Somebody somewhere created a Mi account on the device. It isn't possible to receive that message unless there was an account on the device.
Here's what you have to do: Take your phone together with proof of purchase to the nearest service center. Explain what happened and show them your receipt.

[Q] My Note 4 was stolen

My Note 4 was stolen but it had my Samsung account so I rapidly entered "find my phone" website and locked it was a message on it
My Question is Is this an imei lock or the Thief can just avoid it by flashing a firmware or ROM or wipe system with custom recovery
If reactivation lock was enabled they can't flash any new firmware AFAIK
I didn't get u right
I put a pin code and I didn't disable but I don't know If there was other methods the thief can use to enable it
The problem is he turned off the phone after that and along a whole week every time I entered "find my phone" website it give me that the connection is off the thief called me and blackmailed me for a pin and money "very stupid " so obvious he didn't disable the lock but The website still gives me that connection is off and I'm afraid if he can flash another rom or wipe the system and the lock from recovery and uses the phone again while I go to the website and I see the "off" sign

Sorry for your loss,Pin code is for lock screen only & it want stop person to flash & use, so if you have not enabled reactivation in settings by this time he must be using your phone.
no no not that pin code , I mean this remotely lock ( it just includes pin lock )
http://s21.postimg.org/6ib3078fr/image.png
but I don't remember If I activated Reactivation lock or not
I'm sorry for what happened.
Some questions that may help us to help you:
1. When you use Find My Phone, can you locate the phone on the map or does it appear offline (meaning it's switched off)?
2. Do you think it was stolen or could it be that you left it or dropped it somewhere? I'm asking because if that's the case, there's a higher chance that the person who finds will return it to you.
3. Have you set up the options shown in the screenshot you posted? Have you set a message to display on the screen, saying that this phone was stolen and to contact you? You can also set a number the phone will be allowed to make calls to so if someone has your phone and wants to return it to you, they can contact you.
1 - yes after few minutes from the theft I could locate it
2- no unfortunately it was stolen
3- Yes I have set up these option with a message and my number and pin lock
Then I suppose all you could do is wait to see if anyone will contact you. Can you still locate it?
no I can't locate it
I didn't know if I checked Reactivation lock option but with my condition can the thief avoid the lock simply by flashing another rom
I think if you haven't checked Reactivation lock, then yes, they can flash another ROM, sorry.
If they do a hard reset on phone it will wipe everything and they can use your phone if it was unlocked if not call your carrier to have imei blocked

Bootloop what to do!!??

Hello,
I've tried to update my huawei p8 lite ALE-L21 to B525 but it failed and since then i'm in a bootloop which i can't get out of. I've tried already anything but nothing works.
I wanted to get the bootloader unlock request. But I can't get my product ID because my phone doesn't work. I allready send a message to huawei about this
Does any-one have any ideas to get out of this bootloop?? I hope so....
You might be able to get your product id from the box of your phone.
Then unlock the bootloader en fastboot flash the rom on it.
You also tried to put the rom on a sd card and boot through volume up + down?
I've tried al that and nothing works.

Did you get the bootloader unlocked?
Otherwise try this to unlock it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63L7FBuWFrc
No not yet, because I can't get logged in on my Huawei ID on my phone and I can't get to my product ID because the phone is in an loop. And after many many e-mails to Huawei China they said I had to send the device to a sevice center. I've contacted Huawei Netherlands and they will try to get the unlock code from headquarters. I hope they will manage to get the code. So if I have the code I will certainly try this. Thanks

EpicBas has linked tutorial . No need your phone product id, it will be generated by software.
I've tried that also but unfortunately no luck. I send my phone to Huawe repair services. And they fixed it with no costs. Great service from Huawei!!!

Stuck with locked bootloader

Hi. I've just upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0 nougat (badwolf), but my bootloader relocked again (somehow). My phone is working fine so far (no camera problems etc.) and i've noticed there is already way to root nougat. So, how can i do that when my bootloader is locked once again?! I've tried to unlock it via Huawei's normal and chinese as well site, but it doesn't give me any code, it gives an error.. (I'm writing my serial number from the box, imei and other stuff) The only thing which it has to be taken from the phone is Product ID, which i think is the main reason for this big problem.. I'm stuck, i can't downgrade (If i want to), can't install recovery, can't root my phone without this sh*t.. Help?!
You do not have the code used for initial unlock?
Is same code... I unlock my bootloader for more then 10 times and i use same code...

Nope, i totally forgot to do that
These are the requirements for another bootloader code:
Dear User,
Huawei Customer Service is pleased to be at your service, sorry for bringing you the trouble, if you want to unlock your phone, you should meet the condition as follows:
1.Please register your Huawei ID in our official website http://huawei.com/en/ on your PC.
2.Log in your Huawei ID on your phone for 14 consecutive days.
3.Each Huawei ID should not apply for the unlock code more than twice within half years.
If you meet the conditions, please go to http://emui.huawei.com/en/ and click the 'download' button, then click 'unlock bootloader' button to login your Huawei ID other than any other third party ID to apply for the unlock code. Please contact us by mail or local service hotline as follows if error message appears.
TEL: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=hotline
Mail: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=email
Please submit your mobile model, S/N, IMEI/MEID and error message in your e-mail. We also need to know that your phone is rooted, it can be out of the best working state and part of functions may not be able to work normally. In addition, the system is vulnerable to be invaded by viruses once your phone is permitted to unlock. What's more, for the lacking of fully tested, the third party software will not be compatible with your phone. Unlocking will bring unexpected negative impacts and the device will be not normal, and can not be restored, Huawei after-sales service office will not provide warranty service for your rooted phone, and you may bear the cost. So we strongly advise you to think it twice.
If you have any other problem, please send your feedback to us. We will be at your service to help you solve your problems.
Once again thank you for contacting Huawei device.
Best Regards.

