Hi i have this issue since i switched from CM13 ROM to a stock one, i am constantly getting low disc space, i checked storage under my settings and system is taking way much 8 GB i think because CM13 uses another kind of file system than stock , i wiped and flashed a stock ROM fresh install and i am still getting that huge system android space
Any suggestions ? i appreciate any thanks

Well, i've just repaired my phone phone the bootloop but in the app managment it only says I have 128 mb when in a normal case I should have 1.2gb can anybody help me!? It's making me nuts!
Well... my experience, with a stock rom is Android will try to use all memory and then free up memory as needed. Are you experiencing lag or anything you could attribute to memory issues? Ironically, on a different forum, a user found that a memory manager recommended by CNET, was constantly using Rich Clipboard to sync with some on-line source causing huge resource issues.
My solution was to shut off my taskmanager so it wouldn't keep sending me memory notices that meant nothing.
Well thank you, but the problem is not from stock rom, The problem is that I sbf-flash with gingerbread, but then make an downgrade to eclair, then an update to froyo and finally use Cyanogenmod 7, and in the settings it says it doesn't have expandable inside memory
I believe to reset the internal memory to 1.2gb its a factory reset, do some searching first for people that downgraded from gb to eclair

Hi guys, i need your help with something.
So, im using Nexus 5 Experience CM11 based 3.1 with hellscore kernel and since yesterday have this huge issue:
It seems that the rom doesn't recognize the internal storage very well, i mean i can see the storage in root explorer, and i can acces it like viewing pictures and stuff ... but in the gallery no picture or video shows up, neither in mxplayer ... and when it rings it has the default ringtone ... i cant set one from my internal storage.
If i take a picture with the camera it shows up in the gallery ... but just that picture, when i use root explorer i can see all my pics and the new one,
Any idea how to fix my problem ? I tried re-flashing rom, clrearing cache, tried stock kernel and other kernels and it didn't help

How about flashing back factory images? Maybe your internal partition got corrupted. Or just flash back stock recovery and do factory reset. It will format your internal as well. So you might wanna make a backup on your computer before doing that.

I am having issue to move my apps after I have upgraded to slimkat weekly 5.8. The option on manage apps and clicking on a app line skype or any other app, from that menu move to USB storage option is removed . I am not sure this is something caused by upgrade or I might have changed some settings. Can you please help me on this ? Thanks

I am using Slimkat as daily driver on my Motorola Atrix 2 (unofficial 5.8) and found that there is no option of moving apps form phone memory to SD card. This feature becomes more important for in case of applications like mine where there is very less space on the internal memory and the custom ROM is installed in secondary system with partition size of like 1GB. Situation worsens when ART is turned on, whole 1 GB is eaten by ART like anything.
Slim devs, please include the move apps feature on your ROMs. There are lot of Slim ROM fans like me who like the minimalistic UI of Slim ROMs and want to keep them as default ROM.

few days ago i flashed havoc os 2.7 clean install after coming from stock
i formatted data and system and then flashed the rom with gapps and other necessary files like dcrypt.zip magisk and 3gp ram fix .
every thing went well and after few minutes my phone boooted normally without any problems
now i faces two problems with my phone
1. whenever i delete any video file from my phone it starts hanging and sound becomes jerky its feels like that suddenly clock speed of processer is reduced . i have to reboot my phone to solve this else it will keep on running but will hang and work slowly
the media which i deletes is on phone memory. after restart it gets fixed until i deletes any new video files it behave normally. well i donot uses any big and heavy apps no games and ram always free about 1gb( i have 3gb version ). and internal memory is free about 15 gb
2. after each reboot double tap to wake up option enabled automatically each time i have to disable it
some info- i uses a memory card (class 4 ) to store my important data i tried without it and problem is same
please can any body provide solution to these problems other than clean flash again

found solution myself
i was new to this rooting bussiness so did one thing wrong
after flashing the recovery and formatting the phone i flashed decrypt zip first
instead it should be flashed after rom and magisk zip
that was the problem phone was still with encryption and casuing problems

I have a problem with the internal memory
Its size has been reduced to 16gp
This happened after root and after installing kernal the phone stopped working
After installing the official ROM 4 files
The phone did not work either
After installing only ap and ct files
The phone is back on but the memory is still 16
And if the phone is formatted, the phone will not work again... The solution, please
looks like a partition issue. did you include the partition table while flashing
