Question about battery usage... - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, so as you know, FB Messenger uses a lot of battery so I decided to use Lite one instead. And also for lockscreen I'm using an app called L lockscreen. It's cool and works fine but can somebody tell me, if the battery usage is too much for both of these apps or it's normal? I will attach some screenshots. Also, is normal that overnight (or after few hours) it takes like 10-20% ? Thanks in advance!
PS: Do these lockscreen apps take usually (in general) a lot of battery?

Generally, third party lockscreens have an impact on the battery. I try to avoid a third party lockscreen for this particullar reason (even though stock one doesn't allow a lot of things). 10-20% overnight is quite fine. However, with FB Messenger installed, i only lose about 3-4% overnight (7-8 hours). Use the built-in battery manager to choose which apps run after you turn off the display. It makes a huge difference. Other than that you can also use Greenify. If you want this third party lockscreen (and i don't blame you for that, as i said stock misses features), use the the in-built battery manager and leave only essential apps be active when the display is off. If you have already done this and you still lose as much battery, try using a newer firmware. For the record, with older firmware i would lose around 25% of battery overnight but while being on the B588 firmware i lose 3-4%. Also, what theme are you using? It looks quite nice

Ok thanks! I have to keep this app as a protected app, so it won't turn off and I tried to let my phone for 1 hour and it took like 6-10% so I uninstalled it - I think it took a lot (I only let Lockscreen and Messenger as protected). Thanks for the reply!
I'll send you the link for theme later, cuz I'm at school now.

Battery drain problem resolved!!!

I have been one of the unlucky ones experiencing serious / ridiculous battery drain. I was losing around 10-15% an hour just on idle....
With minimal use I was having to recharge everyday after just 8-9 hours.
So what have I done?
Last night I flashed the latest version of Lightning ROM, available on these forums. Not only is it an excellent ROM, but it appears to have fixed the issue. The only other thing I have changed is to uninstall the Beautiful Widgets App. No other changes.
After nearly 4 hours battery is showing 91%, to compare I have normally been on 60% after 4 hours.
Hope this helps someone!

I'm on my 24th hour now and only down to 44 percent on Litening. Great rom

But, how has been the use? Data On? 2G/3G? etc..
do we need another thread for this? I had the same issue, all I did was to factory reset and install only the necessary things. Now, I'm pretty much on par with you and I still have beautiful widget on (I just can't live without it )
But it's all about the usage scenario - I can have 99% after 4hrs as well as below 50% depending on this.
I'm on stock KE7, phone on for 21 hours and still have 72% left.
sync on, 3g on. weather updating every 3hrs.
Dont see what the problem is with stock....?!?!?
The main consuming part is the screen.

There is just no consistency here and Google need to find a way to get to grips with this. I am using exactly the same usage pattern as before (data on, 3 hour updates, lattitude) and am now receiving 75% increase in battery life by simply flashing a different ROM.
You cannot imagine how frustrating it is, hearing how wonderful other people's battery life is when you are struggling to get half a day.
The reason for another thread is because I'm so relieved and wanted to share

Never had any battery drain with my KE2 stock.
Have a great battery life with the following settings:
1. rooted
2. deleted all not necessary apps with root explorer or if not shure freezed in Titanium Backup
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...SENVeXlqUm5vV0E&single=true&gid=0&output=html
3. disabled automatic background transactions in settings
4. disabled all animations in settings (keep it simple)
5. use a dark background image / also for lockscreen
6. using a light launcher (zeam launcher gives definetely bet battery live compare ADW Launcher EX or Go Launcher EX)
7. recharge battery when it's empty for around 8 hours (i.e. at night)
8. Disable HSDPA and just use 3G (no speed difference but battery) with *#301279#
9.Thumbnails and some database's could get corrupted making the media scanner running berserk, resulting in battery drain.
Delete the following:
dbdata/databases/com.android.providers.media
dbdata/databases/com.cooliris.media
And clear the thumbnails folders on sd cards.thanks nitr8

why to"keep it simple" ?
knock yourself out!!! with a grate pice of technology

P.S. Incase your wondering... Yes it does work
As ridiculous as this seems and as skeptical as I was, I tried this .... and it worked?!
Thanks for the advice .. I guess something with up with VillainRom or something because just changing to Lightning rom has solved things for me right away!