Yup.. so i have to wait 12 more days ;/
I had the same problem, but my email/number phone were europeans so it wasn't possible.
I deleted my account and i made a new one from the chinese site (using hong kong as state) so i put the new account into the phone and requested the code, without waiting 14 days

Eh, cool I'll try the same later.
Same issue. Created new account (HW ID) and same error: Please make sure the verification code and model number are correct. If your device has multiple IMEIs or MEIDs, please try another IMEI or MEID.
Send to me on MP your phone details and i try to optain your unlock code.
Model number:
IMEI [*#06#]:
Product ID [*#*#1357946#*#*]:
Serial Number:
I just optain again my unlock code without error...
I had the same problem because i wrote "Huawei VNS-L31" instead of "HUAWEI VNS-L31".
I find out why you and another obtain error on procedure for unlock code.
Your device ID is changed probably when you debrand your phones.
I make the procedure with my initial data which i have saved in a file and works fine
After that i observe that my ID was changed to another number and when i try with this number,
ended with error...

I've just sent you PM with my data. GL
I had the same issue lost my bootloader unlock code but there is another way to get bootloader unlock code: DC unlocker
Just follow instructions on there site for p9 lite
On the tool set the manufacturer to "huawei phones" not modems. I made that mistake too first
You need to buy 4 credits to unlock = 4 euros so the tool is not free
Good luck

Hi,
I need help, my father has a samsung A3 with ROM stock, he knowns 0 about android but he needs phone to work.
He doesn´t have a password code to unlock the phone, but this afternoon, he calls me (with another phone) telling me that suddenly the phone was blocked and he doesn´t knowns the password, he doesn´t put any security code, is like that it appears for "magic". We tried all, i have tried 70 passwords without resoults. I can see the device in android device manager, but i can´t restore the password there. I unlock the SIM but not the phone code.
How can i resolve this?
Any help would be appreciated

Factory reset is probably the only way. This will wipe ALL user data.
Also be aware this may activate Google FRP Lock.
If it does you will need to input the Google sign in details.

Samsung galaxy J5 found

Hello guys!
Today i found Samsung J5 at the pavement, closed but when i tried to open it it opens just fine, has a sim card inside and even a home lock screen photo with a girl and a boy that i see at the background. So someone has lost it.
I'm trying to open it to send a message to any contact of the owner, that i have found it and to come get it back.
I tried to get into recovery to mount and get the passwords erased (according to a video i found at youtube -link at the bottom)
but the recovery it has now doesn't work and when i try to install the twrp through Odin it says "custom binary blocked by frp".
How can i get it to work?
Or any other ideas?
Thank you!

I see you have honest opinion, but sorry, since the owner didn't enable oem unlock, there is pretty much nothing you can do but flash stock rom using odin and use it yourself...
Just insert that sim card in another phone and wait for calls, or try importing contacts from the sim card onto your phone, if you really want to find its actual owner...
Edit: It might require a password for the sim card.
Ragazzza, i can not use it for myself, even if i wanted to, cause it is locked through and through. It has FRP enabled and it is unusable. I went to the company of the sim card and they told me they can't do anything, i just have to go to the police and they find the owner. I wento the police and they told me to take it to them. The only thing if that i'm afraid they maybe will take it for themselves. That's why i do not want to take it to them. Of course, if i can't find a solution i will do it.
Gent, well i haven't thought of that! But i do not think that it'll work because what we do in Greece is we tell the company we have the number to deactivate the lost sim, and give us a new sim with the same number. Also, the sim card has a pin, so... :/
So the sim i have now in my hands is useless, propably. I'll give it a try though, thanks for the idea!
Don't wipe the device in stock recovery. You will end up locked out by FRP.
Is there an sdcard in the device that could give clues to the owner?
Also I find it hard to believe that the network company of the sim card cannot help. If it's contract they should have no problem tracing the owner via the sim card number or even IMEI of the device.
Is the SIM card actually locked?
ashyx, i do not know where you are from but in Greece, unfortunately, things do not work like in other countries. I have gone to 2 stores, in both stores told me the same thing. "we can't do anything sorry. Go to the police to declare it lost". I do not trust the police will do it's job rightfully so i prefer to search for a solution, even if it takes time.
I got FRP lock, indeed. No sdcard :\ I actually found a program called Wondershare Dr.Fone but neither of my phones are supported....

So at the moment you are FRP locked because you attempted to install TWRP or can it still boot to the lock screen?

I attempted to instal TWRP and it gave me this message "custom binary blocked by frp". But i can boot to the lock screen if i take out the sim card.

I'm surprised the owner hasn't attempted to call the phone.
The first thing I do is call the phone if I lose it and hope someone answers.
It should still be possible for you to pick up the call even if it's locked.
ashyx, not if the sim card is locked. If it was only the phone i wouldn't have a problem answering any calls to give the phone back. But it's both sim and phone locked. Or else i wouldn't have a any problems solving this
