If you can still get into TWRP then there's a flashable system.img and boot.img.
If not then you're sol.

I had a loop(seems common) after root that showed twrp but didnt let me access it. I relocked the device through adb which wiped it clean then reunlocked and i was able to boot into twrp and flash the proper zips in the correct order. Hope you get it going.
If you made a twrp backup prior to rooting. Will twrp allow you to restore from that backup? Or tot file and special ddl are needed

Turn the phone off, hold vol down and plug in the usb cable. If that boots you into fastboot try locking the bootloader to wipe it.

Okay, I tried porting a rom to the mytouch and it wouldnt boot after full wipe. So I said okay and tried wipeing it once more to install synthetics_aospX back on it. It wouldnt format the system and gave me an error(4EXT RECOVERY; also I didnt write the error code thing down). Then it tried to wipe data and just hung for like 20 minutes and I pulled the battery. Now everytime I try to boot up it just goes to a black screen and flashes on and off. I cant boot into bootloader or recovery. Any help would be appriciated! Also I am s-off and rooted with eng. bootloader.
If you can get into the bootloader you can try either flashing a PD15IMG.zip or, alternatively, reflash your recovery through fastboot and try again.
fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img
Also, if you have a nandroid you can pull the img files and flash them through fastboot.

If holding down volume down while booting does not lead you to the bootloader, you're done. It's over. It sounds like you have corrupted the bootloader. You didn't replace the updater.script with one from our device, did you?

Are you able to boot your 6P into recovery (TWRP) ?
Seems like he can ("try and start from twrp").
Solutions:
1. Fastboot flash factory image if you want to go back to complete stock.
or
2. Boot to TWRP. Connect the phone to your computer. Transfer any ROM zip you want to flash to the phone, TWRP supports MTP so you shouldn't have any problems copying the file. Factory reset (wipe data, cache, ART and system) from TWRP. Flash the ROM and gapps. Et voilà, your phone is back to normal!

If you're able to boot into TWRP recovery. Connect your 6P to the PC and enable MTP inside TWRP > Mount. You can then transfer the ROM and GApps, and flash them.
By "deleting the OS", I hope you didn't mean that you erased the partitions using fastboot erase command?

Then simply connecting in MTP mode (TWRP), transferring the ROM and GApps, and flashing them, would do the job.
Easiest is if you made a backupin twrp. Just restore "boot" "system" and "data". Dont mess with "system image" in twrp restore.

Alright, Here's the whole thing so when it was just a bootloop I did a wipe within TWRP but did advanced wipe and clicked system. and wiped it. now I can plug in my phone into my pc. and detect it get it connected to ADB but only when in TWRP so when it is in bootloader my phone is not being detected... so can not go any further than that step to flash the factory image.

If you're not getting a fastboot connection while connected in bootloader mode then your drivers are most likely the problem. It might be an idea to remove the toolkit and install adb and fastboot via the Android SDK, you'll find instructions in my guide:

I also rooted the phone using this method not sure why your phone got into bootloop. What twrp did you flash? 3.0.2? Because that one is for marshmallow.

Flash the original recovery and then put firmware(dload folder) in your sdcard and turn on your phone by pressing all buttons. The update should start automatically. Just wait 10~15 mins(even if the screen is black).

Hi everyone, i have an Oneplus 8 pro BA european one.
I was in 10.5.6 rooted and with xXx rom 11.0
I did this to install 10.5.8 update:
Before all Disable all magisk modules
- Update the Rom: settings> System> System upgrade. WITHOUT REBOOT;
- Open Magisk Manager;
- In Magisk Manager, click on Install/Install/Direct Install;
- Again in Magisk Manager, click on Install/Install/Inactive Slot;
- Reboot.
After reboot magisk seems to be unnistalled:
https://ibb.co/55hJjwH
And also i cant enter into bootloader, i tried first selecting bootloader mode after pressing power buttom,
but in enters in recovery mode not bootloader mode. Then i tried to use ADB commands, adb reboot bootloder. It goes
into recovery again. Finally i tried to select bootloader mode in the recovery, but nothing...
Any idea?

Hm...I'm in a similar constellation, after update to 10.5.8 I lost magisk and so root. Somehow the extraction of 10.5.8's boot.img and conversion into magisk_patched.img didn't help me regain boot, but ends in crashdump. But from here, I always can get back to bootloader with long pressing vol+ and power, when screen turns black let go both buttons and immediately press vol- and power which brings me back to recovery, from here into bootloader. reflash stock boot.img and I'm fine, but still no root, of course.
ok now, did you try to simply reflash 10.5.8 from settings/system/systemupdate/local upgrade? :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

try flashing the stock boot.img to both slots ... fastboot set_active (slot), do this for each slot. then fastboot flash boot boot.img (in my case it doesn't matter which slot is set active, my OP8pro does boot anyway). then fastboot boot boot.img. good luck:fingers-crossed:

Hi, I've been using a Motorola Moto G6 Plus for quite a long time now. However, I can't figure out why it doesn't show any boot logo at startup, getting a black screen but a USB signal to my PC in fastboot mode (PC detects it at Fastboot evert S, which is good). Can anyone tell me or help me figure out why this phone isn't giving me boot logo's and fastboot?
First of all i wanna make clear that:

2. Can you reboot to recovery?
3. You have Root access in your phone?

Yes, the system works as normal. It runs stock Android 9, not rooted. It doesn't have any recovery installed, and when I try to reboot to ADB, it gives the same black screen as the boot logo and bootloader. The screen is slightly lighting up, so I know it powers up, but it doesn't give the screen I want, the default bootloader screen.

OK, so first of all i wanna make clear that you don't use this phone as primary phone because unlocking bootloader and Flashing have chances that your data might be erased, so BACK Up all of your DATA to a safe place before doing this.
If everything is set, Lets move ahead by unlocking your phone's bootloader and flashing. Watch this this tutorial:
Download boot.img file of your phone &
After that boot your phone in fastboot mode connect it to PC and, type this command in CMD fastboot flash boot (boot.img path)
Hope this helps!

I didn't read your message fully, so didn't back up my phone... Lucky me this isn't my primary phone and it didn't erase anything. It didn't help me though.
Edit: Now that I try booting into Android, it gives the same black screen as the bootloader and logo. I'm starting to think that it unfortunately erased my phone.
