Losing call capability - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I've been having this weird random issue since updating to Nougat.
Every now and then I lose call capability, I'm unable to call or receive calls until I restart my phone, but data works fine, so far I have factory reset my phone, reinstalled Nougat several times, I'm on stock not rooted.
I can't figure out what's causing it, I have taking my phone to a Samsung repair center 4 times, the last time they replaced my phone but I'm still having the issue.
Any ideas?

[Q] SMS Delays - Bounces Back to Carrier

I have a Nexus 4 on KitKat 4.4.4 stock with Gravity Box.
This problem has always occurred once in a while (maybe once every two weeks), recently it's been happening a lot more often.
Sometimes I am expecting text messages and they don't come in until 2 hours up to 2 days after they are sent by other people to me. This is a big problem as sometimes there are important texts that are time sensitive.
I called Virgin Mobile and asked tech support, and after checking the system, they verified that there were texts that the carrier received, tried to send to my phone, but got bounced from my phone so they were stored with the carrier until my phone would receive again.
I've tried factory reset, used another Nexus 4 for a while (restored from backup), used a different ROM, and tried everything. Any idea?

Lolipop dropped calls?

Anyone else getting dropped calls? Started losing calls after the update in places that I haven't lost calls for months suddenly after the update. Very bummed as my old phone was swapped for this reason, and this is my replacement which was perfect...until now.

Call verizon technical make it known we pay good money they should provide good service especially if they lock bootloader.
Verizon is pretty fast as solving lollipop issues. I had one yesterday where the dialer wouldn't load. Come to find out, if visual voice mail doesn't load the entire phone number and message after someone calls for some reason, it causes the dialer function to crash (making contacts unresponsive). They fixed it and noted it on the bug list.
One today, the autorotate stopped working. Problem was caused by a 3rd party app update. Cleared cache, reboot, and fixed.
So far so good. I've gone full retard with animations and no power saving features. Phone can last almost two full days with constant use. I'm pretty impressed and won't be going back to kitkat... ever.
My guess is that it's a reception issue so how can they fix this over the phone? I have my doubts that they can fix it but I guess I can try

Most of the people are calling complaining becuase of the update they are lossing connection and seeing dropped calls they are responsible for your service if your not getting it call them they configure the towers the code on your phon blah blah

Note making and receiving calls no sound. Factory reset works for an hour or less.

Phone. SM-N900R4
Build number. LRX21V.N900R4TYUDOH1
Version 5.0
Unrooted, factory configuration.
The handset will make and receive calls, with zero sound including no connect tones, ringing, etc. On my end or the callers. Texts and browses net no problem. Phone has never been dropped or exposed to water. Customer service reset tower connection, double checked a few settings over the phone to no avail. Wiping the cache worked for 1 call. A factory reset worked for less than an hour. Tech support suggests buying a new phone. If that were plausible I would happily do that. Are there any other suggestions or ideas.
Thank you very much for your time.
After a restart, I got a touchwiz has stopped working message. I was able to make multiple calls, etc. I forced them both to stop and downloaded google now loader. No problems so far. Phone works as intended. Will be rooting this thing as soon as I get time and trashing all the bloatware.
Nevermind. It stopped working again. Shutting the phone down and restarting it seems to work for an hour or 2.

Is my 6p broken?

Over the past month I've noticed my 6p behaving oddly. Over the course of the day my data will stop working and I won't be able to send messages, make calls or receive them, even though it says I have full bars and my data is turned on. Also, when I'm asleep my phone will restart at random times (i only know this because when I wake up, I'll have to input my pin). Any ideas on what's going on? I haven't had a major drop, this phone has been babied and very well looked after. I've tried it with Pure nexus with the Franco kernel and also with the stock pure nexus kernel, and have also reverted back to complete stock, but my problem still persists.

It seems like a sign of hardware failure. Especially if it popped up during normal use and persists on complete stock. My phone has never restarted itself once. I would start with a new sim. Once in a blue moon that will fix what seems like a faulty device.

Not getting texts / calls (T-Mobile)

Hello,
Once I got this phone a year or two ago, I've found that I will need to reboot it to start receiving texts and phone calls at times.
This was on the stock ROM, I've used CM 13 and now Lineage 15 since and the behavior is always the same.
There is no indicator I've lost cell service and my data connection will work fine regardless.
Because this is my first ASUS phone and also my only phone I've ever had on T-Mobile, I don't know which of the two (possibly both?) to blame.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, was it with another carrier? Is it worth going back to stock and getting the latest updates? If I knew it would resolve the issue, I would definitely do it.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
I'm on a Z00T (ZE551KL) if that makes a difference.

Update:
Reverted back to stock and got on the latest OTA from the ASUS website, the issue still remains.
Anyone out there using this phone on T-Mobile? Its really starting to become a problem, I'm completely missing important phone calls and texts with no way of knowing until I force my bank app to send me a text, and I don't get it.
A reboot resolves the issue, I have no idea what triggers it.

I have SM-N900V (Note 3 on Verizon). Running LineageOS. If I'm home or at work no problem. An hour or two away I don't receive texts. I can send them, but until I reboot I receive no texts. After rebooting I usually get them twice. Calls seem unaffected. Did you figure out anything with your phone?