Samsung Galaxy S6 battery life is insane (how to 8+ hours sot)

Hi
First of, to the mods. I know this belong in the battery thread, but I want to et out to as many that complain about the battery as possible, so people can get the battery life they should.
The problem with battery is bloatware and wakelocks. I'm gone from 80% deep sleep to 95%+ by flashing XtreStoLite. I lose less than a % over a night (10 hours). My Wakelocks is less than a % and 2% on a bad day.
After i flashed XtreStoLite my battery life got almost doubled. I have same apps installed as before besides all the bloatware. Only a few must have samsung apps.
Before this I barely hit 4 hours sot on mobile data and now I easy get 5 and 8+ on wifi.
After the rom and all the apps are installed, install greenify and hibernate all the apps that you don't need push notifications on. The first few days check greenify to cut off wake up paths. I have greenified every single app besides messenger.
Last thing is disable services. With the app disable services.
com.google.android.gms.analytics.service.Analytics Service
com.google.android.gms/com.android.location.internal.GoogleLocationManage rService(Location Service) I have found out that it will not allow you to change settings on your wear if disabled or sync watch faces or their settings. So if I get a new watch face I just enable it again, configure the face and disable the service again afterwards.
com.android.gms.Feedback.FeedbackService(Breaks Play Games)
com.android.gms.ads.AdRequestBrokerService
com.google.android.gms/com.google.android.location.network.NetworkLocatio nService(Location Service)
com.google.android.location.geofencer.service.Geof encerProviderService(GPS Service)
com.google.android.gms/com.google.android.location.copresence.service.Pro ximitySettingInjectorService
com.facebook.katana/com.facebook.analytics.service.AnalyticsService
com.facebook.orca/com.facebook.analytics.service.AnalyticsService
If you know what you're doing you can disable from more apps.
Last, remember to backup!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Well, only had it for a few days. Got 16 hours yesterday with 61% left. With high usage (5+ hours SOT, so that decrease standby time by a bit)
It's the standby time that mainly increased doing this. I just checked my Partial Wakelocks in BetterBatteryStats and they're all showing 0%.
Are location services for running apps still working after disabling those services? Does Google Maps still work for example?

It's working "fine". Just longer to set location first time. I think the reason Google Play Services is running rampant, is because it's getting our location all the time with Mobile data (google services is under control on Wifi).
So yeah, works fine. Just takes a little longer to get loc.
So basically you'll need to trip knox for this?
What do you use your device for, may I ask?
I mean:
What apps do you use the most? (especially interested about Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Photos and Spotify/Deezer
Do you use wifi and/or 4G? If so, do you use them always on? If not, how many hours average per day?
I assume you have location always off, right?
Disabling location service and GPS service affects only high accuracy location or does it also affects low accuracy (by data/wifi)?
Auto brightness on/off?
Fingerprint unlock on/off?
Sync always off?
S-Health, Google Fit or neither?
Any messaging app beside the SMS one?
I'm sorry for the wall of questions, but I want to find out the reason for the huge disparity between some SoT I've seen (7 and 8 hours) and mine (top 3 hours).
My usage is very different from many I've seen, i.e., I use Facebook Messenger + WhatsApp + Hangouts, Facebook + Insta + Snapchat, Reddit Sync syncing, Google Photos syncing, ~1 hour of Spotify/Deezer a day, wifi + 4G always on and fingerprint unlock, but is that a reason to have less 5 hours SoT than many we've seen in the S6's Battery thread?

Yeah. It sucks it's Samsungs bloatware which ruins the experience, but well the hardware (and software) is capable of way better battery than most people are getting.

1. I mainly use Facebook (Tinfoil), Snapchat, Facebook messenger, Google Chrome and Spotify. I got Instagram too, but hibernated with greenify. Only opening it when needing it. No need for it to always check for push notifications.
2. I mainly use 3g, wifi at home. 4g if streaming. The 4g signal in my area is 1/5, so I rarely use it if I want my battery staying alive.
3. I have location and bluetooth on always (always connected to my wear). Location is on GPS only tho.
4. I have absolutely no idea. My GPS works "fine". Maps works great, just takes a little longer to get location (as it don't know my connection always right now from Mobile Data). I think that's what is causing the Google Play Services drain on Mobile Data. Constantly getting location even when location is off.
5. Auto Brightness on, pixel filter (black pixels) at night or late evening. (would use this anyway. It saves my eyes at night.)
6. Fingerprint unlock is on.
7. Auto sync off. Tasker profiles sync ever 3 hour and every 8 at night.
8. Neither of those. I use Endomondo for fit activity.
9. No, Messenger, stock sms app and Snapchat is the "messenger" apps I use.
I hope we het xposed soon, with xposed it is dat easier to control these wakelocks

