Hi I'm interested in using it as a GPS Golf watch. Can you check if any of the golf apps install OK, like Hole 19?
ok so i downloaded the app, it installed and ran ok. i couldn't really test the full functions as there are no courses nearby ... i can tell you that when using wifi i get a flawless gps fix in seconds... i havent tried it with mobile cause my phone has lte network so i just use the wifi and connect this way...
my only negative is that there is one dead pixel but i just put a green watch face so i cant see it lol...
Help
Hi how to add watchfaces besides the original one?
thanks mate
update
so it seems the I4 got an update from v4 to v5... seem to be some changes to the tethering app and it gives you an option at the start to download it as you set up the watch... For some reason I couldn't get the wireless update to work so I downloaded the files from the china gadgets website and used SP Flash tool...

It should run the app in standalone mode as it is on the watch as long as a course is downloaded and only needs to access the GPS module on the watch. Thanks for the info anyway.

Newbe here. But I received my new I4 yesterday. Usi. G wiiwatch 1.0 to connect, I can't. My samsung S4 won't run the apk file. Says it's not the right format and my galaxy tablet crashes everytime it connects to the I4.
My Q is is there anothe .apk app that emulates the wiiwatch app ?
Q2, is there a way you brainiacs(I use this term in the highest regard ) have figured out (besides rooting) .
I did connect my PC to the I4 via BT but to transfer 80 files it was going to take 400 hours. WTF man!
One more Q. Has anyone gotten inside the I4 to see if u can swap out the sd (tf) card ?
Thata my next step. I did that on the ZGPAX 3G Smartwatch Phone .
Any way please HELP!. I got this to load up with mp3's Id reather put a 32gb card in.
Make it square
I also have the wonderful I4 even thought this thing is buggy. Just bought it and problem after problem
Another question please. The round display of this watch cuts off the corners of what would be a square screen. Is there an app that compresses the screen to a square one . please get back.

I4. PROBLEM: I thought the usb magnetic contacts weren't making contact with watch.
This is another problem solved. But… another probable problem shot to hell lol.
As always its usually something completely diff. As in this case.
Solution: it turns out my 2 year old PC (where my songs r stored) had troubles communicating with the I4. I followed instructions from , forum.xda-developers.com - Windows 10 MTK VCOM USB Drivers for 32 & 64 bit + Driver install tutorial M2
As usual they had the answer. But! I still don't know if this was the solution because after following instructions it still didn't work using my normal usb 2.0 ports. I thought, "I wonder how my usb3.0 wouldhandle this" and BOOM! IT WORKED.
So in the long run I got my music to my I4.
So maybe u can pass this on.

Hi Guys!
some answers on your questions. you can make the screen rectangle if you keep pushed the button . above you see a watch and there you can chose this option.
I have some questions for you. Do you have any workaroud to decrase the vibration? it s really terrible!!!!!
How long juice do you have? i reach max 8 hours of battery... really bad! i thought you can reach a day (12 hours)
is any custom rom/firmware for this device? i have the i4 air (no pro)
Thank you!
hi, to the forum,
I did try to flash my i4 (i4p) but the update stopped at 61% while doing the download Flash part.
now the watch won't start up anymore. screen just flashes for an instant but nothing happens. while keeping the button pressed for 30 seconds it seems as if it is resetting by flashing and vibrating again for an instant but same effect.
i tried flashing again but allways get stuck at 61%.
I have don't flashing multiple times before on other android devices. Maybe it's something with the drivers? the device manager does however show the COM4 port identified correctly.
I would be grateful if anybody could help me.
BTW. I did the update bc i had the V1 firmware and the gps was not working at all.
thanks.
edit: i just realized i might have downloaded the 2 gb version but actually have the 1 gb version. Does anybody know a ways to fix it? i will try getting the 1GB Firmware and flash that.

I got mine today. I ordered it over a week ago. Weird because I didn't get my shipping information until last night, and when I tracked it, it was already out for delivery.
My Measy Air Mouse R11 is screwed though I think. It keeps sliding to the left hand side. I even tried on my PC and it does the same thing. I've tried to resync it and screw with it, but it keeps moving. Very hard to use a mouse that doesn't stay still. The MK808 is fun. I just got it tonight. I haven't had the time to get really crazy with it. Seems to run ok and would be far more enjoyable with a good input device.
Ordered mine today (only $60), if it really works as reviews say, it's quite a bargain
Do you still have problems with the rc11 or are they solved ?

