ATT Firmware for S20+ so I can get Wifi Calling - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Guides, News

Hi,
I am trying to find the correct version of firmware so I can flash it to my unbranded unlocked S20+ (SM-G6986U1).
I flashed using Odin the following version:
PDA: G986U1UES1ATG3
CSC: G986U1OYZ1ATG3
downloaded from Sammobile with a date of 8-3-2020 and all it did was ad a purple theme. Still the phone does not show the wifi calling buttons. I had already registered my EMEI with ATT . Am I missing something?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Rey

You need to flash the firmware for U not U1 with patched Odin. Make sure to also flash the userdata file.

[Q] N9005 Trying to flash to other region firmware failed and bricked

Dear Friends,
I'm using N9005 on this N9005XXUBMJ1 firmware and trying to flash to the newer firmware from other region N9005ZHUDMJ8.
However, I've been getting an error "ext4 img" in ODIN and now my phone cannot boot and stuck on the download mode. So I decided to flash it back to its previous version N9005XXUBMJ1 but still not success and stuck on the same loop.
I have tried doing the emergency recovery from KIES, but having another error "[about] Fused 2 > Binary 1" (on the following screenshot)
Can anybody help me on this problem? I really like the phone and I really need it back.
Thank you
I just solved the problem by myself, it seems that there is a problem with the bootloader on the MJ8 version or something, so I use the MJ6 BTU firmware instead and it works. phewww
Having the same problem...which firmware is MJ6 BTU?
TIA

I think MJ8 is from Hongkong 16GB Model.
Either way the knox warranty void has been triggered. You also have the new bootloader meaning recovery through Kies won't work until your country gets the new bootloader stock.. You are essentially stuck using another countries rom now until your coutry/carrier upgrades their firmware with the new bootloader...
Forget Kies recovery working if things go wrong...

To answer my own question, this is the BTU (United Kingdom) firmware file that saved my otherwise bricked phone which got the MJ8 HK bootloader:

It should be possible, but might fail, so in any case make sure you download both the latest Hong Kong firmware (MK1) and the MJ7 BTU firmware just in case it fails you can flash MK1 on top and your device supposed to work fine.

I don't know much about modems and bootloaders but give this flashable CSC a try:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/samsung-note-4-sm-n910g-aus-csc-t3025921
Just remember to mount system in recovery before flashing.
Why would you use an INU version for an Oz device?

Use different country's firmware

Hi All,
I am looking to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow manually ( I got through an operator in Costa Rica and they are not close to release it).
My phone's model is SM-G900F:
AP: G900FXXU1BOJ1
CP: G900FXXU1BOJ1
CSC: G900FCRC1BOJ1
I found official firmwares on Sammobile for my model but not match my country, so, I am not sure if by installing any of those I will break my phone. I am pretty new on this matter.
Can anyone clarify this? Can I move forward and install it without any issues?

Its doest matter... as long u flash the correct model for ur device.. if u came from kitkat or lollipop and want to upgrade to marshmallow u need to flash bootloader n modem for marshmallow first before flash the firmware...
If firmware from sammobile its already included with bootloader n modem (as i know its was included)..
My original csc is XME... now im using BTU and moded rom (xXx rom)
Send from SM G900F xXx 5.1 Odex Boeffla 2.1 beta3 Twrp 3.0.2-0

Solution for 4G Super-Voice on Three UK

Hi All,
This is a solution I found to get Three's 4G Super-Voice working on a S7 handset that isn't purchased from Three.
I purchased an unlocked and unbranded Samsung Galaxy S7 in the UK at launch and have been using it on the Three network in the UK. As the phone wasn't bought from Three, their 4G Super-Voice didn't work on my phone, and I tested this by buying a PAYG handset from them and putting my SIM in it. At work on my unbranded S7 I had no signal, but with Three's handset I had 2 bars of 4G and could use the internet and make calls. Details from the app Phone INFO:
Original firmware
Bootloader: G930FXXU1DQG1
PDA: G930FXXU1DQG1
CSC: G930FOXA1DQG1
Baseband: G930FXXU1DQD7
Using the brilliant guides on here and firmware from Updato, I flashed the latest H3G firmware (separate AP, BL, CP and CSC) using Odin and can confirm that 4G Super-Voice is now working on my phone. Wi-fi calling also appears as an option in the phone settings, which it didn't previously.
New firmware
Bootloader: G930FXXU1DQGF
PDA: G930FXXU1DQGF
CSC: G930FH3G1DQGF
Baseband: G930FXXU1DQF1
The phone is still showing as Official, and the Knox counter at 0x0. I can't confirm if OTA updates are working as there hasn't been an update yet, but I will post back if and when one is released and if I get a notification to update OTA. I don't have any reason to think that they won't work.
I hope this is of use to someone else looking to solve the same issue.
thanks...but what does it mean (separate AP, BL, CP and CSC)

When you download the firmware file these are the files contained inside when you extract them. If you read the online guides how to flash the S7 using Odin it will be clear.
I had an update on my btu firmware today, I'm interested to see if you have had one yet?

Just checked and yes, there is an OTA software update available. Just about to install...

How would I change CSC on SM-N986B.

I have an unlocked Note 20 Ultra 5G SM-N986B on ThreeUK (H3G). I want to change the CTC to BTG so that I get the unbranded firmware and no ThreeUK software.
I downloaded the BTG firmware via Frija and installed with ODIN, following the instructions in this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...to/ath3-official-stock-fw-updateodin-t4143909.
But its still on the same firmware and CTC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same issues, the flash is successful but CSC does not change

Hey, did you find a solution for this? I have the same problem.
So i am trying to change the CSC of my Galaxy note 20 ultra from DTM to DBT or VD2 ... all of them are a part of OXM multi CSC firmware.
Flashed via ODIN using the right CSC file, and the flash was successful however the CSC did not change ... Tried multiple times and ended up with the same outcome.
Samkey still does not support N20 ultra !!!
I am running the latest firmware with August patches.
Security Patch Level 2020-08-01
Product code DTM - SM-N986B
PDA N986BXXU1ATH3
CSC N986BOXM1ATH3
Help will be highly appreciated.
