Hi All,
This is a solution I found to get Three's 4G Super-Voice working on a S7 handset that isn't purchased from Three.
I purchased an unlocked and unbranded Samsung Galaxy S7 in the UK at launch and have been using it on the Three network in the UK. As the phone wasn't bought from Three, their 4G Super-Voice didn't work on my phone, and I tested this by buying a PAYG handset from them and putting my SIM in it. At work on my unbranded S7 I had no signal, but with Three's handset I had 2 bars of 4G and could use the internet and make calls. Details from the app Phone INFO:
Original firmware
Bootloader: G930FXXU1DQG1
PDA: G930FXXU1DQG1
CSC: G930FOXA1DQG1
Baseband: G930FXXU1DQD7
Using the brilliant guides on here and firmware from Updato, I flashed the latest H3G firmware (separate AP, BL, CP and CSC) using Odin and can confirm that 4G Super-Voice is now working on my phone. Wi-fi calling also appears as an option in the phone settings, which it didn't previously.
New firmware
Bootloader: G930FXXU1DQGF
PDA: G930FXXU1DQGF
CSC: G930FH3G1DQGF
Baseband: G930FXXU1DQF1
The phone is still showing as Official, and the Knox counter at 0x0. I can't confirm if OTA updates are working as there hasn't been an update yet, but I will post back if and when one is released and if I get a notification to update OTA. I don't have any reason to think that they won't work.
I hope this is of use to someone else looking to solve the same issue.
thanks...but what does it mean (separate AP, BL, CP and CSC)

When you download the firmware file these are the files contained inside when you extract them. If you read the online guides how to flash the S7 using Odin it will be clear.
I had an update on my btu firmware today, I'm interested to see if you have had one yet?

To flash cross regional fimrware you need to change you CSC code.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2491877
Also if you flash MJ3 build then your bootloader will be upgraded and you have to stay will MJ3 firmware, you cant then downgrade back to MJ1 firmware

any luck anyone? still getin ext4 error
I want to know this as well. I have Malaysian fw on my phone but I want to switch to BTU. According to what I have read this should work because my current region is XX, however I have seen way too many people getting this ext4 error for me to try it.
Can someone give a definitive answer? I am on MJ3 with a region of XX. Thanks!

How did you flash it to void warranty?
sorry to hijack
but what does BTU stand for?
and what's the two letters before MJ7?
like UBMJ7, what's UB?

CSC code for UK (no carrier) = BTU.
Revision of Android - MJ7, latest version released as of yet...
Not sure about the rest but it appears regional...
Flashed it after running through RDLV but had issues with WIFI and sd card... Flashed extracted modem from MJ6 rom, this sent me into a bootloop. Flashed stock MJ6 rom onto phone and fixed the bootloop but put new bootloaders on. At this point warranty void was 0x0. Tried Kingoapp to root hoping it wouldn't trip counter, it did...
New bootloaders are a mongrel....

Stay away from Kingo/vroot, xda has removed all links and closed the thread. It's full of malware / spyware and will send all personal details to a Chinese Web server.

Make sure you take a backup via Kies if you need personal files
Download the respective stock ROMS from sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com or see thread on Stock Roms on XDA
Extract zip to get tar.md5
Put device into download mode (Vol down+ Home + Power) and Flash using Odin (PDA option)
Wait till device reboots back into Android after completing the flash and recovery
Once device reboots, do a Factory Reset via back up and reset option
Once device reboots after Factory Reset/recovery, enter the google account info and restore settings and then turn off the device
and restart (go into recovery and see the csc btu being applied if yes then stop here,do factory reset and restart)
after this the next steps are optional
Boot device back into download mode (Vol down+ Home + Power)
Re-flash the same downloaded firmware for a second time via Odin
Once the device reboots after the 2nd flash, your CSC should have changed to the CSC of the ROM you downloaded, and Kies also should show that CSC has changed and it should allow future updates via Kies or OTA
check csc by going to stock recoverry it will show manual mode at the bottom and then show btu csc applied
i am now on xxumdj6
Hi. Just a bit confused about my CSC. Currently my phone is on AP: I9505XXUEMKF with CSC: I9505BTUEMK5. As far as I was aware, this is an unbranded CSC for the UK and Ireland? (I am in Ireland). Now my phone was locked to a network but I got it unlocked and the CSC is now this. According to Sammobile, the latest firmware for BTU is I9505XXUENAA but when I connect my phone to kies, it says i have the latest update? Am I missing something big here?

