Cannot receive OTA kitkat update

I have international LG G2 32gb with original jellybean... no root, no custom recovery.... the kitkat update never came. Whenever i check for system updates i get the message that i already use the latest system os. Tried 2 or 3 hard reset but no luck...
i dont want to update through lg software center because i read somewhere that doing that disables the LG RCT and in download mode the phone status is "rooted" hence you lose your warranty without doing anything wrong. I sent an email to LG Hellas but they do not acknowledge the problem.
Anyone has the same problem? any solutions?

First let's try to find your original device firmware.

Replace xxx with your imei in the browser.
It give you the latest firmware version and the suffix(some capital letters). The suffix indicates the market region, my for example is from Baltic.
In the browser use " LG g2d80210a_00.kdz 32gb+suffix", 10a is for jg if you can't find a try b.
NOTE: never, never use a 16GBP firmware in a 32GBP device!!!
After you have kdz file, backup important data to a pc!
Flash with LG flash tools with cse option(it will wipe all the device). The phone will boot, skip the setup and make factory reset , boot again and update to kk by ota.
This way it will be full stock with unroot flag!
NOTE 2: the phone only will receive ota updates when there are available for that region (suffix) .

ok i get it, this means that before they sold me the phone they flashed it with european rom... now i have
d80210e-eur-xx
and the suffix i get is ASEABK
the solution is to flash jb for my phone region and then i will get the OTA.

Strange touch problem after upgrading my lg g2

I tear off my set & found several things
1. My back cover, settings > Software info & booklets shows it D802, while internal plastic is labeled as D800 & Motherboard is D801 T-Mobile. Look like some company is selling T-Mobile as D802.
I read it on this forum that if flash D802 rom on T-Mobile D801, then need to reload Kernels of D801 too after flashing D802 rom. I tried flashing D801 kernel in recovery mod but it gives error "E invalid certificates" or something like this, I also tried flashing D801 stock rom, but LG Flash Tools 2014 gives error at 2% (Phone disconnection & sometime "Connection to server failed"), however, LG Flash Tools flash D802 without any issue.
Now, can someone tell me how to flash D801 kernels after flashing D802 rom? Or how can I flash stock D801 rom?

I am facing quite odd problems. please help me.
I have LG G2 D802. My software version was d80220b while when I attached my mobile with pc, pc suite notify me that d80220c is available. I upgraded. But after upgrading, touch is totally out of work. Say like below, I tap "7" & it goes to 2, 3 etc. I select say first option, it selects 4th option.
Also, one more thing, my mobile is 32gb variant, while now it's showing only 10.7gb.
Three Problems total
1. Touch totally disturbed
2. Storage reduced from 32gb to 10.75gb
3. Service Disabled (No sim is working :'(
I think it's due to some rom issue, can you please guide me or send me link for the correct ROM for my mobile?

Factory reset or flash a kdz

HI Kernol,
I have done it like 5 times, I flash stock rom & hard factory reset but still same.
There was not a single touch issue in the last 2-3 weeks, but it immediately happened on OTA upgrade & on start/configuration screen
Any help please

I did factory reset as soon as I find this problem after OTA done but didn't work.
Then I flashed kdz 5 times but still same issue

try install a custom rom
may problem ur stock g2 version or something in kernel or baseband or touch drivers

I tried many custom roms, but they are in .zip instead of kdz file
Can you please let me know how can I reload them? I am using LG Flash Tool 2014 which supports kdz only. I can stuck at configuration windows just after LG Logo. So, cannot access anything in mobile like Developer tools etc

u can't reload this at this moment
only way to fix this its only by kdz
but whats rom version u have before installing update
& u tried to flash kdz version u have in ur phone before ?

My phone had d80220b how LG PC Suite find an update d80220c & did this on my mobile.
Now, I have tried both d80220b & d80220c downloaded from links posted in last post but I am still having same problem :'(

Try to update the touch drivers, just dial 3845#*802# go to settings and then update touch firmware

Do you have a Bluetooth mouse? Or do you have a chance to connect via lg on screen phone?

No 4G on LG G2 vs980

I rooted my phone a while back with Cloudy G3 and it worked pretty good for a few months, then the 4G stopped working. I had my sim card replaced, but that didn't fix it. I then tried fixing it and hard bricked my phone. With the help from this site, I was able to get it to download mode. I did the update software from lgmobile and it installed 4.4.2 and did a factory reset and the 4G still didn't work. It now has 4.4.2 and I had to root it with stumproot, because towellroot wouldn't work. I then used the flashtool using the kdz file, but it still didn't give me my 4G back. This time I was able to root with towelroot and install all my rooted apps. I found the apn settings for verizon, but after I put them in it won't let me click it as an option. When I go to the setting there is one called vswinternet, but I can't update it. I seen on the net about deleting lteconfig.apk, but I don't have it. Any ideas?

Help with UPPERCUT & LGUP

I have an O2 UK H870 and I'd like to use UPPERCUT & LGUP to replace the O2 software with an open GB/European software version. I have the KDZ on my computer.
I've already used UPPERCUT, but I selected 'Upgrade' and although it has upgraded my software to V11i-234-10, it's still showing as the O2 version. Build number NRD90U.
I've tried using 'Refurbish', but I got an error message, something along the lines of 'Unable to Refurbish with this software'.
Do I need to factory reset my phone before using the Refurbish option? I'd appreciate any help, as I don't really want to reset my phone if it's not going to work anyway.

You should try to flash the KDZ and after the flash is finished (before it boots) make an hard reset.

Thanks, but I'm not sure if I understand that correctly.
I'm not able to flash the complete GB/Euro KDZ over my O2 software version. It doesn't appear to work without giving an error, I only seem to be able to do an Upgrade and it still shows as being O2.

I'll repeat myself then, and I'll be a bit more clear.
Whats you should try is flashing the kdz with upgrade option (since Refurbish doesn't work on any G6 model) then right after the flash, before the phone boots, enter in the hard reset menu with button combination and perform an hard reset, then let the phone boot and see if the firmware is changed, if not I think there is nothing you can do to change firmware.

Just an update in case anyone else is thinking of doing the same.
I tried the hard reset after using Uppercut with LGUP and it appears that phone still has O2 software. The software is slightly newer, with the more recent security patches.

[G6 H870] Unable to update through KDZ

Hi. I have a problem. I'm on a V20C Oreo. When i am trying to update to something newer (by LG flashtool or by official tools like LG Bridge) phone freezes on LG G6 ThinQ screen, nothing helps (factory reset too). Then i must go manually to download mode and flash V20C back, and it boots OK. What is wrong?
Later than one month ago i have problem with charging, the cable was charging only on one side and it newer go to fast charge mode, then i made a factory reset and problem dissaperes for a couple of hours, after flash to V20C (i can't flash newer soft) its ok for a few weeks.
What could be the problem? Please help.

Isn't V20C the most recent stock? If you want to downgrade you will have to unlock bootloader, but I guess it's not what you have problem with. Try to use LG UP with UPPERCUT, other tools probably won't work.

For my h870 lg bridge doesn't show any updates?For what region is your phone?

Phone is from Poland, not brannded.
