Flash Factory Image of lower os to bypass frp? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently received a Nexus 6P purchased through eBay that is FRP. I've contacted the seller to no avail to resolve the issue and have done research online for other frp bypass but was thinking, would flashing the factory image of an older os(currently on 7.1.2) reset the device completely to the point where I'd be able to setup my google account on this device?

Contact me on WhatsApp +4917679770581. Or Telegram under the username vortex_gamerz. I will help you to get through the FRP Lock (Bypass)

I'm pretty sure both yours and the original post violate the terms of this forum.
Bypassing FRP and discussing it violates the terms because the phone can be stolen.

Doesn't eBay have buyer protection? The fact the the previous owner didn't remove FRP would indicate that the phone is probably stolen. Even if you unlock it, there is a possibility that the device is blacklisted. Contact eBay.

I believe that FRP bypass discussing and actually resolving must be legitimate for several reasons.
First of all, I don't think that eBay allows to sell stolen goods. Secondly, I'm dealing with insurance companies and sellers who are re-selling broken insurance write-off or simply badly damaged phones. I can assure that 99.5% of Android users don't know how / why to remove / untether their broken phones from Google account. Or simply having a new phone, they just don't bothered with "old" broken one or just lazy. Other 0.5% of Android users know about FRP issue but believe that once the phone is smashed / broken, there is nothing can be done (FRP lock can't be removed anymore). This is a sad truth.

Any way to unlock yet?

Without using a paid for service? I bought a phone from ebay, seller claimed it was unlocked, guess what - it isn't . Seller won't co-operate in obtaining the unlock code from T Mobile (UK).
Is there any way it can be unlocked without me having to resort to unlock-tmobileg1.com?
There was a thread I recall that had instructions on how to unlock it for free... basically what you need to do is call T-Mobile and just ask for the unlock code. By law they have to give it to you for free (USA law, that is) so just use the excuse that you're going out of the country and do not want to have excess charges from it or something.
Edit: found it!

I believe that thread's author was telling people if they don't have T-Mobile or something, PM him asking about it and he should help you through the details. You probably have to PM him your IMEI as well, but don't take my word on it because I haven't tried it.
Don't pay for something that should be free!

Will buy Nexus s (tmobile)

will buy broken or water damaged nexus s PM me with your price
We have a marketplace for this sort of thing....
You have already been informed of this. DO NOT post this sort of thing in device specific forums.

Are these stores on ebay that claim to fix bad imei's legit?

I came across someone locally who got burned on craigslist with an Att Galaxy S5. It worked fine then shortly after is was blacklisted so I got it for cheap from them just trying to get any of their money back. I have seen several listings on ebay claiming they can give you a good imei. Does anyone here have experience with this?

This topic is very frowned upon around here, and many people erranously believe it is illegal. That being said, there is one guy in new York who was a pretty good feedback from it. I had my wife's Note 3 done locally and it is possible but can depend on the phone. I'll look for the eBay guy I saw and pm it to you if I can. Be ready for this thread to be shut down quite soon though.

And because people are sure to come here upset about this, here's a bit of info showing that it is not yet illegal in the states, unless of course Senate is trying to pass a bill trying to make a law to cover something already illegal.

And again, the Congress site showing the bill as introduced, but not approved or passed into law. Therefore completely legal at this stage. https://www.congress.gov/bill/113th-congress/senate-bill/1070

Please help me. I broke my phone.

I recently broke one of the sim contact pins on my moto g4 xt1625 sim card reader holder now my phone won't read the sim I need help on where to buy a new sim card reader holder, i searched everywhere and I can not find a place to buy.
contact motorola for a repair provided the device isnt bootloader unlocked
.
they will likely do a free repair if its in warranty.
motorola support chat post:
daniel: oh one question
daniel: so i can give a proper responce to some one asking about a hardware issue
daniel: if they some how damaged the sim slot they should contact you and request warrany repair.
SaiKiran: Okay.
daniel: provided they didnt void their warranty
daniel: by unlocking bootloader or other actions
SaiKiran: I would like to inform you that if there is any physical or liquid damages to the device and requested a repair to the device to get the issue fixed,The warranty will not be covered.
daniel: but i assume motorola would still likely be the cheapest route
SaiKiran: The warranty will be covered only if there are no physical or liquid damages.
daniel: the person said they some how broke a pin in the sim slot
daniel: wich would be hard if not impossable to do
daniel: on purpose
daniel: though if they had the dual sim that woiuldnt be a real issue
SaiKiran: In that case,I suggest you to send the device for repair.
After requesting the repair to the device, Our repair department will examine the device and they let you know the exact issue with the device.

Need help bypassing FRP on an ONN tablet.

This will be my first time posting on any forum, so forgive anything that I do wrong.
I recently purchased an onn 100005207 from a thrift store, and after using the boot menu to wipe the data, I was met by an FRP lock. For the past few hours, I have tried countless methods to bypass it, and none of them have worked. I can offer more information if needed.
Give proof of purchase to the manufacturer of the tab or ask the thrift guy about the person who sold it. The device could be stolen because it was dirty erased.

I would try that, but the thrift store doesn't offer a detailed receipt, so I doubt it would suffice as proof of purchase. The second problem would be that donations at this specific thrift store are anonymous. I will still attempt to contact Walmart to see if they can do anything.
Well you should try contact the manufacturer or smth like that.

Discussing bypassing FRP would help thieves all over the world make use of stolen devices, and who would want to take that kind of risk?
You need to return the tablet to the thrift store for your money back, or if you cannot, then you can use it as a practice device for electronics repair, and consider it a lesson learned to thoroughly check devices before you purchase them from a place where returns may be difficult.
Thats exactly why I cant help you
I may or may not know how to do it but I cant assist you in getting into a possible stolen phone.
Try give it into the police and tell them that ypu think it is stolen.
They will investigate further.

By dirty erased, I assume you're talking about recovery mode?
