Serious signal problem - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I would really appreciate your help on this problem I'm having.
My nexus 6p was working fine on marshmallow, one day I installed an ota update and lost signal, my phone showed no service, after that I spent a lot of time on researching untill one day I tried to restore an efs backup from someone else's phone and it was fixed, I got my signal back, the only problem is that the signal drops constantly which makes it unusable, sometimes I am on a call and it loses signal then comes back, I have tried everything from flashing stock, different radios, locking the bootloader, flashing chroma rom, changing radio bands...
I am getting frustrated, please help.

hey, tell me about that restore efs using someone elses phone. Where did you got it, can you help me? Im without service going crazyyy

No Reception

Hey guys,
I have been using the P3400 for quite sometime, it has an amazing reception quality. But a month ago, it decided to mess with my head and now it wont give me reception properly, sometimes it connect after 10 long minutes of searching for a network and sometimes it doesn't get any reception. I have tried cleaning out the sim compartment but it still has the same problem. I have also tried changing ROMS but nothing really happens, the problem persists.
I would appreciate any kind of help with this issue.
Thanks.

[Q] HTC EVO gets no mobile Signal but can do 4G

Hello, I've been trying to get my Evo to work but it seems to just have given up on getting signal. Before I start, I'll say that I dropped my phone in water, and did the rice trick. It worked flawlessly for a whole day, but starting last night, it just stopped getting signal at all. I am rooted, I was on Fresh 4.2.0 and I used ROM manager to flash. I even tried flashing the latest radio (EVO_Radio_2.15.00.11.19_WiMAX_27167_R01_PRI_1.77_003_NV_1.90.003.zip) and still have no luck.
Everything on the phone seems to be working fine except the mobile network and the GPS can't get my location anymore either. I just don't understand why it would randomly cut out and say there's no mobile network. This morning, I did a recovery to my restore point on fresh 4.2.0 and it worked for like 5 minutes and stopped. I just tried restoring to CM 6 and it still isn't working. I really don't think its hardware since everything else seems to be working on it. Do you guys have any ideas on how I can fix this? I'd really appreciate any help that could be thrown my way.
Thanks in advance

Signal problems after flash.

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I've flashed new Phoenix rom on my i9505 and since then I have signal problems. I'm in great signal area and sometimes I have full 3g and sometimes (in the same place) I have no signal, just the crossed circle. The weirdest thing is that when I have crossed circle I can't call anywhere, but if somebody tries to call me, everything is working like if I had signal... Please, help me. I'll just overtake your replies about flashing new modem, because I've tried about 5-6 modems... Or maybe I flashed wrong ones? Waiting for your replies.

N910C emergency calls only... again

Hey, so 9 months ago I had the same issue that probably has a different cause now. Back then, I used to get the emergency calls only error and my efs was corrupted because of flashing CM13). I fixed it by restoring the nv_data backup I took. Now, I get the same **** all over again, except this time; I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH. The phone went off on it's own, along with the very ability that classified it as a phone.
The IMEI number hasn't changed at all. I mean why would it, I did nothing that could cause this. Flashing new roms doesn't fix this, and neither does that mystical voodoo **** (reinserting the sim-card so many times that you see gold contacts in your sleep). Oh, and I lost the SD card with the original backups on it.
Whenever I try to connect to a carrier by the network operators screen, it just times out. So is there anyway I can fix this? Or at least PINPOINT the problem so I can fix it?
Oh, and there's a thing going with the IR blaster too. It's dead. How would I go about changing the blaster out? It doesn't seem openable like the S4 I had was (metal frame).
Bump
bump once again
Oh come on, nobody has a clue?
Hi @Peontikos_Desmos, actually I have the same problem as you. I have a Korean note 4 n916k and since 1 month I have this strange problem too. I tried everything I know, reflashing original roms from Samsung(android 5.0.1, 5.1.1, 6.0.1), many custom roms ..., ... No way, no solution. The only thing that I tried to make my phone working as phone is just put the network mode in setting to 2G, not 3G, nor 4G, just 2G. With 2G only as network mode, the emergency calls only disappeared BUT now I can't connect to 3G and 4G anymore. Please please help us guys.

Nexus 6P: Cannot make or receive calls, but both Data/Texting Works

Hey guys, I've been struggling with this for past 2 days with a phone I bought second hand.
I backed up my EFS/IMEI before I rooted my phone and stored it on my computer.
All phone functionality works besides making and receiving phone calls. I am in Australia on the Optus network.
I've tested my current sim in another Nexus 6p and it works completely fine.
I've tried installing both countless number of stock and custom roms, to try and fix the issue but nothing is working. I've tried both
6.0.1 roms, and 7.00 roms.
Also my IMEI is showing in the settings, and I've also tried restoring my EFS backup but nothing has changed. I've tried
changing my Radio bands through dialing *#*#4636#*#*, but it still can't fix the problem.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
A guy with an iPhone had the same issue a few days ago he had to ship his phone off I didn't ask why they didn't just send him a new phone first. Usually what they do.

Having the same issue on my girls phone tried everything you just said and no luck.
Yeah i still have no idea what the issue is
So it turns out Australia has 2 years google warranty, I just called support about the issue, and they are now sending me a replacement.
Got to love their warranty
