue. Cleared cache, dalvic done everything I can think off and nothing. This started like 2 weeks ago on Moto X Pure. Don't want to factory reset so I'll try to see what else I can come up with to fix the issue.
I figured out the issue. I didn't update an app called 3c Toolbox and that was causing the problem. I updated the app and I don't get crashes anymore. Maybe it was the battery module or any other setting I had in the app messing stuff up.
