It's about a year that I've been having this problem. When I try to call someone there is no problem but when someone tries to call me they can't reach me. Not always but often. My phone is rooted and running stock MM.
So, what to do?

My sgs and gairlfriends has become a nightmare to make and receive call on both ocasionaly drop calls without loosing signal then if you try and ring the person back or anyone it takes forever to connect or jus doesent, if they try and call you back it wont let you pick up, oh and sometimes the call will stay connected but there is no sound. This all started to happen about three weeks afer we got our phones.
Iv tried flashing to jm2 but still getting same problem. And resetting phone when this all starts to happen most of the time dont help you just have to w8 4 it to stop.
Anyone got any ideas what this is or has anyone had same problem?
Which country are you from and which carrier are you using? Sounds like it might have something to do with the availability of good network protocol providers.
Were both orange uk. Signal is usually ok when this happens. Seems more like the phone itself as sometimes it wont even lef me answer the call.
Bump. .......
Try to contact your carrier's customer service. Chances are, they'll be of much more use than any of us here. Good luck.
Hi Guys,
I have a major problem here. I got nexus 4 imported to india. I use it with airtel network one of the bests here.. previously i was using win 7.8 phone without any issues. Since the time i've started using nexus 4 my gf is complaining my phone will be not reachable most of the times.. once if she sends a msg she will be able to call. and the problem i myself have seen is like sometimes when i try to call a number right next second it gets disconnected and the phone vibrates, once i tired to call a number for 15 times all the attempts. if i try after sometime it will work. the network bars will always be full. the same thing happens when i try to use 3g. I am still in stock rom. nothing much installed. shud i try a factory reset . please help guys.
Same Problem
I am facing similar issues, with network disappearing after every call for some time. Also data capabilities are greatly reduces compared to my previous phone, even though i am using the same network Airtel

In my case after 10-20 mins i will get a miss call. Looks so weird.
If somebody tried to call me most of the time they will get messages like i am not reachable. After 2-3 minutes i will get a miss call alert. And sometimes after 10-20 mins i will get a miss call.
My phone is Nexus 4, 4.4.2
Since the last marshmallow update, when i try to make a call,my phone soft-reboots each time, making impossible to make a call and i was forced to stop using it as my main phone...
Can someone help me with how to fix that problem please?!
Hello, I would really appreciate your help on this problem I'm having.
My nexus 6p was working fine on marshmallow, one day I installed an ota update and lost signal, my phone showed no service, after that I spent a lot of time on researching untill one day I tried to restore an efs backup from someone else's phone and it was fixed, I got my signal back, the only problem is that the signal drops constantly which makes it unusable, sometimes I am on a call and it loses signal then comes back, I have tried everything from flashing stock, different radios, locking the bootloader, flashing chroma rom, changing radio bands...
I am getting frustrated, please help.
hey, tell me about that restore efs using someone elses phone. Where did you got it, can you help me? Im without service going crazyyy
Hi,
need help with 3s. Phone lately drops signal on no reason. When I unlock the phone signal comes back sometimes in 30sec, 3min, sometimes in 5min but its very uncomfortable when I have to chceck sth on internet or f.e. buy ticket quickly - impossible. Sometimes i can't send text or dial a number. Sometimes when phone is locked nobody can call me, sometimes it works properly. Factory reset is done and no change. Is that problem with stock ROM or sth broke inside phone?
Somebody had the same problem?

Hello, i use stock rom and no problem about signal, stock rom is the best one, every feature works well in stock rom, and the battery life is better than custom rom, but not at peformance, why not trying to re flash your phone? , If problem persist, it's mean a hardware problem.
Thanks for answer.
