I just came across a video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fihLIwIZovY) but i would like to confirm here if any of motorola defy users are using some sort of keyboard and mouse (Bluetooth based HID) ? any market availability
I just bought a BT Keyboard with Micro-Usb Charging port. That way i dont have to carry two power cables.
I will report back when it arrives.

can you send me the links from where did you get it...even when it arrives do share how it works on defy.
I am using my trusty old Nokia SU-8W folding BT keyboard. It needed a "helper" app in 2.1 but runs perfectly in 2.2 without. Seem to be a few on ebay, though if you're in 2.2 I imagine any good BT keyboard might work. Though I would confirm before buying. I am on stock USA t-mo phone, 2.2.1 Has no mouse. Has a slide-out to stand the phone in (similar to the video), but has to be "loaded" from within the phone. ("Initiate pairing from phone"). In texting the return key actually does a "return", not send. It sits up high enough in the built-in stand to use the lower nav keys.
Copy & paste are the only things I'm still trying to sort.
Is there any keyboard in the market that also have mouse (trackpad) support which can be used on defy's browser..!!??
I bough it from ebay, here is the link.
I will report back if it works.
There are small keyboards with trackpads from the same company, too. I dont know if they work but as BT Mouses should work with 2.2 flawlessly i think these devices should work too.
As long as the device works with Android in general it should of course work with the browser too.
I think better use a PC.

second that^^
no need to use them for such 3.7'' screen.
Ah, i forgot to report back.
The keyboard is working with my windows 7 pc but it is not working with my defy.
I get it to connect to the defy and show up as a connected HID device but it wont recognize any keyboard input.
I am searching for a stock rom with bt-keyboard support at the moment...
and "I think better use a PC." is just about the dumbest answer you could give.
Thanks for the update
I found here that the "freedom pro" keyboard works but when I price check, it's over $80, so no way!

Logilink ID0070
Hi,
I bought a Logilink ID0070 bluetooth keyboard and it doesn't work. Neither in CM7, nor in CM9 I can type something on this keyboard. It is paired with my device but nevertheless it didn't want to do something else.
Is there already a solution to this problem?
Blueputdroid was awesome to use as a witless mouse keypad and game controller so I could hook my tablet to my TV and use my phone to control it. But Google changed the Bluetooth stack in 4.2 and maybe 4.1 so this app no longer works. Tried to contact the dev for weeks but no response. I've tried various others but no luck. Anyone have a way? I asked cm devs about it and they said there is no way for them to revert or change the Bluetooth stack. I'm running cm10.1 BTW. Thanks
Hello guys,
I am looking to get my phone to do screencast, I work either from home or in the office, and it is a pain to check IM's and SMS from the phone all day and night. I want to be able to just use the PC that I am working at.
I installed the SDK and attempted to get screencast to work on my rooted android 4.3 Note 3. However all I get is the picture of my phone, I can control the phone from the phone and the screencast updates, however it does not work in reverse whereby using the mouse and keyboard to control the phone.
I was just wondering if anyone has attempted this, has better solution, or knows that it will or will never work.
any help would be appreciated.
I think you would try teamviewer quicksupport with samsung addon
I was reading about this program from Samsung that could let you use your phone remotely and share your PC mouse and keyboard with the phone, and also show the phone's screen on your computer, and it would be really useful, but for some reason it says it's not compatible with the Galaxy S4. What gives?
I got it to work by downloading the apk and installing it manually, it works perfectly, and it's really useful. You can basically see the phone's screen on your PC and use it with keyboard and mouse, or share your PC's keyboard and mouse with the phone and operate your phone with them.
I wonder why Samsung decided to make the app impossible to find on any store when it works perfectly. But then again it's Crapsung we're talking about here.
Ive been hoping that someone would build asop or cm for this device but at this point I dont believe its worth anyones time. I dont have a problem with the stock rom its acctually nice but I am dissapointed that the bluetooth driver does not support the sixaxis app.
What is the best approach to implementing a fix for the bluetooth driver?
I'd appericate it if a devloper could just point me in the right direction Id like to try and make a fix
I would just use an otg cable with an xbox controller but that as does not work for me which sucks because other users have told me that works fine for them
