iQI i3 Smartwath Anyone interested? this do have a pretty good specs, it is one of the thinnest smartwatch according to the company, it looks good to be honest, but with a lot of Android based smartwatches in the market will it be able to compete?

I'm an HTC man myself but my friend wrote this piece and I thought it was really good so I thought I'd share it here and see what you guys thought

both hox and gs3 lifts the potential of android to the next level and shows android is capable of beating ios and wp7
that's a +1 for bala_gamer
do not count out the fruity company just yet. this week we shall see what their new OS version will bring to the table. should be interesting.
but as always the clean cut Bala has hit it on the nail on the coffin. hox and s3 are the best android phones of the moment and only enhance android even more
I hope this piece helps stop the whining about the little stuff both Samsung and HTC have made marvelous devices to fit our preferences whatever those may be.

Looking forward to the ios announcement. They still have the most popular individual smart phones on the planet so Google will be watching closely. Competition is good!
Plus I have an iPad

my friend has an ipad and he had a 3gs before he got his new s3. he loves android but still he is a noobie. same with me..before i moved to android last year i only had iphones...although the last year they kinda did not do anything to push the iphone to the next level i still highly rate them. so as you said as well. looking with very high interest what they will bring to the table this week coming. should be interesting to see what they will find as "innovating" and time to revolutionize
Personally, I think mt HTC One X LTE runs quite poorly for the specs and is not a good representative of Android.
The GS3 is amazing though and my old phone, the Xperia S ran quite well despite the older Qualcomm S3 chipset.
I already guessed what's the next ios/iphone5 look like/features are... the ios is going to be exactly same as is now. Same layout. Same icons, same ui. Iphone5 going to be same as is now with a larger screen. No microUSB, no MicroSD , non removable battery.... .... it's time people wake up

I hope thisnisnt the case though if history is any indicator then this is exactlynehat we'll see. iOS is so stale and its time for some big changes and ideally some sort of marriage between osx and ios for the ipad- while the ipad may be the most popular tablet with the most app support, it certainly doesn't have an ideal OS or even one that capitilizes on the available real estate.

Nice article. Enjoyed it. The popup ads are very annoying and could not bypass one of them without taking me to another site. From a web designer's view, that scares me and I won't be visiting the site again for fear of viruses.

Hello guys. Which smartwatch is the best ?
Nexus 4 cihazımdan Tapatalk 2 ile gönderildi
I currently use a Sony Liveview. Its kind of a Battery drain but the best atm is the Pebble. I had the newer smartwatch by sony by those work terribly because of how they charge.
Google is rumored to make their own so come I/O something nice should show up
I personally don't find them useful, so I would say save your money
Pebble looks nice too. But i think it would be such a torture to me to get one of those watches. Ordering is such a torture. I liked sony's smartwatch. Not more than pebble but i think the only way to get a good smartwatch is buying sony's watches.
By the way Today is my birthday and my parents want to buy a present for me. (Im just sixteen ) and i thought that having a good watch would be awesome for me. But do you guys can recommend something for me apart from watches if you think theyre unuseful.

I have the Sony Smartwatch MN2S2 but don't use it much. I love it but I just don't use watches. I'm gonna list mine on fleabay tomorrow me thinks http://store.sony.com/p/Sony-Androi...-Blue-Black-Multicolor-Multi-Color/en/p/MN2SW

Smartwatch's kind of useless..
I'm using a pebble and I'm really impressed with it - the 11 month wait for it to be delivered was slightly less impressive.
The pebble app is fairly basic but Augmented Smartwatch Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alk.k9)turns it into a really useful bit of kit.
Just hope they release the full SDK soon so the devs can start pushing things out.

I use the Pebble and love it.

Is it useful? To me it is. Especially when I have my phone charging in the bedroom and I'm out in the living room. Like the other poster said, use the Augmented Smartwatch to get reconnect notifications and tell you if you missed any notifications. So if there is a text, email or phone call coming in, I get a notification and I can go pick it up or respond.
Also useful at work when I have my phone quiet and step away from my desk.
Now saying that, the Sony smartwatch is a good one as well. I have the first gen which sucked balls because it didn't keep connection at all. The only thing about the Sony one is the battery life.
Hello to everyone. I bought sony's smartwatch and its very good for me because of colorscreen and tons of apps.!

