I removed 40% Stuck pixels on my Redmi Note 4 by following method:
I used Cotton swabs and applied firm pressure (don't break your screen) and massaged the screen(pixels) while having a black background.
(just massage on a pixel it can take upto 5 mins to get rid of it)
While doing these i observed formation of new pixels but it got removed eventually.
I'll wait till pixels are uncontrollably large ?

Nice,, Should try it. My screen was perfect (No dead/stuck pixel spotted, maybe there should be one) but when I made a glass replacement, I had got few stuck pixel (3 spotted).

literally out of nowhere, I noticed a small white dot after 4 months of daily use. Could a microscopic drop of water cause this and can it be reversed?
could simply be a pixel that has died......
it does not show in dark background and blooms in a white one. what do you think? is it pixel or something else?

First of all, this is my 5th Nexus 7. First was bought on the Play Store and RMA'd due to screen lift and flicker. The RMA also had screen lift but no flicker, so I RMA'd it and in the process of waiting for Google to send me the new purchase link, I walked into Office Max and walked out with a brand new Nexus 7 with zero issues. Yeah!!!
Well a week later there was an ad on my local Craigslist wanting to trade a white AT&T GS3 for a Nexus 7 straight up. I couldn't pass up the opportunity and made the trade. The next day I sold the GS3 for $380 and then drove over to Office Max and ordered another Nexus 7(they didn't have any in stock this time). It was delivered on Tuesday and had screen lift badly. I took it back to Office Max yesterday and luckily they had one in stock this time and I swapped it out. The Office Max rep opened the box right in front of me so I could assess whether or not it had the screen lift and it didn't. Problem is, when I get it home and turn it on, I see 1 dead pixel in the very bottom left hand corner of the screen. Just one. No screen lift and no flicker(so far). Office Max offers a 2 year replacement warranty for $49.99 that covers pretty much everything no questions asked which I did pay for.
Since this one is flawless except for that one tiny little pixel, in a place that I don't notice unless I am looking for it, I am thinking about keeping this one and keep an eye out for other issues or more dead pixels. My question to the community here is, would you keep it or return it? More than likely they won't have any in stock and I would have to wait for another to be delivered.
Try using a pixel tester app first, sometimes you can wake them up again.

Tried them all. Problem is it's the very corner bottom left pixel which is covered by the nav bar or status bar no matter what way I have it turned. I've tried hiding the status bar and turning it 180° and still didn't work.

On the subject of dodgy pixels, the Australia/NZ specific warranty contains this little gem...

Despite the highest possible standards, the intricate manufacturing of thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) screens may still produce slight visual imperfections. These visual imperfections do not impair the performance of Your Product.
However, ASUS will provide the warranty service for Your ASUS Product's TFT LCD screen only if there are at least:
3 bright dots or 5 dark dots or 8 bright and/or dark dots in total; or
2 adjacent bright dots or 2 adjacent dark dots; or
3 bright and/or dark dots within an area 15 mm in diameter.
(Please note: A bright dot is a white or sub-pixel that is always on under BLACK pattern. A dark dot is a black or sub-pixel that is always off under patterns excluding black.)
Not less than 30cm distance, in a straight line, between TFT screen and inspector
Room temperature between 20-40° C

The above is a get-out clause for Asus if your device has any screen defects less than what is specified. Meaning Asus do not have to replace or fix a device with 2 hot pixels or as much as 4 dead pixels! It's as if they know their product is sh*t so they've included an exemption from being responsible for faulty LCDs. What a joke.

I had already looked into that. If I were to replace it, it would be through Office Max. Like I said, I paid $49.99 for their service protection which does warranty the screen and any defects.
I should have asked, if you had 1 stuck pixel that you barely notice unless you are looking for it and had coverage against it, would you replace it?

The N7 has 1024000 pixels... one pixel is a 0.00009765625% failure rate for that specific device. The idea that they can even reach that level is, when taken in perspective, pretty amazing.
If it were me, the hassle of returning the device and either not having one or having a loaner that doesn't have my apps and isn't set up how I like it far outweighs the hassle of one weird pixel that, as you said, isn't even noticeable unless you look for it. The pixel is a non-issue.