So, based on your answers:
1. Uninstalled Facebook and will give Tinfoil a try.
2. Disabled 4G, because I too get 1/5 or 2/5 constantly.
5. Installed Pixel Filter (trying it out at 75%).
As soon as I get home I'll buy Greenify and Tasker too.
As I never used Tasker I don't know this, but can I set a profile where Pixel Filter is enabled between certain time, e.g., 21h-09h?
I'll full charge at night and I'll see if it gets any better.
Thank you for the answers.

Pixel Filter just got a tasker plugin, so yes you can.
Profile->Time->Set time->Task->Plugins->Pixel Filter->Configure it. It will take some time to get into tasker, but it can automate almost anything. Like I use mine to start music when headset is plugged, root kill Google Maps when closed (it runs in the background and drain battery) and so on.
It might be pretty dark at 75% tho. At the day I run 12-25% (tasker plugin with light sensor), disabled in full day light from the sun, and 50-75% at night.
Yeah, low cell connection kills battery a lot.
I don't think this alone will help a lot tho. Definitely a little. But I did all this on stock rom too (but I got 3-5 hours SoT tho) so still better than yours. But after I flashed XtreStoLite and got all the bloatware removed, my battery life began shining.
Greenify is free tho. Only needing it if you need to hibernate system apps. I did it, but you don't really need to.

75% seemed fine inside my office, it's quite dark in here. But yea, you're right. Once I get tasker I'll customize it properly.
And I thought Greenify existed in donation version only, it's good to know.

I had, then I read that it can be dump to underclock it too much, since a task takes longer to do, so it takes more time before the CPU gets into a idle state again.
Then it's better to get it done fast, so it can sleep again.
But at stock rom, all CPU speeds was used and 1500 was used pretty much of the time (CPU SPY). But after I flashed the debloated rom, it is on 400 MHz 98% of the time and 2% on 900 MHz (not counting deep sleep as a CPU state here) and the others are on less than a percentage. So something uses the CPU a lot on stock rom. I hit 1500 MHz by opening apps or browsing the internet at times.

Tests prove 3g consumes more energy than 4g, it van (re)-establish connection faster and transfers data faster

HUGE Battery Drain When Sleeping

I got a S4 i9505 with albe95 S6 port ROM. I've tweaked the settings to pretty much disable all background activity so there's no syncing, no GPS, no bluetooth no NFC etc. I've got airplane mode on 24/7 with WiFi turned on. I've also installed Greenify and System Tuner Pro (I have root) and disabled a few GooglePlayServices services and stuff. Followed a tutorial for that. Looking at the settings app, I've got 40% battery remaining and have been on battery for 2 hours 40 minutes. Probably slept for 30-45 minutes and when it was on, I go on chrome, mess with Theme engine and some other light stuff. Now I just waited 20-30 minutes and it drained 4% screen off. I waited 5 minutes and it drained 1%. Is there an app that runs in the background and I leave my phone screen off overnight to tell me what processes are using the most battery and then disable those processes? I've tried to google it but none have helped. I've disabled Gtalk and a bunch of other processes, no luck. About to download Titanium and mess around with Greenify a bit more. I'm new to Android, reason I don't like Android is it's battery life. My iPod touch 5's 910mAh battery lasts 5 hours watching YouTube, surfing the web and light gaming (Clash of Clans) while the S4's 2600 mAh battery lasts 3-4 hours. Triple the size but less battery life?
Android's root is a lot more complicated than iOS, we just go to Cydia and download tweaks like an app from the Play Store. But yeah, any apps you guys use to check background processes using battery?
It's called BetterBatteryStats.
I don't think you will find it on the play store. Or if it's free there. There is a free version on the forums here. And I mean free, not cracked or anything.
And there's more to battery life than just mAh. Your iPod has a smaller screen and a smaller resolution. Which means less work for the GPU.