Seems like everyone is mentioning the one by Sony, are there any alternatives?
Not totally for or against the look of the Sony one, but would be nice to have some sort of choice.
Are there any new upcoming smart watches that are particularly interesting?

The Pebble was mentioned several times, as well as a rumored model being released by Google. Perhaps you should reread the thread?

Out now, but can only buy certain ones right now...
Sony Smartwatch---readily available
Pebble-Preorders accepted or go to ebay
Metawatch- Preorders accepted on their website
Martian Watches-I know kickstarters received theirs at this point, but you can go try to buy one...you can check ebay too.
Wimm ONE-Available, but wouldn't recommend. Old hardware.
I'm Watch-Available now as well. I was one of the initial pre-order buyers but pis$ed me off with the delays upon delays without explanation. I asked for my deposit back and glad I did because the app store is slim pickings from what I hear.
I assume everyone saw this article - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...art-WATCH-makes-calls-comes-built-camera.html. What an achievement ahead of the main companies fighting for this area of the market. The watch looks like it has been designed well from the images, allbeit perhaps a little large. The price of £150 seems extremely reasonable. Let me know your thoughts.

That's the Z1 Rock watch, or a clone of it. Literally almost identical. Check the specs on my site here. It's very very old news, and was not the first device to run a standalone OS, or even the first to run android.
Is it neat? Sure. It's also HUGE though, and runs an older version of Android than the ACTV, which came out before this one. As for the price, currently, 150 pounds equates to about 227 US dollars, and for that price, I'd rather have the actv I think.
"Teenager tries to take credit for someone elses Smart Watch"
There, fixed the title. This is an open source (I guess that's what they call it) watch body. The chinese company makes the watch, buyers who commit to massive quantities can choose color, logo, and name to sell as their own.
This watch in the past has been branded as the Z1 watch and the Vega Watch. It's not new..at all. And it's quite frankly not a very good watch phone. As ClearD was talking about the Motoactv just slays this thing in terms of power.
Is this the same as Neptune Pine? http://www.neptunepine.com/product.html
Eitherway, its a wrist phone, not a smart watch. The whole idea of smart watch is to be a remote extension of the smart phone, not a replacement of it. You get notification, and decide if you want to act on it. In my opinion, wrist watch is a different category. Beside, I'm not sure if I would find it too healthy to wear most of the day 3G receiver/transmitter on my wrist with all that electromagnetic waves circulation At least with my smart phone its either on a dash board mount in the car when I'm driving, or the desk away from me when I'm at work, or somewhere on a table at home. Smart watch is just a bluetooth gadget
Nah, the Neptune pine is way better. Like... In every aspect. Lol

I would not mind trying it out if a developer helps out. Not on AT&T so how useful the phone would be is something I am uncertain about.

Why has Sony not been included as a OEM for Android Wear powered wearables?
That's bad because recently Sony has been making some of the most awesome and user friendly devices and it always has.
Also its smart watch(1 & 2) is more successful than any other manufacturer's .
So why has Google not partnered with Sony?
Anybody shares the same views?
Sent from my C2104 using Tapatalk
I wouldn't read too much into who has officially announced "partnering" at this time.
Sony is pretty much pro-Android. If they do more powerful watches I'd guess they'll go with Wear.
Or they may sit back and watch how it goes. There are no guarantees of big profits ahead for Wear watches.
Sony
It s silly if Sony not included in partners of AndroidWear
that list u saw had problem!
Sony SmartWatch was first real smart-wearable so sony will be one of the best manufacture to use androidWear and also develop it..
:good:

I was just thinking as much as I've tried to research the z5 compact, there are a surprisingly low number of reviews, especially from established channels. Last year, Mobile Tech Reviews, Pocket Now and others had reviews up on the z3c by early October. I realize there was a US variant but that came later than most of the reviews. I'm wondering why you think this is? Not much buzz about the z5 in general this time around which can't bode well for Sony's struggling mobile division.
Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
Because Sony didn't publish USA version of the phone unlike previous years.

I found a lot of reviews. Recombu, Techradar, gsmarena, expert reviews, trusted reviews, pocket lint, stuff, the verge, android pit, ibtimes, pcworld, the inquirer, the guardian, btekt on youtube etc etc
Most of those you just stated were unboxings and first impressions. My point is the same, there hasn't been as many reviews from big, I guess I should say, American reviewers as last year's z3c. To me, it's a little odd? Actually Btekt who typically loves the phone has not done a full review yet. Just first looks and comparison vids.