1. The CSC appears close to ur firmware in Kies 3. Like in the 1st pic the CSC is XEU.
2. I9505XXUENAA no is an official update recognized by Kies how u can see in the 2nd pic. Kies 3 recognize that u have the latest update installed. If you want update ur phone by Kies you will have to wait new official update or u will have to use ODIN for install I9505XXUENAA otherways (SamMobile).
I tried that csc the other night, and it loads the Austria/Switzerland stuff on my phone by default......very useful here in the uk.
There is option to select uk/btu but it resets the phone, so Im not spending 3 hours setting up my phone.
Oh, and the mobile data speed seems so crap on that modem compared to mk9....
Thanks for your reply. Do you know whether unbranded phones get updates before branded??

Yes normally.
- Branded phones have to have custom firmware (coz they install their own apps/mods/rebuilts)
- Unbranded handsets can apply new firmware as soon as Samsung releases it (without changes).

Hello,
Yesterday I downloaded the Vodafone Italian Nougat firmware, flashed it and immediately as my S7E turned on I saw that the firmware was wrong.
In fact the firmware is from Germany No Brand, I already downloaded it again just to make sure that I didn't made any mistakes, flashed it again and I have the same problem.
Sammobile take up to 10 days to respond, So I'm asking if anyone else has this problem, or maybe can anyone upload the real Vodafone Italia Nougat firmware:
Model SM-G935F
Model name Galaxy S7 edge
Country Italy (Vodafone)
Version Android 7
Changelist 10422490
Build date Mon, 20 Feb 2017 06:27:00 +0000
Security Patch Level 2017-02-01
Product code OMN
PDA G935FXXU1DQBT
CSC G935FVFG1DQBT
Thanks everyone
your firmware can be download from here.

Thanks, will download, flash and report back here
I downloaded that one myself some days ago and had no issues.
However, I am wondering why did you flash it if it was wrong. You can easily determine it by the filename.
Has your device been on OMN before?

It contains actually several countries but all are Vodafone branded.
Did you have a Vodafone Italy SIM inside when booting up for the first time?

Yes ofcourse, I an prepaid Vodafone SIM installed. The phone was not bought under any contract with Vodafone
the firmware is multi csc files with Germany is the main CSC. we cannot do anything with it. The only way i know how to change the csc fully to your country is via Samsung Service Center or you need to root the device and do it with samsung phoneinfo apps. Root and you will loose samsung pay function/secure folder and any knox related software like shealth
Usually the CSC changes accordingly to the sim inserted. Only if there's no corresponding csc it takes the default one in multi csc roms.
Please download Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and posts screens here to see what's really going on.
Here's the screenshot

Flash your original marshmallow firmware using the CSC. It will factory reset your device
Flash the latest Nougat firmware using the HOME_CSC from your original firmware (can be the marshmallow one or if you have an Nougat one, use this). Don't use the nougat CSC file anymore.
Unfortunately without a Single CSC file you are not getting back to your original CSC and a single CSC has not been published for Vodafone Italy. In case of multi CSC the system uses the CSC already applied or in case of change (since you've BTU at the moment) the standard CSC which is VD2 (Vodafone Germany) in this case.
The only way to change that is with root.

I said using CSC meaning the firmware included all the stuff of your firmware.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Unfortunately that won't help as there's no firmware which only includes Vodafone Italy. There's only one with several European Vodafone settings and if you flash that onto a device with non-Vodafone CSC such as BTU it used the standard CSC included which is Vodafone Germany. I thought first different, too, unfortunately there's no way without root (tested it by myself).
Rooting is out of picture, because I don't want to loose warranty.
I'll try to download and flash Vodafone Italy MM, then flash it, after I'll flash again the nougat with the old MM csc.
Edit: in this case I'll wait for a few weeks until Vodafone Italy will release the proper csc file.
Thanks

Find a firmware without a multi CSC I believe XSA and UK carrier firmwares all are like this.. Check the repartition box. Flash and don't use the Home CSC. Let the phone boot and then flash your multi CSC firmware. That is how I have gotten around it my S7 edge when I was trying to make Samsung Pay work.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. So just confirming before I start, you reckon below are the steps I should take?
1) Flash with a non multi-csc firmware, such as the Australian XSA (check the repartition box, and don't use HOME_CSC)
2) Reboot, then flash again with a multi-csc firmware, such as the Netherland PHN firmware.
And, when flashing do I pick all 4 files in Odin (BL, CP, AP, CSC)?
Thanks for your help.

If you want Samsung Pay works in the USA also then just flash XSA with all the files and don't use home csc and your done.
The only time I had issues is when you want to switch from a multi csc to another multi csc. Example German csc to UK csc because they use the same firmware. That is when I flashed a fixed csc then flashed a multi csc. So I could get the specific csc to work on my phone. Supposedly you can do it differently through the dialer I think. It never worked for me.
I have my s8 and my gf's s7 edge both on XSA because Samsung pay and white pages both work. Only downside is you get updates a month later then BTU.
I hope that makes sense if not pm me.
Thank you. It works as you said.
