What firmware downloads from sammobile.com are OK for my device?
I have a U.S. AT&T note3 with mi9 firmware and haven't changed it yet
I don't wish to try fixing my phone after using an incorrect download, and Sammobile's device search does not show USA downloads for the N900A. The answer must be obvious, but it escapes me...help?
The firmware are available for two regions: UK (BTU) and the Czech Republic (O2C). You can download these Nougat-based firmware files and flash your compatible Galaxy S7 models manually (you should also be able to update your device through Samsung Smart Switch on your PC). Galaxy S7 edge firmware shouldn’t be far behind, and we will be sure to let you know once those show up in our database.

Yes
Right .. I've been reading and researching this .. but can't find a definitive answer. Perhaps one of you gurus can assist. According to Phone INFO I have the following setup:
Bootloader/PDA/Baeband Version: G935FXXU1DPLT
CSC Version: G935FOXA1DPLT
When I try to use/install the Galaxy Gear VR, I keep getting "network error". From my research, this is linked to the CSC. Question is, how do I restore it to base CSC - without rooting?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

The other thread was created when the full firmware was not available yet, the workaround was to flash mm btu then update to nougat. These are the nougat firmwares as they are now available, not the mm ones. so you just have to flash them and you'll have nougat on your phone.

I haven't flashed a different CSC cause I don't want to lose features such as the Mobile data toggle, currently on the Arab firmware since my phone is a Duos, anyone know if BTU has the Mobile data toggle even on 7.0?

I'm currently downloading the official BTU nougat update for my S7 Edge, as I am currently on an O2 CSC, when flashing the BTU version shall I use the BTU CSC or keep it as Home_CSC?
I'm not worried about the phone being reset as I am currently backing it up in Smart Switch as I type this.
Also if anyone could link me to the best guide to follow in order to go ahead with this please post it here, thanks. :good:
I'm after the same info if anyone can help ?
Hey, I hope someone can help me, I have a sg7 edge and I didn't receive the upgrade to nougat, I downloaded an app to check the CSC to my phone but I found something weird, it doesn't show my CSC and in update firmware says forbidden, do you know why or which firmware is the best for me? My phone is factory unlocked

You want to upgrade only or repair CSC?
If upgrade only, download your ROM from sammobile.com/firmwares. I'm guessing your model is G935FD. Just choose your country. You need basic knowledge of odin to flash.
I can't help for restoring CSC.
csc code lost. Only hope is download firmware from sammobile and flash with odin

Hi,
I am trying to find the correct version of firmware so I can flash it to my unbranded unlocked S20+ (SM-G6986U1).
I flashed using Odin the following version:
PDA: G986U1UES1ATG3
CSC: G986U1OYZ1ATG3
downloaded from Sammobile with a date of 8-3-2020 and all it did was ad a purple theme. Still the phone does not show the wifi calling buttons. I had already registered my EMEI with ATT . Am I missing something?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Rey
You need to flash the firmware for U not U1 with patched Odin. Make sure to also flash the userdata file.
