Anyone else having issues with Google Music not syncing after you have updated to 3.1?
Yep. Tried this afternoon to play some music but it said my library was empty. I looked in the Accounts & Sync menu and Music is no longer listed as a sync handler.
Most disappointing.
No issues here... everything is syncing up fine

Update your Music app and restart. If that doesn't help then clear Music app data and restart again.
Anybody have any updates on this?
I just got my galaxy tab 10.1 and when I open Music it says my library is empty even though I have tons of songs synced. Google Music works perfectly on my Nexus One - how do I get it working on my Tab?
Thanks!
EDIT: Fixed it. I cleared Data and rebooted. When I opened google music, I could see the Setting option in the menu (was not there before). It is working great now!
I had a quick look through this area and didn't see anything about it so hopefully someone will be able to help.
I was running stock 4.2.1 unlocked and rooted on my Nexus 7 and everything had been fine but in the last couple of days 3 apps haven't been able to update properly.
The Play app tried to update Nexus Media Importer, BBC iPlayer and Facebook but every time it tried it left a message for each saying:
"Update for <app name> could not be downloaded due to an error (Error while retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-5:AEC-0])"
Everything else seems to work OK and my Nexus has just updated to 4.2.2 but the error persists.
I tried uninstalling Nexus Media Importer but get a similar error when trying to reinstall it.
I looked in 'Storage' and found that somehow it was using .98GB of my RAM so I uninstalled some stuff and got it down to 748MB (still a lot?) but still I cannot install Nexus Media Importer or update BBC iPlayer and Facebook - same error.
Any ideas? I can browse and do everything else so my Internet connection is fine and my 'phone updated BBC iPlayer and Facebook without any problems so it's definitely local to the Nexus.
Also what does 'Apps (app data and media content)' refer to other than the obvious? It shows pictures, videos, downloads, etc. separately and I don't have that many apps installed so I'm bothered as to why it's using so much RAM. (All cache is cleared, BTW)
Searching here I found something about stopping Google Services Framework and clearing data followed by a restart but that didn't do it, also I have a second Google Play account so I switched to that but it was the same.
In case anyone goes looking for the same problem in future, the cure was to delete the main email account that the Play store uses (Settings / Accounts / Google), then recreate it and all will be well. It will delete emails, calendar entries, etc. but they'll be reloaded when you log back in so nothing will be lost.
I have an Axon 7 that was purchased shortly after release in the US. I have been using it for over a month now, and I find it to be a great phone. I am astonished at the quality of the pictures you can take with it. I should point out that compared to most of the members of this forum I would probably be considered a rookie. Anyway, I am having issues in 2 areas.
One is with it's syncing with my Exchange accounts (of which I have 2). I receive all of the emails timely. However, often after I have read them on the Axon 7, they still show up as unread when I use my Outlook client. Furthermore, when I edit a contact on the phone, the edits do not show up for the contact when I go to the Outlook client. Using the phone to look at contacts, I am unable to get to the Notes I have entered using my Outlook. Lastly, I have events which I have scheduled using my calendar in Outlook that are a month out from the current date. They do not show up in the Calendar on the Axon 7. Anybody have any suggestions?
The second is with the playing of .wav file attachments from emails. When someone calls my office and leaves a message with the voice mail system, the voice mail system sends me an email with the message attached. I have several apps on the Axon 7 for playing audio: ES Media Player, Google Play Music, Music, Rocket Player, VLC, and Winamp. None of them are able to play the .wav file. The attachment shows up, and I can download it, but nothing on the phone will play it. I know the .wav file is good because it shows up in the Outlook client, and I can play it from there. I also have a colleague to which these messages get forwarded. She is able to play them on her Galaxy S6 phone with no problem.
The Axon OS is Android 6.0.1 and it appears to be using the B27 update. The phone is absolutely box stock. About the only other matter of note is that the phone it replaced was a Galaxy S5. When the new phone had the new, nano-sim installed and powered up, it automatically installed all of the apps which were on the old phone. However, none of the settings for the apps from the old phone carried forward. I had to re-do these settings for each app which I am attempting to use.
TTT!
Come on forum members. Surely someone has an idea on how to solve my issues.
I have no problem playing .wav messages from my exchange account. When I click the message, it downloads, then I open the message from the notification panel with VLC. Automatically plays fine.

Your problems seem to all be with the email client in the phone - don't use it. I do everything you do when you have problems, but I have no problems. I also use the Gmail app instead of the phone's built in email. Try using a different email app
Hello all,
I'm having this really weird issue where after I recently wiped and freshly updated my Galaxy S7 Edge to Nougat, I started using Samsung's default messages app to see if I'd like it. Well long story short I decided to switch back to Google Messenger like I always do on every device I've owned, but when I install the app, and set it up. NONE of my SENT messages are imported to the app. Only the RECEIVED messages from my contacts. Every message I've sent to any and all of my contacts AND *some* messages received are just completely missing. I have no way of exporting the messages via the Samsung app to then import into google messenger, and I've tried using third-party apps and Samsung smart switch to backup the messages and then restore them, but they all only see and backup the received messages, and not the ones I sent.
This problem is only for the messages I've sent and received since the day I updated my phone and started using Samsung messages. Any conversations older than that, transfer successfully to google messenger.
I don't think Nougat or the update is the issue, but rather with something in samsung messages. I could really use some help! Thanks!

Anyone? I've had to post this in two separate places to no avail.
Same here but I'm trying to switch back to my Nexus 6p. I've had limited success with SMS Backup & Restore. Not all of the messages are pulled out of the stock Samsung messenger. It cannot transfer everything over. Did you ever find a solution?
(HELP)
I have been using two accounts of Whatsapp beta on my N20U (India).
In the last update, there seems to have been a change in the storage location of Whatsapp Media.
For the regular app - its moved from /Whatsapp/Media to /Android/media/com.whatsapp/Whatsapp/Media.
Problem is for the DualApp Whatsapp install. Earlier the media was stored in /DualApp/Whatsapp/Media. But after the Whatsapp Beta update, I cannot seem to find where the DualApp Whatsapp stores the media. Can anyone tell me where to look for the media?
Even when trying to "View Media in Gallery" - it says media cannot be found.
