Stuck with locked bootloader - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi. I've just upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0 nougat (badwolf), but my bootloader relocked again (somehow). My phone is working fine so far (no camera problems etc.) and i've noticed there is already way to root nougat. So, how can i do that when my bootloader is locked once again?! I've tried to unlock it via Huawei's normal and chinese as well site, but it doesn't give me any code, it gives an error.. (I'm writing my serial number from the box, imei and other stuff) The only thing which it has to be taken from the phone is Product ID, which i think is the main reason for this big problem.. I'm stuck, i can't downgrade (If i want to), can't install recovery, can't root my phone without this sh*t.. Help?!

You do not have the code used for initial unlock?
Is same code... I unlock my bootloader for more then 10 times and i use same code...

These are the requirements for another bootloader code:

1.Please register your Huawei ID in our official website http://huawei.com/en/ on your PC.
2.Log in your Huawei ID on your phone for 14 consecutive days.
3.Each Huawei ID should not apply for the unlock code more than twice within half years.
If you meet the conditions, please go to http://emui.huawei.com/en/ and click the 'download' button, then click 'unlock bootloader' button to login your Huawei ID other than any other third party ID to apply for the unlock code. Mail: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=email

What's more, for the lacking of fully tested, the third party software will not be compatible with your phone. Unlocking will bring unexpected negative impacts and the device will be not normal, and can not be restored, Huawei after-sales service office will not provide warranty service for your rooted phone, and you may bear the cost. So we strongly advise you to think it twice.
If you have any other problem, please send your feedback to us. We will be at your service to help you solve your problems.
Once again thank you for contacting Huawei device.
Best Regards.

So, by that i should understand that my phone has to be logged in "HUAWEI ID" on my phone for at least 14 consecutive days? (Because currently has no 14 days logged in yet) Or am i wrong ?!

Yup.. so i have to wait 12 more days ;/

I had the same problem, but my email/number phone were europeans so it wasn't possible.
I deleted my account and i made a new one from the chinese site (using hong kong as state) so i put the new account into the phone and requested the code, without waiting 14 days

Eh, cool I'll try the same later.

Same issue. Created new account (HW ID) and same error: Please make sure the verification code and model number are correct. If your device has multiple IMEIs or MEIDs, please try another IMEI or MEID.

Send to me on MP your phone details and i try to optain your unlock code.
Model number:
IMEI [*#06#]:
Product ID [*#*#1357946#*#*]:
Serial Number:
I just optain again my unlock code without error...

I had the same problem because i wrote "Huawei VNS-L31" instead of "HUAWEI VNS-L31".

I find out why you and another obtain error on procedure for unlock code.
Your device ID is changed probably when you debrand your phones.
I make the procedure with my initial data which i have saved in a file and works fine
After that i observe that my ID was changed to another number and when i try with this number,
ended with error...

I had the same issue lost my bootloader unlock code but there is another way to get bootloader unlock code: DC unlocker
Just follow instructions on there site for p9 lite
On the tool set the manufacturer to "huawei phones" not modems. I made that mistake too first
You need to buy 4 credits to unlock = 4 euros so the tool is not free
Good luck

[Q] Help unlocking

For the life of me I cannot get this phone to unlock for a different sim
Ive tried the sgs unlock tool on both stock and a 2.2 froyo rom
I tried the windows tool posdted in another thread....the one with generatecode.bat ....it worked but it doesnt display a code on either the stock 2.1 update 1 rom or the foryo one....I dont know what to do
and yes im rooted
The windows tool worked for me from stock.
It doesn't generate a code though you input one.
Edit: link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822008&page=11
Scroll down for instructions.
Did you try the sgs unlock PRO version?
I jsut bought the pro version and it doesnt want to work....it says it unlocked it when i use the unlock sim option and when i use the root or non root to show the code i get a unkown error
Call Tmo customer service. Tell them that you will be traveling overseas and you want to use a foreign SIM. Ask for the unlock code for your phone.
They will ask you for your phone's IMEI number.
Then in a few hours, or a day at the most they will send you the unlock code and instructions.
I dont understand why the paid app isnt working either....it just says no codes found unkown error and tmo wont give it to me....i hate them anyways
The app didn't work for me either. Did you try the solution I suggested above?
I use my phone in London the majority of the time having used that. It took me a few tries but it worked.
I agree with the earlier post that you can try asking tmo. They gave me the unlock code for my old blackberry after providing the IMEI.

I would get the error as well, but it did unlock. When you choose unlock phone, does it tell you to restart the phone with your SIM card?

