I have a Huawei P9 lite. (VNS-L31 dual sim) . I tried to install medrom 3 and after flashing, phone didn't boot up. So I flashed b161 firmware again using 3 button method and phone booted up. Then I realized I couldn't add my google account. After searching on xda I found a method to fix that.(flashing oem info ). But after doing that, when the phone boots up after the huawei logo the error message which says "your device has been unlocked" has become red.( Usually it's yellow). And in about phone my model number has been changed to something like hi6250 or hi650.( Can't remember the exact thing). Then I tried to reflash my b161 firmware using 3 button menu and voila. It says incompatible version. I can't flash it. Then I replaced my build prop with my friend's phone's build prop. But unfortunately it has the B151 version. Though I have B161 version installed, my about phone says it has B151 version. And I can't flash stock firmware using twrp or dload method od any how. Please help

That's normal if the message is red, it means that the bootloader Will be relocked.
Now for the build prop, download b161 version, use huawei firmware extractor , extract boot.img system.img and cust.img
And by fastboot type :
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot reboot
And voila, b161 is installed in your phone !

If fastboot say "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)", its because your bootlaoder is locked, reunlock it !
In TWRP it says unable to mount Data :/

fastboot oem unlock XXXXXX
fastboot flash recovery recovery_stock.img
Unable to read/mount data says your encryption key got changed by something, whatever. You need to Wipe Internal storage and flash twrp again ( I recomment matic`s ) Reboot to recovery again, if you got one, flash a flashable fw via twrp. I Dont know if the stock recovery Accepts a fully wiped intern storage, i guess not and it declines the update.app method.
In the best case for sure you recover an older backup to get the Same enc. Key back

Try to hold Vol+ and the power button and if you enter in Huawei recovery, select wipe data / Factory reset

I'd recommend using SP Flash tool. It's saved my ass multiple times.
Where you got the Scatter File for the p9 lite

Hay guys,
i had Beanstalk installed on my P9 Lite, then I wanted to test Stock MM Beta, in the flashing process the phone gave me an error and now I think it is fully bricked.
I cant enter dload or erecovery & when I try to flash system.img (extracted from stock b161) it says 'sparse flash write failure', if i try to flash cust.img it says ' partition error '
I already tried to boot into an costum recovery (revolution, twrp medicolous & nougat) but it ends all up in 'Your phone is booting now...'
Could you guys please help me?
The Walking P9 Lite Dead..
For fast unbricking use DC Phoenix (You need pay 15$ to D Unlocker for use there APP but IS 100% confirmed).

Test another update.app from tour original model
Now everything was succesfull with B161, but I´m still in bootloop, i tried to update via dload but its stuck at 5% and boots again after a few minutes..
Try factory reset & wipe cach from recovery and it will boot normal
Mine would fail at 5% in dload. Is your phone fully charged? It fails if not.
I flashed b161 in DC Phoenix, then let it boot to erecovery, left it charging overnight. Next morning dload flash of b161 worked up to 99% then failed. Then I tried again. 100% and boot.

With the app Chamelephon you can set the IMEI again with root access, you can find the IMEI on the original phone box.
The problem is that im unable to root my p9 lite, because bootloader is locked and i need IMEI to unlock the bootloader ..
wiped the data and system partition before flashing ?
you dont need imei, you need the code, if you have the code i think you can unlock the bootloader

I was able to unlock bootloader and flashed cm13 ..
But if insert my SIM card a grey screen popt up saying 'Insert SIM Code NCK' or so..
I closed bootloader & flashed Stock Rom via dload:
Now I will send it to Huawei
I think you change imei via pc program
I remembered this... And the imei is in the box of the phone (i'm not english, I don't know if BOX OF THE PHONE is fully correct ahah)
I hope I,m posting in the correct section
I really searched deeply into the threads but after 19 hours of trials I'm hands down.
My wife's honor 8 lite suddenly rebooted and bootlooped ...no update no root ..
I couldn't enter the bootloader (power, volume+ ..) th phone keeps restarting in a bootloop
Fastboot works but the phone is locked and Frp locked
installed all the drivers on windows and tried fastboot flash boo.img, reovery.imd, system .... even update.zip but nothing works
(command not allowed) I guess because the phone is locked
tried also to fastboot oem unblock *serial number* (from huawei website) but I get the same message (command not allowed)
I copied the stock firmware in dload folder of the sdcard and used power +volupe up+ volume down and doesn't work (many trials), the phone just keeps restarting ...
I would like to know if there's something I dind't try yet? Can I unbrick it in a way or another?
thank you in advance
you can unbrick it using DC-Phoenix software... it's a paid service and will cost you 15 EUR

Hello,
My Huawei P10 lite Single Card (WAS-LX1A) bricked after i tried to Update from 8.0 to 8.1,
now it just boots to fastboot and i cant Flash anything.
(Idk why but somehow it just boots fastboot when its connected to the pc and i have to change the cable in fastboot since the one i boot it with doesnt detect fastboot, and the cable works with fastboot doesnt boot it up.)
When i try to install an recovery it works, but when i try to boot my phone it just gives me the error screen, trying to install anything else just gives me the following Errors:
"Partition length error" or
"command not allowed" Bootloader is unlocked.
Please help me
not even the "dload" method works since this one isnt starting too.
dload won't work since you have upgraded to EMUI 8 and you can only use B181 to dload install, which is EMUI 5.1. Try HwOTA8 to downgrade to Android 7:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-lite/development/hwota-huawei-p10-lite-t3776186
Use the guide in the post.
But before that, in bootloader under "bootloader unlocked", you have to check if there is "frp lock" or "frp unlock". If it's lock, you can't flash anything and you have to unlock it. If you have frp lock, write here and I will try to find a zip file I've seen in the forum for frp unlocking.
Also, can you tell me which ROM you tried to flash? I didn't know there is Android 8.1 for this phone, can you send me a link?

Both unlocked but i tried to install EMUI 8.1 (8.0 worked tho) i got 8.1 on xda just like i did with 8.0
not exactly which…
but could it be that the cable Transfers files wrong? its a bit damaged
it
(when i try to Flash a recovery as example)
I don't know, try another cable if you have at home, if still not working try if HwOTA8 can flash the required recoveries.

any one help me my phone cant inter to twrp (remote: partition length get error) ) or erecovery and cant update with dload sdcard and cant flash it with fastboot and stay at dead screan and reboot
plz help me
The 1st thing you will need to do on any locked device is to unlock the Bootloader before you continue.
To unlock Bootloader you will need to use any of the Huawei paid services in order to do so.
Several are available for that and will need to check for that online.
now i unlocked my dvice and
i flhashed it with this method after they dead
and i flash twrp
and i flash oeminfo-p10lite-Emui 8 C432.rar with twrp
and now i download th full ota firmware but still cant flash it whith hwota method thay tell me chen they copied the updat fille that have no more space can you halp me plz
Try different Firmware. Sometimes there is a problem with that. Try to search for others that are good as well.
