I dont know if this also works on the nexus, but i just did a factory wipe reset on my g1 back i the day to remove the other persons account and then just re-sign in with your own accont at the initial setup wizard.
I already instaled a new copy of cyanogenMod and i have done a factory wipe from the menu.
I thought it was enough.....sthil asking from previous owner details.

so the intial setup wizard doesnt pop up after a wipe or reflashing cyanogen?
Yes it pops up....when i put the my details says ask from the detail from the previous user...
thats weird, ive even signed in on my g1 with multiple gmail accounts...So you type in your gmail adress and your password and it asks for other information?
The problem is when try to open the market.

one of my friend in canada , he forget the pattern of his screen locked phone and he attempted too much , Now phone is asking for Email and Pw.
he tried his gmail and gmail pwd but didnt worked,
can any one help to unlock this....?? what email and pwd phone is asking .... any idea.
is there any adb command through which his problem can be solved.....

Phone is locked now with so many patterns attempt. Now asking for Email and Pw.
I have tried the gmail account with the pw on HTC screen that i remember but didn't work. Then i tried on Google website sign in screen but my gmail account and pw didn't work. so that's mean i definitely forget my pw. If i reset my pw it will take 24 hrs to receive my new pw but that new password doesn't guarantee that will work on HTC according to forum postings.
Once you have a working gmail password, you will be able to login.
Alternatively, though kind of pointless with your gmail password, wipe the device and install a new rom.
for fear of being castrated in the Android thread, im asking this here :
Im following the above thread and using android on my handset, but the build I have, I believe its the most recent, is already assigned to a google account, [email protected].
I cant access the marketplace etc because i cant log in on that account, and it wont let me set mine as a preference.
I also cant reset to original settings, because the build freezes when trying to do that.
How is everyone getting around this?
delete your data.img file and you will be able to go through google setup and set your own user/pass
PS: it will take a while to start back up after you do this due to it rebuilding the data file

i've correctly activate my copy of WP7 with Activation Key.. on ABCDEFG(at)hotmail.com (example).. this is my account that i've always use with MyPhone or various services.. it has sync all the thing.. and give me a new gamertag but there is the problem... my XboxLive account is QWERTYUIO(at)hotmail.it(example).. is different from that i have used to activate my phone.. so my question is.. how can i link my xboxlive account on my windows phone 7?
EDIT: ok, on microsoft site said that it's impossible to link an xboxlive account to another.. so.. can someone explain how to delete first email address and replace with xboxlive address?
without reflash my rom.. and then.. if i reflash my rom.. and i want to use another account.. can i use same activation code?

only hard reset can fix that .
no need to get new key , you can use the key on more email accounts.
well, solved! just reflash my phone and at first configuration after unlock, i've used xboxlive email address with same activ key thx

you will find there is a option gmail account password recovery
go there & fill your gmail id (which you use in phone for email market) & gmail password it will open
if u don't sync with gmail account FLASH new ROM
but i dont remember which account i used, how can i flash a new rom ?

Well I got my 10 year old son Nokia 6 TA-1021 recently ...
My mistake i didnt help him set it up and he created new email address and while setting up pattern he forgot the pattern ....
anyhow, i stepped in and did a hard reset from recovery ...
issue is ... now startup is stuck at "The device was reset. To continue, sign in with google account that was previously synced on this device" ...
and he has no idea what email address .... he does remember the password .. there was no backup phone number or email address setup ...
What are my options ?
How can I get email address name ? Or is there any way to skip that ? There are some videos on youtube to bypass it but none works ...
Can I contact google to just get the email account ?
What if I install stock rom ? Will it fix this ?
Any suggestion will be appreciated ..

well you might try and reset the password of the email by putting the right answers to the questions
you can do this by signing in gmail and put the email and click forgotten password then it will show you questions you need answer like when did you create the google account etc. good luck
Edit i just read it and it was the email so i think the only thing you can do is go for the service center
