Now i have another problem with the camera.. As you see below, sometimes i open the camera and it can't focus.. or it focuses at the center of the screen, and it is blurry at the edges.. What could cause this problem??

Did you tried any third-party camera app? if not, please do and you'll know whether its a hardware or software issue.

yes it annoys me so much
Could you be a little more specific? I am not having any problems with focus, especially if you can focus by tapping the part of the picture you want focus at!
Best,

Well, my task this weekend was to go to some dealer's store and test the S4's camera on the display units.. (I9500 as there's no I9505)...
I noticed the difference in between these 2
Faster focus and capture on the I9500
Less blurry shot on the I9500..
My I9505 really outperformed by the I9500 and I am kinda a disappointed I9505 user now after all I read good reviews.
I am sure something must have gone wrong with the I9505
P.S: The plastic is for sure being removed and outdoor daylight my I9505 has crystal clear picture but not when indoor even when you have good lighting..
Rear facing camera not working
My sister just got a i9505 from the UK.
The rear-facing camera doesn't work, meaning that it's just showing black, but you can still see the on-screen menu buttons.
The front-facing camera works fine.
I tried to ODIN back to stock, but it failed since the device came with a locked bootloader.
I restored it to the latest stock firmware using Samsung KIES, but that didn't make a difference. Any suggestions before I have her send it back for a refund?

[Q] Camera issue

Hi,
When i take pictures with the note 3 i noticed some black bars on the screen and processed pictures. This mostly appears to happen when focusing. Not always, but mostly on low light situations.
So i returned my note 3 a couple of days ago and received a new one. I couldn't believe my eyes when the exact same thing happened with the new one.
So i want to ask you all to look closely at your screen when taking a photo in a comparable low light situation. You have to seek for it but it might happen. I managed to take some photo's of this phenomenon. See the photo's in the dropbox link.

Thanks so much !
Did you took off the plastic film on the camera lens ?
This happens when you are connected to wifi. Vertical black lines.

Reservin, Does Samsung know about the wifi noise problem leaking into low light camera photos ? ( I learned of this problem from you - thanks ).

Nexus 6P Black spot in Camera

Hoping someone might have an answer to this, it was working fine but all the sudden a black spot appeared out of no where. is there a way to fix this or RMA is the only option?
It looks like dirt to me ? It´s because of the shading. Are you sure that the lens is 100% clean and is this spot also visible if you film stuff ?

It does look like something got in there. I clean the lense and even gone as far as factory reset or tried different camera app. No go. What's strange is when going to video it's not there.
Scratching my head on this one.

Ouch. That's odd. I would suggest removing the visor but I wouldn't do it on my own. It's physical and not software related. How did anything get in there did you take the visor off before
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Did you end up doing an RMA or fixing the problem another way? I just encounter the same thing. Saw someone else post on Reddit that they dealt with it too but after they dropped the phone it went away.
It's a piece of dust on one of the lenses or sensor. It doesn't show on video because it 's right up at the edge of the screen, and gets cut off with a different aspect ratio. Assuming you didn't damage it to allow dust to get in, you should be able to exchange it.

Dead camera pixel

Are these dead pixels? I have found 13 on my SGS7E
Can anything be done other than an RMA?
Thanks

Not sure but I was on APF2 and now on APFG and I have never seen this hot pixel again. And from what I saw people who reported this problem are all on APEQ firmware. So I assume it's the problem.

think that its software problem but not sure (APEQ). Samsung France said I should give my device to the nearest repair center cause of the possibility that will be the hardware problem. I didnt give it for now... Anyone try with stock firmware?
I am shure You shut the pic in HDR on mode. And when you take several pictures the hot pixels apear in the same Position, that why i think it is hardware related isue. Also it show that only the Samsung Sensor ist affected.

Samsung insisted my phone needed to be repaired for this. Just got it back and the problem remains! do they not even check before they ship them back!?
I also sent my phone to repair. There are 2 hot pixel at the center of the sensor, only appears in HDR mode.
Firmware info: 2016-09-08, Spain, G935FXXU1BPHJ
If they don't fixit, I'll insist until the problem be solved

Finally, customer service repaired mine, changed the camera module. Now I don't have any hot pixel even in HDR mode. :victory: :good:
Fast service, I thought that this task would take more time
