You were suppose to go into my tmobile and login in there...then choose upgrade phone on the line that you wanted to upgrade. It will give you options and you would choose the phone number that has to be upgraded. Otherwise, you may have just added another line. Call them and confirm your status on this order.

The lady i talked to told me.. cause i added another line back in JULY thats the fee im seeing... but all my stuff looks correct she said..
what is the deal about getting them in stores on release day? I don't want to wait for shipping time. I don't think they've ever done pre orders before, at least I don't fermenter it for the note 2 or 3. I'm thinking stock will be low. what do you guys think?

I did. I choose UPGRADE. I don't know what the $10 add a line is about. I didn't choose any new number. This is weird.

Hey thanks for the tip. Just placed my Jump upgrade from the HTC M8 to the Note 4. Now what to do with the OnePlus I've been using instead of the M8 for the last couple of months.... Ah, I'll replace the wifes Note 3 with the OnePlus... That'll do it.

The online pre-order delivery is scheduled to start on Oct 17. I checked in the store, and was told they will have it there on Oct 10. Anyone else got similar info?

Apparently the T-Mobile website doesn't want me to use my Jump upgrade with the pre-order because it's giving me all kinds of issues. Might just have to stop by my local T-Mobile store @ lunch to put it on pre-order.
I'm waiting to get my on launch day for 2 reasons. #1 not sure if I want black or white. #2 every time I pre order I run into some type of issue. I don't think stock will be low. Not many people want such a "big" device

I didnt get any tracking number. I order at 9 AM EST.
Its been a while since ive been on XDA. just preordered by Note 4 Charcoal today from TMo. Website said it would ship around 10-15-14. Received an order text saying i should received my Note 4 on Friday 10-3-14 which is 7 business days after order! Ive been rocking a nexus 5 since jan. Nothing else has caught my eye until now.
Preordered my Note 4 in local store, no exact delivery date they said 4 to 7 bus days from today.

I pre ordered mine yesterday morning at my local Tmobile
store and paid the full price but I did not get an email from
tmobile with ups tracking number, the only email I got was
a more or less "thank you for your purchase" and so on.
hmm.........
I am in california if that means anything.

I'm so glad I got rid of this epic failure of a phone! Unfortunately I decided to keep my wife's Note 7 so I now have to go through the whole [email protected] return process all over again..
I'm jumping ship. I can't keep going from device to device. I tinker way too damn much.
I need a device that I can root, hack hotspot and live with. I'll find it somewhere.
Sprint choices are slim.
Still have my original Note 7 (not replaced). Staying with it for now til I figure out what I want. Going to press Sprint hard to allow me to upgrade once a comperable phone comes out. Been with them for 17 years, so if they wont let me upgrade theyre losing a long time customer. Probably going to get an S7e, just really pissed about it.

wait until Oct 20 when the Google Pixel is out. I saw rumors it might work on Sprint network :good:
Went back to my Note 5. Returned Note 7 at corporate store already. The return actually went pretty smooth.
From what I hear there won't be a replacement. If there was I would keep my replacement one till they fixed the problem even if it was 2-3 months down the road. If I thought they wouldn't send a kill switch down and would actually support the phone with software upgrades I wouldn't even care and keep this one, but I have no use for a phone I can't get accessories or support for.
'my phone is running fine'.......I'm sure the one's that caught fire were running fine up to that point too. Just something to think about.

I have a pixel c and after playing with it for a while I don't know if I would go the pixel route for a phone or not. Spec wise it's great and it works fairly well but it's just boring. It's neat but it isn't even in the same league as the N7. The phone could be better or it could be the same. Who knows?
I did see the pixel was being built by hTC though and I decided a long time ago that I didn't like the direction HTC was headed as a company and stopped buying their products.

