Well by error i get super glue over my phone, but at least is just a little and only over the metallic bezel, now i've searched about how to remove that and in almost sites said that the best thing is to use "acetone" or the thing to remove nail polish that has acetone, but acetone can damage some surface like plastic, so everyone know if the bezel is true metal? If you have any better ideas hope you can help me! I'll try to get some pictures..

I wouldn't use acetone, that will cause more damage.
Simply leave it, the action of touching it and usin the phone should remove it. To speed things up, when you clean your screen use a microfibre cloth slightly dampened with a soap solution (some washing up liquid and water) and make sure you clean the area with the super glue, it will disappear given a bit of time. However it may leave behind some marks in the chrome effect, but hopefully not.
Regards
Phil
Try to "peel" it off. It should go eventually.
If you want to use acetone put a veeeery small amount on an cotton bud and try to minimize the exposure of the phone to it. Just gently wipe the super glue affected area. Also have a clean cloth at hand. One the super glue has softened, wipe it clean fast

I think about exactly the same you stated, but i was waiting that someone can help me out here. Btw do you guys think that even on that metalic bezel, acetone could damage it?
Superglue will wear off. Pick it at it with your fingernail for a few days. Seriously.

Take off the case at home?
G'day all,
I just recently received my G2 and noticed that it gets very finger printy. I have the iloome screen protector and diztronic case but I want to be able to wipe the screen down every day or so just to keep it clean. What cleaning solutions or products do you guys use that won't take off the oleophobic coating on the screen protector or anything that is gentle but will degrease the phone? Mods please move if in the wrong section.
TIA!
I use the
Eyeglasses cleaner I got from my eye doctor and the soft cloth that came with it.
I used all that up lol. What about stuff that can be used to clean laptop monitors and other tablets/phone? The eye glass cleaner that we get only comes in tiny bottles and don't last long.

If you have a screen protector, then monitor cleaner will mess it up over time. You can get the glasses cleaner at a drug store. It's pretty cheap and you can buy it in bigger bottles then the sample you get from the eye doctor.

Your screen is white?
I didn't want white. White is associated with Apple...and I'm sure we all feel the same way about apple. I quite like the black finish on my phone. It's almost like a black chrome and looks very classy imo.

This is what I do, but I don't use a screen protector.
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.
I finally decided to get these things:

and

I use lotion a lot and there's always some kind of grease or file left on my phone. Plus my face is extra greasy which doesn't really help either.
Put it in the small container mixed with warm water and detergent. Soak it up for about 10'. Take it out, shake the water off, wipe clean with lint-free cloth.
Look good after all.

I got it now. Sorry I'm slow....
Cleaning minimal as possible. Too much cleaning on screen without screen protector just causes the screen to worn faster.
Also I don't suggest micro cloth unless you clean the cloth
Experience by using damn glasses over 10 yrs

this is the way to use a smartphone. don't care this too much, usually u can upgrade the phone each two years, why care it so much?
Am I supposed to take you guys seriously? I wouldn't use that stuff for just my phone. I have TVs, computers and other items I would use it on too, including my glasses (from having glasses for the last 20 yrs...). And if you read the thread, I do have a screen protector.
Just use a microfiber cloth...
If there is anything sticky that doesn't come off with the cloth, I just rub it with my finger until it comes off and then use the cloth to clean the fingerprints off. Oil from your skin does wonders.

Hi Guys
What way would be best to remove scratches of the metal rim? Sandpaper? Aluminium Polish?
Any advice appreciated
FKO...
I haven't got any scratches yet but if or when I do I'll use autosol with a cotton bud
I removed mine with a nail buffer. Just be careful & tape over the surrounding surfaces.

Autosol? But that (maybe) will get off because of you hold the phone daily and sometimes the phone overheats then the polish will come off easily
Just want to know what's your experience with autosol because I just sick of the scratches on my Note 4 and I want to try it.
Thanks!

Don't know if you guys have ever heard about Brasso or not.
For those who haven't heard about that, it's a metal polisher used to remove scratches, junks and dents from the metal and polish metals.
It has been tested by various people in the Camera Lens of our Z Play.
And the result?
.
.
.
.
No scratches left at all! You won't find any scratches afyer applying that.
100% Scratches are removed!
Application:
*Use cotton for applying it.
*Rub it for 2-3 mins ,carefully.
*Clean it with a cotton cloth.
*Make the cloth wet if required.
*Done!
You can get it anywhere, just search for a Brasso Metal Polisher.
If you can't find, here's the one:

Yeah, but telling about the tested thing is good because if i said in my thread , use any metal polisher then maybe someone use any which may have a high abrasion and can make conditions worse.

Must've leaned against something while the phone was in my pocket but it broke without me knowing so the impact couldn't have been very much.
Cheap poor quality glass on the camera for it to break that easily without me knowing in my pocket during its first 12 hours of use.
For some reason I can't figure out how to embed an image so here is a link to the damage

I find that hard to believe. Cnet dropped the phone numerous times on concrete and the glass covering the camera was the *only* thing to survive.. You must have really hit it hard. Nonetheless I do feel bad for you. What are you going to do?
Please keep us posted.

Doesn't need to be a hard hit if it was a small point that hit the screen. Remember the pressure applied to the glass is a combination of the force and the size of the contact point.
Exactly. But I have ti admint I was also surprised by the CNET Video - phew.
For the OP, the Camera Glass is relatively easy to replace as part of the back.
All the drop test videos I see shows the camera being the last thing to break from extreme heights. Maybe something pointy struck it.

Wasn't able to get it repaired as the Samsung stores didn't even have the phone launched when this happened.
I have to wait around with a broken camera glass until they have the spare parts to replace it.
But I will have to suck it up and pay 1 or 200 hundred bucks to repair it.
If you paid with credit card, check if your credit card has accidental damage protection
Rotten luck man. I feel for you. Quickly get it insured

I find it easy to believe. If you tap the camera housing with your fingernail, it sounds and feels incredibly flimsy, and you can even pick at the edge of the glass a little. I have concerns about the long term endurance..