Having issues with unlocking Rogers G2 D803

Having some issues unlocking a rogers LG g2 on rogers for use on bell (in canada). I requested the code from a supplier we use at work called swift unlocks. First one came back with an error saying not found. Second one came back and gave me 5 codes. I tried 4 of 5 of them and retried the first one twice. All were unsuccessful. I'm pretty nervous about trying it again unless i know i have the right code. Anybody have any clue as to why this would be? I could pm imei and the unlocks if for whatever reason you needed them. Thanks!
I used a different unlock service but just to confirm:
The IMEI code that you sent them was 15 digits, and
The unlock code that you received back was 16 digits?
The unlock code is calculated based on your IMEI, so an incorrect IMEI will generate in incorrect unlock code. Just confirming, no insult intended.
Edit: the 'not found' error from the first guy might be an indication of an IMEI number problem, the second might attempt to calculate the code without verifying the number of digits (just guessing).
You Recieve Order Like this = NCK: 3318127327994422 NSCK: 8229847774723821 SPCK: 3456299809863781 CPCK: 7894406766580758 SIMCK: 8088200593212927
In Which Unlock Codes Are:
Unlock Code = 3318127327994422 (NCK)
Service Provider Code = 8229847774723821 OR 3456299809863781 (NSCK OR SPCK)
But yes make sure the imei is correct
I had an issue unlocking my phone if i wasn't on the stock lg rom, on aosp it wouldn't unlock for some reason.

Are you sure, Its not the case of Bad ESN? If so there's no way around.
Otherwise you can Order for Unlock code using your IMEI and purchase it through eBay or any other site.
Usually that's how i do. Easiest method to Unlock the device.
what means bad esn ? and how can i verify if it's bad ESN or not ?
i can purshase the code yes but how will i put it ? it don't let me type the code (phone is permanently locked)
thanks

If i describe an easy way about Bad ESN then it would be like, The Phone that you own has been stolen earlier or previous owner has reported it to respective carrier or company itself to Block its IMEI. In such case, Phone will be no longer Phone. Means for calling purpose.
If its a Clean ESN then things are pretty easy as it sounds. At first make sure you're not using the same Carrier SIM as your phone came with. Any other SIM, Insert it. It will basically asks you to enter code. Which will given to you once you purchase through either eBay or any Online site where they Unlocks IMEI for the device specific. Usually its a 7 Digit code, But may vary, enter exactly the same as provided by respected Seller or Anyone whom you've contacted. As you'll have only 10-Attempt to Unlock your device. Once it done, It will show like this: Your Device has been Successfully Unlocked, Now you can insert any SIM-Card, it will work.
To Check whether its been Bad ESN case or not, Just Google it: Bad ESN
thanks for these informations, i don't think the phone is stolen, it works with the owner's sim card, but it seems like the 10 attempts has been tried and can't enter unlock code anymore (hard locked) what to do in this case ?
thank you

I'm not sure, In this case there's any reset counter available or not. But surely if you want play around with your device with Owner's SIM in it. then do few things.
-Factory Reset your device, without inserting any SIM Card.
-Afterwards Purchase Unlock Code either online or contact Carrier company whichever company's SIM Card working in your device and ask them for Unlock Code.
They will basically asks few details and give you Unlock Code for free, Otherwise purchase it through online, but before make sure to insert any non-legit sim in it whether Enter PIN menu POP-Ups or not.
Do these, will possibly reset the counter for you. Or else i'm helpless buddy.:fingers-crossed:
All of this were done and the counter is still not reset, i'm hopeless, thank you anyway
i've heared there may be a solution by uploading a new qcn file with QPS, any idea ?
hard reset is the same thing as Fatory reset ? else ?
thanks

Bootloop what to do!!??

Hello,
I've tried to update my huawei p8 lite ALE-L21 to B525 but it failed and since then i'm in a bootloop which i can't get out of. I've tried already anything but nothing works.
I wanted to get the bootloader unlock request. But I can't get my product ID because my phone doesn't work. I allready send a message to huawei about this
Does any-one have any ideas to get out of this bootloop?? I hope so....
You might be able to get your product id from the box of your phone.
Then unlock the bootloader en fastboot flash the rom on it.
You also tried to put the rom on a sd card and boot through volume up + down?
I've tried al that and nothing works.

Did you get the bootloader unlocked?
Otherwise try this to unlock it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63L7FBuWFrc
No not yet, because I can't get logged in on my Huawei ID on my phone and I can't get to my product ID because the phone is in an loop. And after many many e-mails to Huawei China they said I had to send the device to a sevice center. I've contacted Huawei Netherlands and they will try to get the unlock code from headquarters. I hope they will manage to get the code. So if I have the code I will certainly try this. Thanks

EpicBas has linked tutorial . No need your phone product id, it will be generated by software.
I've tried that also but unfortunately no luck. I send my phone to Huawe repair services. And they fixed it with no costs. Great service from Huawei!!!

Lost my bootloader unlock code, what can I do?

So a year ago I obtained the bootloader code and successfully unlocked my phone to debrand my phone.
Now I would like to flash a custom room (lineage) on my phone but to my surprise I found out the bootloader is locked again!
I didn't write down the code and whenever I try to obtain a new one from the official website it just says
"Please make sure the verification code and model number are correct. If your device has multiple IMEIs or MEIDs, please try another IMEI or MEID."
I of course checked everything a million times and every number is correct! I think the error is due to the fact that I already obtained my code...what can I do??