So I had the first note 7 that got recalled I bought offline from someone, not directly thru sprint. Not one Sprint store would exchange it for the revised version before so I had to call telesales with sprint and they mailed me a replacement. Well now after 4 days of having it, they made the 2nd recall. Will a Corp sprint store take my replacement phone back for a refund or exchange for another phone? Or am I stuck with the revised note 7? I'm not having any problems with mine but I'm sure this phone isn't going to get anymore software updates or support since the recall

They should exchange your phone or refund.
To those of you who choose to keep the phone, realize that you'll be the only one liable for any damages now that the phone has been recalled - even if it causes your house to burn down with your family inside.
Even worse, if you ignore the warnings and your phone burns someone else's house down, they'll also have nobody to blame (and sue) but you.

I'm going to go pick mine up now. Had the manager hold the silver one for me as there was only one left. I don't know why they're there early, but I thought I'd call just in case, and indeed they have them 5 days early!
I called 4 of my stores today, all of them said they have no idea when they will be getting them in.... did you indeed pick it up from the store?
Why not just order it from the Verizon website.
I ordered mine Thursday night. Received it Friday. Just activated it a few hours ago and been playing with it a little. Love the phone so far.

I called my local store to see if they had stock and was told yes. I proceeded to unroot and relock my bootloader on my Nexus 6 to have it ready for swap (payment plan upgrade). Got my two kids in the car and headed to the store. Got there and they have no idea what I'm talking about but after some prompting decided to check their inventory. They say they have 6 in Titan but then the store manager can't find them, and basically tell me to go order it online as it won't be in store till the 25th and they couldn't sell me one anyways if they did have stock. I really just wanted to see and feel the phone, everything else I'm sold on. But the attitude I got when we are talking about hundreds of dollars worth of hardware and service, really astounds me. Anyway the moral of the story is YMMV as far as getting a v20 in store before the 25th. Smh I wanted silver anyways.....
it's a verizon store, what did you expect? everytime i goto corporate stores, they're all ignorant a**holes. i hate corporate verizon. i used to run an authorized retailer, and people would constantly tell us nightmare stories of corporate stores, and all i would do is agree, because i felt the same way. they're idiots, and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Long story short: I had a temp phone (V10) and couldn't get V20 until V10 was returned. So online wasn't an option for me.

That sucks. I got lucky I guess. I'm thrilled too - this is by far the best phone I've ever used (including the Note 7 which I had for a month).
Its funny, now that I had to go back to stock, I decided to flash a Nuget ROM and now I'm not sure if I want to upgrade, my n6 still really holds its on with new software.
My Verizon zone (authorized retailer) said not until Friday. After reading this, I think I'm gonna call every day lol.

Ended up ordering after the cut off to have it shipped Saturday but I got my tracking info this morning and gets here tomorrow. Really looking forward to ths phone, I had to return my Note 7 and Samsung still shipped my my 256GB SD card for Free.

Same thing with me, but I got the s7 edge after my Note 7. Man, s7 edge software felt so half-baked compared to the Note 7. Also, the Note 7 curved back makes a huge difference when you hold the phone. I am returning my s7 edge and getting my v20 on wednesday and using my 256gb samsung card.
Quick question for those of you that got yours through verizon. Does it come with a factory screen protector? I'll be getting mine tomorrow and I have a case for it, but I couldn't seem to find a screen protector that was worth a damn. I really don't want to go naked until I find one if I can help it.

Yes it comes with a screen protector that can be used. Just has a small pull tab on it.
Yeah, its a cheap plastic screen protector. I'll keep it on till it bubbles up or starts to peal off.
Even though I hit the cancel button yesterday right away after placing my orders they did not get cancelled. Just a heads up the website is not working properly as the FAQ section mentions if the cancel button is present the order can be cancelled. I called and was informed it is a known website issue.

Nope sorry we have to do it the hard way and RTS and wait it out.
I cancelled my first order after 2 minutes, and within 10 minutes it showed refunded as status. Just my 2 cents, good luck!

Very uninspiring physically, i was really hoping for an infinity display. But I really wanted an 835 based phone with AOSP and this is the first one so I jumped. I plan to check out the pixel 2 and the essential phone at the end of the year to see if either of them are worth it. The battery life is great, performance is great, vibration motor and camera better than the 3t. Overall I'm happy, for 500 its a steal. I sold my 3t for 440 last week so it was a no brainer

Saying the camera is better is not saying much. It would be hard for the camera to be worse. I love the 3T but seriously that camera is the only thing holding it back.