Right so I messed around with BBS and I discovered the different tabs. Looked at Kernel wakelocks and Partial wakelocks. Did some research and PowerManagementService is a big one. Was told to go to partial wakelock and found RILS and RILJ0. Did some more research on that and it's related to radio and wireless stuff. (Radio Interface Layer) Did some MORE research and apparently my modem is the problem. Someone suggested me to get "GetRIL" from Play Store and see if the two ... things match but GetRIL either isn't compatible or it doesn't work. Now problem is, I have Airplane mode on 24/7 and WiFi enabled so cellular should b turned off, right?
With airplane mode on yes, network should be turned off.
The modem can be changed anyway. So maybe you just have to update the modem.
Also try a different rom.

I read that ROMS and kernels have no affect on battery life other than disabling sync and background stuff in the settings app. Only time it will affect battery life is if it's badly written.
So if cellular is turned off, why is "Cell Standby" the second most draining thing behind "Screen"? All the websites I looked at just say "Turn airplane on and wifi on" but what I'm really looking for is to completely disable cellular with "System Tuner", or do something with root permissions to force stop cellular. I've got no SIM card installed.
Not true. Both kernel and ROM can have a significant effect on battery life. For the kernel, a custom kernel can improve battery life by allowing the processor to be undervolted, thus using less power per CPU cycle. The ROM could also have battery-saving features, e.g. Doze in Android 6.0. The ROM could also have battery-sapping bugs.
The modem is separate from the ROM and kernel. It will have its own enhancements and is updated frequently, so you should update it.
If you dial *#*#4636#*#* you should get to a menu where you have the option to turn off radio. But that's probably the same thing as airplane mode.
And roms and kernels do have an impact on battery life. I once flashed a kernel that drained my battery very quickly. The same rom without that kernel was fine and with great battery life.
So, as I said, consider changing your rom. Just to see if it is rom related or not.

I updated my modem and bootloader from the same thread as my ROM, not sure if it did anything but I've managed to raise battery life from ~4 hours to ~7 hours just non-stop google chrome, theme-ing, downloading apps and trying to get better battery life. Also watched some YouTube videos.
I actually flashed this ROM because of themes, specifically the Avengers theme. Also there's a few pure black themes, did some research and pure black actually gives your battery ~40% more juice. Real world usage will probably be at least 15-20% more battery. But I'm still trying to find out how to fully disable cellular, anybody know? I've got root and Titanium Backup. I'm not sure what to freeze though and "Cell standby" continues to be the second most draining thing in the settings app.

Dialing that says "Not registered with network" because I have no SIM installed. Cellular would kill my battery but even without a SIM, cellular still is active because of emergency.
I've googled everything I can think of, within 2 days I've increased my battery by at least 60% but cellular is driving me nuts. It's using ~20 of my battery while using my phone, that's 20% plus another ~20% once I find a way to get a pure black theme that works in third-party apps as well for my AMOLED display. Also, titanium backup isn't able to convert Google Play Services or GSF into a app so I can greenify it. It just processes and processes.
There is no theme that can make all apps black. Dark material makes many apps pitch black, but it's for CM based roms only.
You can get the pro version of greenify and maybe xposed. Then you can greenify system apps. Including Google play stuff. But greenify works only when screen is off. When screen is on, the greenified apps will run again.
Or use titanium backup to freeze everything Google play related, until you need it. But doing so will require you to input your gmail account again.
You might also freeze the phone app and anything else related to network. Since you're not going to use the phone for calls. Maybe that will solve cell issue.
Right, I have no idea how I did it but my phone for the past hour and a half has not dropped a single percent and has mostly been in deep sleep. No more wakelocks too, only thing I noticed was a alarm from Google in BBS but didn't mind that too much. Excited to see how much it will drop overnight.
Also, do you know the largest battery for the S4 that I can buy on amazon.ca? I don't want a case or a separate battery, I just want a battery that's more than 2600 mAh. So far, I think the ZeroLemon 3000 mAh battery is the biggest but I heard it's got no NFC. I don't use NFC or anything wireless other than WiFi but could you give me a quick explanation of what this does cause apparently it's a part of the battery itself.
You know that thing where you put two phones together (back to back) and it transfers data from one phone to the other? That is NFC. You can basically send web pages, app pages in the google play store and phone numbers with it. Just bring whatever you want to send on the screen and touch your phone on another phone to send it.
You can't sent actual apps and files.
The connection is established through connectors on the battery. That's why it won't work if the battery doesn't have one. It also is a method to verify the autenticity of batteries. Fake batteries don't usually have working NFC.
Now, the biggest S4 battery I heard of is about 9000 mAh. The second is 7500 mAh. I don't know if you can find them on Amazon.ca.
Use amplify and limit all "safe to limit" wakelocks.

