My Moto G4 randomly turns off (no warning at all). when i try to boot it up again it says that it has a low battery. when i wait a bit it will boot up prefectly fine and does not have a low battery. Recently my phone has fallen on grass from maybe 3 meters, maybe my battery got loose? (i have a (TPU) case on my phone) i hope i can fix this. any help will be appreciated!

LG G2 Low Battery Temp

Hello,
Unfortunately I do not have any pictures to show the issue so I will try to explain the problem as best I can.
I recently replaced the screen and bezel on a LG G2 (D802) Moving everything accross from one bezel to the other went fine with the only difficulty I had was removing the battry from the old bezel (The battery got a little bent, but nothing major).
After putting everything back together in the new bezel/screen I started getting a strange issue. The phone refused to turn on and if I plugged the charger in it would show me a battery symbol with a thermometer in a yellow triangle. After a few minutes it would then turn on.
When the phone is on, it will charge and work perfectly fine until the phone is turned off next.
Looking online I have read that after changing a screen on this particular phone some people have reported that the battery reports its temperature being -30c.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this issue, and if it is the battery temperature sensor, where is this located?
Have you been able to fix thi problem? i am having the same issue after changing my screen
I'm having the same issue. sometimes when i'm getting the -30 temp issue, I'd literally bang the phone a few times and it would correct itself. while showing -30 temp it would not charge... with the charger connected, it would remain at the same battery level.
I'd appreciate if someone would find a way to hack the charging function not to look at battery temperature as i'm sure it does. I think this is something that runs deep within the device - not a simple OS parameter since the device wouldn't even boot up if it's "too cold".
not sure what i have to replace to fix this issue. I never removed the battery, the issue started after I changed the screen myself (kept the same chassis)

LG G6 Green screen of dead , and Bootloop when charging , HELP!!!

Hello
I heard of bootloops from G4 , G5 ang V20 , but not from G6!!
i have done nothing special, not rooted the G6 or anything like this , just put my backup from my note 4 on to it, that's all,
was working fine for more then a day , it was on a charger when this happend ,
now it only goes in to loop when it is on a charger or green screen when it is not on a charger,
when i push on the down volume it goes off and back in the green screen,
what can i do to get it working again???
edit
Now it is gone completely dead ,
it became quit warm and now the battery is drained it is not charging anymore ,
can't get any light out of it, no screens or nothing
so i suspect it is a hardware fault??
You could try hard reset. Turn the phone off then turn it on by holding power button+volume down at the same time until you see the menu.
Factory reset.
That does sound like a hardware fault. If your phone was charging and the temperature sensor failed, it might have exceeded safe temps and cause the same bootloop issues as before (the heat from the processor was causing solder to come loose).
Either way, that's most definitely covered by warranty, you should try to get it exchanged.

Phone randomly shutting down after a fall.

Hey!
So i was testing some VR stuff, while i let my phone fall of my lap. At first i tought it was dead since it shown a red light, but after opening it and reconnecting the battery, i saw it was all OK.
Problem is, since that fall, it randomly shuts down, if i place it on a charger, it gives me a red LED light (which indicates that the phone has 0% or really low battery), however, when i manage to turn it on (which is sometimes), i can see its all OK, sensors are working, camera is OK, just the date that screws up (Gets back to January 1st, 1979)
Is this a problem with the battery or do you guys think something on the board is mis-connected now? What can i do before i take it to someone else?
No, replacement is not an option since aside from the random shutdowns, the phone is still working perfectly.

Moto G4 sudden death

Hi, I have a Moto G4 XT1621 bought almost 6 months ago. Never had any type of problem, but two days ago I woke up, saw the hour just fine, and five minutes later I grabbed it to check notifications, and it was dead. The only sign of life the phone gave me was the blinking of the charging LED and the phone vibrating randomly when I pressed the power button. That night, the phone turned on, but the screen was always black, no backlight. I heard the boot up animation sound (the classic "HELLO MOTO!!!"), but the screen wasn't turning on.
Thinking it was a software failure, I've flashed the stock rom via fastboot (the phone connects in bootloader mode, but I can't see the bootloader screen), but the problem was the same: I can hear the boot up sound, and if right after the phone boots up I press the power button, I can hear the lock sound about 5 or 6 times, but apparently it turns off itself.
Sometimes, it can't boot properly; the boot up sound is cut before it ends, mainly in "HELLO MO...".
I really need help, I've tried everything: leave it charging for hours, tried a major amperage charger, pressing the power button + vol down for 2, 3 and for 5 minutes, disassembling it and reconnecting the battery, tried to turn it on without the battery, flash stock ROM, all kinds of wipes, etc.
The phone hasn't suffered from water damage, I didn't dropped it or anything like that. The screen connections nor the motherboard connectors does not presents any damage.
Any help is welcome .
PD: Sorry for any misspelling, english isn't my main language :silly:.
Could have been the screen or the GPU

It seems weird because the phone didn't have any issues, it just turned off and bye bye. I'm running out of options
Edit: needless to say that the phone don't stay that much powered on (5 seconds aprox. for the sound that the lock screen do), so I don't think this is a screen problem. If it was a screen failure, the phone will stay on.
Bad/good news?
Almost five minutes ago, I noticed that the screen on the phone is on, but slightly visible, almost impossible to see: you have to be in a fully darked room, and its backlight it's on, but it shows no sign of letters on the bootloader or boot animation whatsoever, it's just backlight.
Any ideas of what could it be? I'm almost decided that I need a screen replacement, but any ideas will be welcomed.

is my P10 plus dead?

Hello everyone,
i recently acquired a used P10 plus almost for nothing.
the guy i bought it from said it fell on a carpet and it wont turn on anymore.
the symptoms were:
*black screen
*red led blinking (first 3 fast blinks, later only 1 every couple of seconds)
So i thought to myself, probably battery issues from the fall, maybe it disconnected somehow.
I disassembled the phone, reconnected every cable, but still same symptoms.
i read somewhere that red led usually means battery dead or the small charging motherboard (?) is broken. So i ordered both from Aliexpress and installed them today, but still the same issue.
i connected the phone on the charger without the battery, the screen came on (but it seems its broken also - only vertical lines and a crack, lol).
Any ideas?
should i order a new screen and try to fix it or should i give up? (i read somewhere that people couldn't power up their phone after screen replacement)
thank you guys in advance!
well, i guess ill just give up.
i was hoping for an idea of what to do, but nothing.
a shame really, i was hoping to get it back to work again.
cheers!