I fixed my Measy Air Mouse R11.
To reset the Gyros, you lay it flat and press and hold LEFT ARROW + G for a few seconds... making sure it is flat. Now it works great.
I'm having some weird issues with some misbehaving apps. Root explorer started freaking out. And now my FPse won't use OpenGL for the life of me. I'm interested in trying the CM10 build for it but the operation requirements are bland. Supposedly it requires CWM recovery, which is supplied but doesn't give specifics how or what order or process to get it done.
I have to say that it is a fun unit to work with and chews through FPse roms. I'm surprised how well it runs for a chinese chipset.
Flashing is a bit of a chore and instructions aren't very clear, so I'll post them here:
With the unit OFF:
Insert a paper clip into the reset hole and press it in and HOLD IT down.
Awkwardly insert the MicroUSB-PC cable into the OTG. This will power the unit and it should boot into Flash mode given you've held the paperclip down properly.
Trying to install eGalax Touch Screen linux driver
I'm trying to install the eGalax Touch Screen driver for Linux 2.6 that came with my liliput 7 inch touch screen. The touch screen is for use in my car. Using the mk802 II or ug808 to replace my audio system. I just need to get the driver installed. The driver installation script is looking for the locations "usr/local" and "usr/bin", but the only "usr" directory I can find is in "system/usr"... I'm not sure if I should use that location and create the local and bin directories there or not. But when I created the usr/local and usr/bin at the same level as system (which is in the "mnt" directory which is also at the same level as "root" directory (btw, I cannot find a "home" directory), the install seemed to work fine using Better Terminal Pro android app with the bash shell. However, when I restarted the device, the "usr" directory that I create was gone, so the driver install was wiped apparently, and the usb HDMI touch screen still does not work... I can post the bash script if that helps. This is the last thing I need to get this to work, then I can have a full Android ICS system in my car. Thanks in advance.
FYI The HDMI works great to view and use a usb mouse or the RII keyboard. they work great. It's just the touch screen input does not work. It used to when I first turned on the device with the touch screen on, but the x-y coordinates were reversed, hence attempting to install the driver. I have ICS compiled from source and may attempt to add the drivers into it and create an img to them load on the mk802 II, but I fear that I'll loose any proprietary hardware drivers that came with the mk802 II.
I also wanted to make a img backup using ROM Manager, but ClockworkMod is not available for the MK802 II. ANy leads on this would help. Been researching and testing this for a month now.

Ordered on the 26th for 65$ (actually cost £42 through paypal),
they shipped on the 29th (tracking never worked).
And it arrived on the 6th. So quicker than expected.
I've applied the firmware update which was a slightly newer build of 4.1. Mentioned in both these places (applied the tweaked one from deadhp1 for the play store location fix in case needed)

It now seems to play any avi / mkv / mp4 i've given it (usually on a usb stick or micro SD). It happily plays avi's over the network (using ES file explorer).
Its definitely better than the out of sync UG802 which wasn't quite right and the power lead came out too easily.
I use the custom stock video app (seems to come with most of the RockChip devices) and MX player (it looks a lot nicer)
I was looking for a device like this one and the reviews are really helpful

So confused... it's a USB drive that turns a TV into an Android PC? Does the TV require any special functionality to allow for that?

It is a mini PC that has HDMI output. Your TV must have a vacant HDMI input so you can plug the mini PC into it. My TV supports 1080p. And so I can set the output resolution on the mini PC to 1080p. But it also could be set to 720p as well. These don't come with any display so you have to plug it in to your TV or a monitor that supports HDMI. The audio is pushed through the HDMI as well. To control it you can use a USB mouse and/or USB keyboard. Your cheap wireless mouse will work but the USB ports do not have power to them so I've had to use a powered USB hub to make my wireless keyboard work further than a foot away from the USB dongle for the keyboard. The hub also allows you to plug in other devices like a USB camera. But the ones that work are somewhat limited , be aware. Does that help you understand it?