Package disablers?

It seems package disablers are pretty popular now for helping you disable some apps that you wouldnt otherwise be able to disable. It seems alot of peoples reasoning for disabling apps is to save battery but iam wondering how much battery is the package disabler app itself using? After all. Its constantly running in the back working to keep those apps from waking right??
First of all, once you disable the app, it is disabled forever, no need for PD. As far as how much saving you get? 3 nights ago charged phone 100% before sleep, wake up 98%, 2 nights ago charged 100% before sleep, wake up 80% left. That would be x10 higher power usage . I went to app manager and force stop about 5 apps and everything went back to normal. Some apps can be brutal on battery (not sure if by design or it crashed) and all those people complaining about poor battery, it's not the phone, it's some programs running in background. For example If I don't even have facebook account, why is facebook running on my phone? If you know what you're doing you could easily double battery life.
Iam not fully understanding your reply! Are you saying package disabler is the reason your battery life improved?

So what's your secret then?!
Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I bought but haven't really touched Package Disabler Pro.
I think its better to have 1 app controlling/blocking multiple things than having multiple apps running multiple things and wasting battery.

I run package disabler pro and it shows as 0% battery usage with 37% battery left. I don't think the app runs in the background, it just force closes the apps that you select and disables them from running, so I think it helps your battery seeing it stops other apps from using your battery.
Is there any apps in particular recommended to disable besides the obvious? When i view the list of files within package disabler. It shows some items using ram but most of them seem to have no affect on battery life and aren't intrusive in anyway so i imagine it's just not necessary to disable them. I mainly wanted to disable Knox and bixby but bixby doesn't seem to be using any battery so again, iam not sure i need to disable it.
To make quick points in simplest way:
1. For best performance, only programs that you actually use should be running on your phone.
2. Package disabler is the program to use for system files, especially now, since we have no root yet.
As far as looking at the battery statistics, they are not very reliable IMO: I had my phone discharging 2% overnight and at other time 20%, when I looked at settings/battery/battery usage they looked almost the same in both cases: Android OS, Android System, Device Idle etc. no smoking gun and yet the phone was using battery x10 more. I do not know what caused this excessive usage, but I went to APP manager and manually force stop every non system application and all went back to normal. This is not the first time this happened to me and IMO simplest solution is not to have unnecessary software running on my phone, less chance for the programs to go haywire.

what are the top drainers when you go to :
1) settings
2) battery
3) press on the ellipse ( three vertical dots ) in the upper right corner and choose 'battery usage'.
. . . for me, my largest app usage is aodNodify at a whopping 20 percent, followed by messages.
4) press on the ellipse again and choose 'Show full device usage'.
. . . for me it's Screen at 20 percent, and then Wi-Fi at 11 percent.

I get 10 hours with 120hz and FHD so no need to disable that.
Tbh besides what @old_fart said the main killers are
5G
Facebook
Not wiping after a major system upgrade ie; 10 to 11
Poor kernel
Misbehaving Google play services
AOD (looks great, kills battery)
Charging overnight (eventually this will murder your battery)
Gaming
Video calling
Misbehaving rogue app.
Misbehaving launcher.
Ads ( block them all)
You get the picture, I've compiled a large list of problems and suggested alternatives in the review section of this forum, can't remember which one but a lot of good tips are in there, give them a look.
Attached Battery status.
The Os was cleaned after the upgrade to Os 11.
AOD - is switched off.
5G - Not working anyway.. disabled.

Good to all that.
Are you on stock OS or any kernels installed? Magisk ROMs?
It's possible if your phones just been set up that it may be backing up/ syncing Google photos.
Go through your apps and make sure that there set up optimise instead of intelligent control.
Facebook is always a killer, maybe use the browser version it's not much different, personally I'd delete the account and every bit of info in it, hate Facebook
I would say OOS11 drains more battery than OOS10. I game a lot and my battery lasted longer on OOS10.