Yesterday night before i went to bed, three blue spots appeared on the screen.
The degree if their appearance depend on the content shown on the screen -
*if viewing bright white light (such as an artical with white background) the spots are nearly invisible
*when darker colors are shown, for example when i pull the statues bar down - the spots are visible and annoying.
*when the screen is completly dark, the blue spots are highly visible

I've never dropped\hit\damaged my phone in any way, i had the case\glass a few days before i even had my phone, and yesterday night those three spots just appeared out of no where - what should i do?
Images not working. I haven't got or seen blue dots on screen before. I would suggest contacting Motorola.

Does anyone know why this happens? I just happened to me after more than six months of peace.
It's happening to a lot of people. Same with me, and the spots on mine were in the center near the bottom of the display.
Happened to me randomly one month after i got the phone. Had to get replacement from moto. Haven't had problems with new. Been about 8 months. Fingers crossed.

I believe these are from pressure against the back of the LCD. After I replaced my screen due to cracks I noticed that I had to play with all 20 screws a lot becasue if even one was too tight it would make a spot on the screen and I had to keep adjusting all the screws slightly, it was like putting a head on an car engine, slightly too tight on one screw would often cause inperceptable torque on the LCD and then a spot would appear above a different screw. Took a lot of adjustment and its still not perfect. From the pictures I'm seeing of the large blue spots and their locations, I'm susupicious something got jarred between the LCD and MB which is very sensitive as I said almoast imperceptable screw torques are enough to cause very similar artifacts (though they could also be just causing some kind of ground issue also, they are dead white with light blue around them, very small becasue the screws are small, and also very particularly pronounced.
So WILD guess is three things:
1 something not sharp or pointed moved somehow and is causing pressure on the back of the lcd directly below the blue spots.maybe those 2 rubber boots that cover two connections (you see them immediately and must remove both when doing anything to the phone after the glued on back is off.
2 LCD Failure
Probably 2 but if you are capable and adventurous check 1. Or ship it if still under warrnaty. Anyone know how long is the warranty? If you buy off of MOTO like I did?
I must be the special one. I have a red dot on mine.
I noticed a vague blue spot in my moto g 2015 today as well. When i press it lightly, the center of the spot turns to a small sharp bright white dot.
I aggree it must be caused by internal pressure. I had the same sort of spot on my HTC Desire. When i replaced the battery, the spot was gone. Turns out a drained/old Li-ion cell expands quite a bit, this caused the pressure from the inside on the screen.
My Moto G is only 6 months old so you wouldn't expect the battery to be faulty yet... Too bad the Moto G doesn't let you replace the battery yourself in an easy way like with my old HTC.
Did anyone experience the spot disappearing after replacing the battery with a fresh one? And does anyone know if old Moto G batteries look thicker than normal after they die?

I've had my S4 for a few years, it is unrooted and running the stock Touchwhiz rom 5.0.1.
Whenever the devices screen is about to turn off it flickers green, it started a few months ago and was hardly noticeable, but within the past few weeks it has gotten worse. It sometimes flickers while in use, but usually on flickers when the screen is about to turn off. It seems to only effect the lower 4/5ths of the screen.

If factory reset doesn't solve it then you should prepare for the screen to die at some point. Or maybe it's the GPU. Either way, something's gonna break.
I had something like this after dropping my phone onto a heavy tiled floor. it started with a dead pixel and whenever the screen dimmed before going off the bottom third of the panel would flicker.
eventually a bright green line went thru that dead pixel from the top to the bottom of the screen.
I lived with it like that for over a year until the digitizer started to become unresponsive.
make sure you get a genuine amoled replacement screen when you finally accept the inevitable. I got conned with a cheap knock off LCD replacement display which has terrible terrible contrast and can't cope with shadows...
I recently noticed that my RN7 has very slight screen burn (or ghosting) all around the edges (like slightly smaller screen protector). I can also barely see some stuck notification icons at the top, so this is definitely burn-in. Mu question is, is burn common on LCD? Or is it because RN7 is just a budget phone with budget screen? Will it also get worse with time?
It's very common on cheap phones (i had the image retention issue on my Mi A2 and Redmi Note 5 too), on the Note 7 i can't see any (maybe just luck), if it'll get worse you can always contact the official support and ask for a replacement (until you're in the warranty period), usually it's not a big problem and It will appear/disappear randomly (or if you keep your screen off for some minutes).
It actually disappeared now... I moved from Beta of xiaomi.eu to Stable and I don't see any "burn". Don't know if it was just a coincidence or what.