probably you will need the kernel sources. also, you need root access. that error (directories that get lost after reboot) might be due to yo need to remount the /system partition in rw mode (by default is ro) and perhaps you will neet to do some symlinks on /bin to /system/xbin.
other thing you..must get in considwration is that android is different from linux.. and that you might need to compile the kernel module, such thiing im not sure that is posible from within the device itself...
or.. i just might be way off track, in which case jyst dismiss my answer

just so you know it doesn't have built in bluetooth.
if you need bluetooth google for imito mx1. this one seems to be the best mk808 model so far. i got mine last month but haven't tried bluetooth yet. antutu gives a score around 6500. it's a nice toy to play with on bigscreen tvs.
I read up on this one. Good vid review at http://youtu.be/X8pozwuAq7w
Anyone know the spec diff between this and the MX2?
and is geekbuying the best seller for this device or ???

can anyone comment on this non-support of XBMC for Rockchip? and if not Rockchip, which stick-PC gets it right?
one comment also that I would like more info on is that both iMITO units underperform compared to MK808
"Lack of XBMC support for HD hardware acceleration is a major issue that Rockchip needs to address if they want to keep selling SoC chips to the Stick PC mfgrs. Stick PC makers need 2 take action on this as well and if Rockchip won't play ball, they need to consider alternative SoC. We need more processing power anyway to get close to current smart-phone level and play the latest 3D games."
This will be a thread for ARUnchained users that are using Android Sticks instead of the traditional phone as their interface device. Any users that have info or tips, please feel free to post and lend a hand. I would like to see setups, tips, tricks, ROMs, kernels, etc. Basically anything that new or even experienced users would like to know or learn.
I will be getting my CX-919 soon and I will be posting my experience in getting everything setup and going. But don't wait for me, anybody that has already been through this, get things going. I may need the help!

This is the one i bought:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KNPRJ10/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
its dual core - way more then enough to put in the car.
rooting the stick took me a while to find the right method for this specific model, but i got it and it worked like a charm. rooted in 1 minute. If u guys end up buying the same stick i will upload and write instructions.
i have the App Radio 3 with the pioneer original android cable kit which is perfect.
it give power to the stick and it is connected via HDMI.
there are other custom ROMS for this stick but i found them useless to my needs since all they do is claim that 1080P support is better improved, which is irrelevant to our case since we never gona stream 1080P in the car.
i set up my google account and it took me roughly 1 hour to get everything set up the way my phone is...
since its an android stick and im not afraid of battery drain i put a live wallpaper on it which was cool.
it get internet via my phone tethering, works like a charm.
the first initial set up needed a keyboard and a mice. after that i also purchased one as a backup:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AIHYHJA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
just to have it in the car, just in case...
also dont forget to buy this if u are using an HDMI cable coming out of ur App Radio:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004PVW1DE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
other then that ARU-Reloaded worked perfectly on that model,
sometimes the stick BT get disconnected , u know like any other software they all got bugs, but after 10 seconds its reconnect and ARU - Reloaded recognize that and reconnect automatically.
ARUR is set to start on boot so all i need is to turn the car on and i measured 1.30 minutes till i get touches.
GPS always worked for me with zero issues when ARUR is connected.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004PVW1DE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
other then that ARU-Reloaded worked perfectly on that model,
sometimes the stick BT get disconnected , u know like any other software they all got bugs, but after 10 seconds its reconnect and ARU - Reloaded recognize that and reconnect automatically.
ARUR is set to start on boot so all i need is to turn the car on and i measured 1.30 minutes till i get touches.
GPS always worked for me with zero issues when ARUR is connected.

I just ordered the stick that you linked on Amazon. Should be here Saturday. I'll definitely need to pick your brain on rooting this. Are you running constant power or is it shutting off every time you shut the car off?