Its not pixel or nexus 6p quality, I never owned a pixel but the 6p had the best camera I've ever used, mostly due to the auto hdr software IMO. I agree the 3t's camera was total crap, but this one is at least passable. I'll have to mess around with it more to comment further but the few times i've used it didn't blow me away.

Wow I guess you missed the part about calling and getting told they can't cancel orders?
So I started seeing a little bit of burn-in on my device over the weekend so on Saturday I decided to call Verizon and take advantage of Google's warranty. Once I told tech support I saw burn-in he immediately confirmed my address and let me know a brand new 2 XL replacement would be there by Tuesday at the latest. (would've been overnight delivery if it weren't Saturday) Well I got my device today and low and behold, THEY SENT ME A STOCK GOOGLE VERSION! Not the Verizon version, so, MY BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED!
This is why I'm saying "potential" great news, I cannot guarantee this will be the case for everyone but I'm kinda feeling like since this is a device defect on Google's end Verizon gets their surplus replacements from Google themself, meaning there is a high chance all replacement devices, at least for the time being, will be basically the same unlocked version you buy directly from the Google Store.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

Nice, I was super happy when I saw this since I didn't realize Verizon were going to be idiots and lock down the bootloader. I didn't get the original Pixel XL because I only upgrade every two years and every other Nexus device I've owned through Verizon still had an unlock option for the bootloader in the developer options so I assumed this one would be no different.
I just sent mine in for same reason, they tried to send me to Verizon but I wouldn't let them. Phones on it's way to Google, hopefully I get Google version back instead of Verizon one

Why did you send your phone in first? You make them send you a device so you can transfer your data and then send it back. I still have my other XL 2. When I called Verizon I told them I want my new device first and they said that would be fine.

Google required it, Verizon was gonna send one first all u had to do was pay taxes and then get them back when they received phone.
I didn't wanna chance getting a locked bootloader from Verizon, I want a Google one

Dude, there is no payment needed at all to replace your phone through Verizon. I called them, told them I had burn-in, they setup a new phone to be overnight delivered and I got it today. That was it. I don't know who you talked to but there is no taxes required on getting a replacement due to a factory defect.

Well if it's coming from Google you have a good chance of getting an unlocked version.

Um, no reason you have to send your device in. Whoever you talked to at Verizon is a moron. I called Verizon tech support and he told me there would be a package along with my replacement to send my defective device back in once I received the replacement. That way I am able to transfer my data. I'd suggest calling Verizon back.

The thing that sucks is I gotta send my pixel 2 xl first and once they receive it Google will send me a brand new 1...sucks but I'm gonna do it...just sucks I'll have to use an old Motorola Z Droid Play lol and I'm going to NYC for vacation next week and won't have my pretty Pixel 2 XL once I send it in

I was told the same thing. I put mine I mail yesterday like they said and I woke up to email saying my rma shipped and would be here Thurs. You should be good if you act quickly

I called Verizon tech support and he told me there would be a package along with my replacement to send my defective device back in once I received the replacement. That way I am able to transfer my data. I'd suggest calling Verizon back.

I purchased my device through Verizon, I've specified this multiple times by saying I called Verizon for my replacement.

This is why I'm saying "potential" great news, I cannot guarantee this will be the case for everyone but I'm kinda feeling like since this is a device defect on Google's end Verizon gets their surplus replacements from Google themself, meaning there is a high chance all replacement devices, at least for the time being, will be basically the same unlocked version you buy directly from the Google Store.

Wherever Verizon gets their devices from. Like I said, I'm thinking they might be getting their 2 XL's straight from Google because of the issues so that Google is able to oversee damage control. I don't know for sure though. All I know is I purchased my original device through Verizon and talked to a Verizon tech rep to get my replacement. The replacement I received was unlocked.
