Delete Huawei ID - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys; I have two Huawei IDs: A, the one that I want to delete because I have created B
A is associated to an email address that was deleted.
B is a new account
I can't delete A from my device because I need an AuthCode from A's email.
How can I delete Huawei ID settings? I have tried by cleaning app data but it didn't work

Hi, factory data reset delete HWid.
But if you don't want loose data you can try delete the file "accounts.db" located "/data/system/users/0"
Then you have to recreate all others accounts...
Be careful if you decide edit this file because you can end into bootloop, and then only factory data reset it solve this.
Good luck!

WM5 cannot install, uninstall, delete

Hello,
I am ****ed. I did nothing in particular except installing some new programs especially in the last phm regedit (but i did not use the prog) and suddenly the following problem occured.
1. I cannot see any applications listed in the "Remove Programs" views
plus
2. I cannot delete any Files in the whole System, no matter built in, or storage card
It seem that I have lost all my permissions.
The only thing I can still do is editing the registry as it seems.
I cannot backup anything. I cannot install any new programs.
If I have to hard reset now I will loose all my contacts since I only have half of them on my simcard.
Please help me out somehow.
What do I need to change in the registry, in order te be able to do something again (at least install a backup programm in order to keep my contacts).
Or,how can I save all my contacts to sim - I could not find this option in the contacts view.
Please .. desperately help needed.
D
I rekon you'll need to hard reset and lose all your contacts. That'll learn you for not having them all backed up, eh?
Also, Please don't swear in the thread title. Some people read this at work.
Sync your contacts with pc and you'll save all.
@No.1 ... yes, I removed that bad word from the title and already am happy again with my "new" hard-resetted Wizard... only needed approx. 3 hours for everything
I was very upset when I wrote the above, since Sprite Backup does not work at the moment and I rely normally 100% on it
@No.2 ... also yes ... an older company laptop with Active Synch installed saved many of my contacts
there is a file in the root directory called pim.vol. This contains all of your contacts, call history info, tasks and calendar data (maybe some other stuff I haven't figured out yet too). Copy this to a storage card, hard reset, drop it back into the root directory and overwrite the new one, soft reset and all of your info is back. Anytime I add a new contact or important calendar info I back up my pim.vol just incase something bad happens and I need to hard reset.
wow ... thanx very much for the heads up ... I am this will save me from a lot of future troubles

Help in restoring Contacts

hi, i had this problem and to solve it i did a hard reset. with sync i let it backup my contacts and documents and the folder is located on my hard drive under MyDocuments. The problem is that i did a hard reset and i was able to restore all my contacts and information. But it froze up again and i had no choice to do a hard reset causing me to lose all my information. Now i tried restoring all the info by just dragging all the files under documents back onto the phone. The problem is that my contacts are not being restored onto my phone. I have no idea what to do, i have prolly tried hard reset three times to see what i can do, but no good. My contacts list is just blank and i dont know where the actaully file is located ( dont know how to find it either) PLEASE help me....

please help recover from factory reset

Hey guys,
I'm glad to discover you!
I have a friend of mine has a Motorola MB525 and her kid made her a Christmas present early this year: factory reset.
The problem is that she didn't create a google account, so the contacts were not synced with google. And no backup to the external SD was made, unfortunately.
I don't use android devices so this is a bit new for me, and I don't want to make any mistakes.
There must be a way to recover it. I mean, a factory reset deletes the data, as a (quick) format does on a hard disk, but there are applications like get data back for NTFS or FAT to recover it (and R-STUDIO - there are a lot).
Now I have the welcome/first set-up screen. I didn't go with the set-up process, so I won't override any data.
How can I get those contacts back? Should I go woth the set-up process, install a file explorer and search the device for the files? Are they still there? Any ideas? PLEASE there were 900+ contacts and she can't get them back.
Don't get me as a noob, I work in IT, so I can do it with just a hint, but as I told you, android is a foreign OS for me, so I don't want to make any wrong step. Those contacts are crucial!
Thank you so much in advance!
Merry Christmas! Or Happy Holidays!
Best Regards,
Andrei
i don´t know any method that can help you, i really don´t know what is the precess that the phone follow to reset, but if is a format your posibilities to recover your data are so little
possibility?
Maybe if I create an entire image of the system? A .img, .imc or .vim so I can bring it to a data recovery software such as getdataback?
Any idea how to create this image file of the system?
Thanks in advance!

L.E.: Guys!
I found some apps that REALLY get data back if it is recently deleted and not over written. Now I just need to mount the system partition so I can access it from windows or to clone it to PC or SD card and access the Card.
How can I do that please? I need to CLONE it not to copy the files, because the copy and paste will only copy the visible files. The clone or mount will give access to the deleted files also.
L.E.2: Can this help? h ttp:/ / w ww.softpanorama. o rg/Tools/DD/recovery_of_lost_files_using_dd.sh t ml
Thanks!

no wifi no imei after restoring from stock recovery

Hi, everybody. A friend of mine is stuck with no wifi, so no mac address registered and no imei.
I need somone to check for if the file containing this info is nv_data.bin or .nv_data or anything like this because I can't any file close to this one. I found a method to restore from nothing but I need I think a file called nv.qcn. And I could manualy editing the file to add my own imei and mac address.
Can someone help me?
Nobody has qcn backup? Pleeeease!
You need to be careful with files like those. Have you tried a factory reset? Using MifFlash doesn't wipe data, if that's what you're worried about. It will probably be a good idea to backup to PC or microSD card, though.
After resetting and still no IMEI, I'll suggest this guide. It helped me restore mine when it accidentally got wiped a while back.