@m.a.s.e
Did you install GPS Injector? Are you using Maps?
Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk
to answer your questions:
1. i am using ARU reloaded hence the injector app is pre installed and no need for a separate app. i am using google maps, but any other GPS app will work. The stick get immediate GPS lock on my car with no issues.
With ARU-R (reloaded) you can configure some settings like auto start on boot etc... There are some recommended config for sticks and that works great for me.
2. ill gather the root files and write a txt with short instructions and upload to this forum for those who buy the mk809III and want to root it.... its simple and require 3 reboots of the stick... overall roughly 2 minutes work. after that u are rooted.
u will need a keyboard and a mice in ur car for the initial setup, after that ur good.. (connect to the car BT) .
3. I am connected to power with the AR3 android KIT, each time i turn off my car the stick loses power. From starting the car to full connection i measured 1.45 minutes. which is not bad.
i looked at connecting the stick directly to the car battery but honestly 1.30 minutes is not bad at all...
4. if you are using an HDMI cable from ur AR HU to ur stick dont forget to buy this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
that way u dont need to take the HU out to put the stick directly to the radio and u can leave the stick in the glove box for easy convenience.
what else do u guys need to know?
next thing i am looking at is see how i can get a SIM connected to the stick via USB... my only prob is how to get a sim from my carrier that wont cost me pewr month...
Hi All,
ok so i have zipped the files needed to root the MK809III and added additional files:
Instructions:
Use Windows 7.
*. Unrar the compressed file to a folder on ur computer.
*. Plug the stick power supply to the wall outlet.
*. Attach the supplied micro USB to the SIDE micro usb port on the stick.
*. Connect to your computer USB port.
*. Let windows "try" to find the drivers, it will fail.
*. Point to the "Driver" folder i provided for the appropriate driver (go to the subfolder per ur OS).
--- if this doesnt work for u, let me know i have additional files and i dont remember which one worked, ill supply if needed ---
*. After driver installed and u verified the device is recognized in device manager go to the folder u extracted and run "TPSparkyRoot.bat"
*. Follow the script instructions. If will ask u to connect --> it will say if it recognized and ask u to click the enter key to reboot the stick --> let it reboot, once it is again recognized in ur USB port and fully powered on --> click enter again on the script --> repeat this step according to the script output 3 times.
*. After the stick is rebooted 3 times (never take it out of the USB port) it will be rooted on the last reboot.
*. Configure to ur home WiFi.
*. Configure ur google account and everything as u want.
*. Run to ur car with a stupid smile on ur face and tell ur wife/child/dog "i did it, i did it".
*. Connect to ur car BT using keyboard and mice, configure everything.
*. Write on facebook this post "MK809III + AR3 = Pure awesomeness" and ignore all the replies and let ur friends freak out cause they dont know what they hell u r talking about.
Where do you get ARU Reloaded? Play Store or do you just have to donate to Area51?

donate and get to the G+ group. when it will go to the playstore u already have a license.
I was just going to link to mase's guide, but I see he already posted it in both spots.
When someone finds a way to make Google Now voice stuff work with my phone contacts, and tethering phone calls and text messages from my phone to the Android stick, I'll buy one to try out. I have a remote start so I'm not too worried about startup time myself.
I am also curious if someone can hack Chromecast to work streaming the phone screen using the wi-fi tether from the phone...that would be even better than a USB stick and boot up times are in the seconds rather than a minute.

Mase thanks for posting that HDMI coupler. Was looking for this. I think I'm going to try mirror via Chromecast again now that it's officially supported on the Nexus 5. If that doesn't work well I'll go "stick" by route following your instructions.
Thanks again. And I'll keep y'all update on my Chromecast experiment.
Just received mine today , tried to connect the stick to my win 7 pc but the stick doesn't even register when I plug it into the usb , tried a different pc and get the same problem . Any ideas ?
I had to work with mine a lot to get into flash mode. You have to be sure about some USB settings. Go to freaktab.com and register, its FAR more info than xda. Look for Finless 2.0 for your stick and download it, the READ ME file is a great help!

in the stick settings dont forget to put it in USB mode, connect the cable to the side micro USB port and enable debugging as well.
and to install the drivers.
Cheers guy's I have it rooted now but have run into another couple of problems , firstly I cannot get touch working with reloaded no matter how many times I connect and disconnect Bluetooth and icons and text seem to be very small ,would I need to change something like dpi?