Depends on the game for me.
Emulation is a good test and it runs about the same for me.
I have tweaked my CPU thresholds though.
So there is no difference in up or down actions or peak speeds, all of which i reduce
Im using stock rom my SOT is about 5-6hrs tops and i keep seeing people with 10+ SOT with stock rom..
Might be faulty phone? what's you're settings and configs?

Stock mate.
I've used some magisk ROMs then I realised I can actually make the changes I want to myself.
I've used CRDroid and PE but I missed the OOS camera, battery was very similar to what i have in OOS but gaming does burn the candle a lot faster
Here's that list I made in the standby drain the in the review section, I made it a while back so some may no longer apply
"Change 5G to 4G
Remove Facebook use web based
Remove Facebook messenger use web based
Remove Twitter use web based
Remove any ad based apps pay for the pro version
Turn off gestures like lift to wake
Change from QHD to FHD (No difference)
Allow auto brightness
Turn off WiFi overnight
Turn all updates to manual not auto (play store)
Remove any so you don't use
Change back up to once a month (WhatsApp)
Turn off location history (Google)
Use titanium to remove any system apps you don't need
Don't allow anonymous usage statistics for any app ever.
Don't allow tracking cookies on any website
Use adaway (root needed)
Don't open web pages in Google app (I use Samsung browser)
Don't use xposed.
If you game you will not get high SOT scores, period.
Don't bother with battery saving apps or monitoring apps.
Streamline your apps, if you don't use it, remove it.
Don't allow WiFi scanning (as in letting other apps use it when it's not on)
Never allow personalised ads.
Never allow notifications from websites
Always decline cookies unless your absolutely have to allow some tracking (common sense prevails here)
Optimise as many apps as possible unless it affects performance.
Don't allow apps to remain open in the notification area.
Change your launcher, my preferred launcher is lawn chair and this did actually burn up some battery when compared to the OnePlus launcher.
Don't use live widgets (yes they look cool, but they annihilate your battery)
Live wallpaper, again very cool, but battery burners.
Again! Don't charge overnight, make a note of your percentage then see what it is in the morning, you shouldn't be losing more than 5% really, if you've done well then it'll be reflected here, the good SOT results will follow.
Turn off live read outs of network speed, RAM usage in the status bar.
Turn off NFC unless in use.
Leave location on in quick settings.
Don't overcharge your phone, IE: overnight
Don't allow your phone to fully deplete the battery.
Whatever anyone says, this does 100% damage batteries, there is no argument here and I won't entertain anyone who says otherwise, Ive seen through real life tests what this results in, bloated, inefficient, possibly dangerous lithium batteries.
Keep your phone out the sun.
Keep it out of extreme cold.
Keep your device clean dust free.
Snapchat, Viber, house party, apps like that tends to use more battery as they don't have great dormancy periods.
Apps like speed test by Ookla tend to have location tracking, similarly they tend to turn themselves on and off when they feel like it, my advice, install test and uninstall.
Allow a couple of battery cycles between tweaking sets, to give you an idea of how much of a difference you've made.
Use BBS to see what is being used, once you've removed problems, remove BBS.
I've just written this from the top of my head so o probably missed some things, the general idea is to keep your device clean and fresh, remove files you don't need any more.
Keep an eye on apps that misbehave or aren't wanted, index your folders so they aren't a mess
The more good things you do means the more potentially bad apps you can have on your phone, eg if you really need Facebook, you could keep it so long as you clean up other areas of your phone"
Good luck
Based on some years of experience i would add to this amazing and great list:
- Only use either wi-fi or 3g/4G/5g at a time. Alternate between them. ( ex. leave home - off wifi - on 4G, arrive home - off 4G - on Wi-Fi ) Don't use both on all day long. Battery will drain.
- Use sync off ( Playstore (mentioned above) and "sync app data" ). Only turn on when you want the phone to update and shut if off after.
Disabled some weird facebook management apps and it looks a bit better, currently 25hr's with no charge, 68% battery left and 1:48hr's of SOT.
Will test it for few days and update.
Not the most apps used today but still heading for 10 hours.
Lot of painful lost bets today.
Well, my battery now lasts longer on idle, but SOT while using it is still 6hrs
Some other guys from Facebook groups shows about 10hr's of SOT with QHD + 120HZ..

Not sure I can believe that tbh, QHD just kills the battery