First, what stick did u get? second, u used a keyboard and mice for the initial setup with AR? also, did u verify in AR u have it set to other?
also, for DIP use an app called app settings to change app level DPI
OK so I got my stick (same one that m.a.s.e linked to) I got it rooted and got touch working on my appradio2. My issue is when I turn the car back on. Since it takes a little while for the stick to boot and for arunchained to start up I have to keep pressing yes so the AR will keep trying to connect to bluetooth. How are you guys dealing with it? I would really like to run constant power to avoid waiting for boot time, Anyone done this yet?

hi firends,
Mybox comes with 20171013 firmware I think it is latet firmware and ı dont find it on web. There is no problem about the box but my joystick not working with tihs box maybe it is about android 7.1.2 version. And the performance of box realy perfect.
I use kII pro nexbox a1 and finally h96 max this box realy perfect 4gb ram and rk3399 I think if the firmware of this box can be better It can be the best chooose for customers. I think the developers like Malaysk can be made custom roms for this product to use.
I just got this box. It *looks* like my firmware is dated 12-14-17. The box is slow reading in links via a Kodi addon I use, though. Really sad to see that. I was very excited about this box.
Hi, sorry for my bad english! i just got this box, but drm widevine is not present and molotov or other apk dont work.
Any solutions??
Thanks

I just bought this. It is my third Rockchip console. Both the earlier consoles I cut a hole and glued a USB powered fan to cool the heatsink. It works well. I expect to cut a hole in this one as well and install a fan before I have any problems. Waiting on a USB type A male to male cable to flash a firmware image tomorrow. I think the latest build is the Alfawise beta build from superceleron at freaktab dot com.

You can try to switch to recovery mode and replay the firmware or try to replay the firmware via the GPIO pins.
another possibility is to use an OTG Ethernet adapter you get on ebay or amazon already from 5-10 $

Firmware

Hello,
I have kospet prime watch,
recently I updated the firmware to the latest one that was almost 110 MB.
but I can't find any changes log for that update, also tried to contact Kopset prime social media,
but ironically they told me that they don't have changes log, and can't provide it from tech support
anyone could help? I want to know what is new, what is the changes log.
Was this an upgrade of the Android OS version? Mine has 7.1.1 out of the box. Not sure I want to do the update as I plan to root it (not sure that will make a difference anyway on an MTK processor).
So far mine doesn't seem to connect to any GPS satellites and it was locking up and doing weird stuff after about 15 minutes. Did a factory reset and it still was getting weird for a few minutes then it finally got normal again all by itself and has been fine ever since.
where can i find a driver for windows 10 ??
also with the cable and charger inside the package will be connected to the computer or i will have to buy another
thanks

It's a bit more complex on Windows 10 but there is enough info on https://discourse.fullandroidwatch.org/ that you can likely work through it. Just search there on Kospet Prime and you'll find discussion about the USB drivers for Win 10
I just purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and it has the refresh interior. This includes a 14.1" android tablet as the radio.
This device is running Android 10. I have enabled developer settings, but can't seem to get any devices to pick it up in adb mode.
I've tried with my phone (wireless) and with my computer (wired).
I'm trying to side load some applications to it.
Can some one help me in this forum?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately not. I've never had any issues doing this with android devices. Any advice would be appreciated
Darn... I havent been able to either.
I was really hoping to be able to sideload some basic apps since this is more or less an Android tablet in the truck.
Any luck on this

Which android stick did you end up going with? Also does it work in full screen?
I tried one from Amazon but it only works through apple carplay so it only shows on 2/3 of the display.

Hey, this is kind of a stupid question but.....along similar kinda thought, when I connect my phone via USB to my car, is there a way I could see and change the stock parameters in the sound system to something more like my liking. I use wavelet with my phone and when I plug in with USB in the car to drive even the car is effected. Without the wavelet it doesn't sound the same. I'm wanting to see if I can somehow do that so I don't gotta plug my phone in with wavelet. Cause sometimes wavelet acts funny.

I am using the M-Stick MG-S01 off Amazon.
It don't show the whole screen but most. It's also not the greatest, but it works for the most part. Which one are you using?
I was able to get ADB to recognize this system. However I get the error from android ADB tools "The Secure ADB mode is enabled. Please use the GM Secure ADB Client tool to authenticate first." I am looking for a way around this. Any ideas?
Also note I have firefox and airscreen(airplay mirroring) working in the GM emulator so if only ADB worked we could be having so much fun.

I also have a refresh Silverado and just tried a CarPlay box, how did you get it to go almost full screen? Mine still shows the side scroll menu with the clock and media player
I'm assuming you know how to activate developer mode by going
Touch "Settings"->"About"->"Build number"->then tap the white file name several times and it will count down how many taps it takes to enable it.
Still trying to figure out how to sideload apps if anyone has made any progress.
