Hello Guys,
I am using One Plus 2 for a while now and I am very happy with it.
My only problem is the runtime of my Battery also if I am only using less Apps and dont play any Games.
At the moment ive installed the Official CM 13 Rom.
Now I wanted to know whats the best custom Rom for me?
I am not a Android Gamer anymore.
The only thing I use are Social Media Stuff and Messengers like WhatsApp & Telegram.
My most used Apps are:
Youtube
Fenix (Twitter)
MyAnimeList
Streaming Apps
Notice Apps
Mail
Snapchat
Spotify & Soundcloud
Games aren't necessary for me cause I use my 3DS instead.
What do you think guys?
Would be nice to know some opinions.
Go for the latest @Grarak's cm14 build! You will love it!
But you will need to use footej camera for video recording.

Thanks Ive also tested CM14 and got compatibility problems.
Now I am back on CM13 but maybe there is something better.
What type of features you like???
Recently I tried OrionOS it has a nice blurred background when you pull the notification it's very similar in features as tipsy.

For battery is pretty good the stock OOS. But if you want cROM then try Skydragon which is pretty good for battery or OrionOS or RessRemix
I have tried quite a few roms. I find that official cm13 or stock OOS works the best.
Try official ressurction remix from RajGopi or Exodus.

I would love to hear what the experienced users advice in regards to a lite and stable rom because actually the there's so much bloat ware on the stock one and I've heard that the battery life is improved on the custom ones .
Your help is really appreciated.
You can always debloat your stock ROM. Of course, root is required. If you're looking for a lite and stable ROM I'd recommend you try custom TW ROMs since AOSP ROMs tend to have hiccups here and there. I personally don't like heavily customized ROMs. While certain amounts of customization options can be very useful, too much of it, especially poorly designed ones, will do more harm than good. Best thing is to try and find out what fits best to your needs.

Could you please mention which rom you're personally using? And providing a link for the TW roms would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Which one is better? Or which one would you recommend more? Also I've heard about PAC-ROM which combines some. Would that be a good choice? And is there a PAC version with lolipop?
PAC-rom is fairly new for this device and haven't tested it.
I used AICP only once and that was some time ago.
I used RR a lot but now the devs PC is broken and the project is on hold until he gets a new one. That means no more updates for a while.
I'm using the GPE rom now.
Hello,
so i have a SM910C and have never done rooting or stuff and i want to.
to start I want to know does rooting means lower battery life?
and i want to use cm12.1 but cant find it anywhere
and what other roms are best for my note 4
Root will not affect your battery but if you use a lot of rooted apps that may affect your battery .. and about cm12.1 rom , thay are working on it now and thers is only some bugs to fix in the rom .. soon it will be stable ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3015717

RaymanFX is doing a really wonderful thing on the 910C but I think you're greatly underestimating the amount of work and time needed to get from here to a ROM that is 'stable' in the sense that you can do pretty much the same as in TW, without any issue's. I'd say end of the year would be really quick already.

I use CM as daily ROM and it is stable. Hardware video decoding and video recording are the biggest things which do not work. There are some problems with Bluetooth strength but nothing crucial. Expect that, the ROM works great. It is fast and much lighter than TouchWiz. So if you don't need described features, this soft is for you [emoji6]

I personally used cm 12.1 then saw it's not good for me at least to use as a daily driver. So I flashed SimplRom v4. I'll return to cm 12.1 when they release a stable version. RaymanFX is working hard and we all support him

Sure. This is the thread and all you need to know:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/n910c-cyanogenmod-12-sources-t3015717
This is where you can download the latest build:
TeamEOS.org
Bugs:
Sometimes you may experience bugs while playing music with headphones
Video recording doesn't work
Sometimes you might see a little glitch in recent apps
All of those are already fixed and will be patched and uploaded as a new build any day now.

So how I actually can do it? I have not done any of flashing rom too. What I check I only saw the last step as flashing the rom. Which link from ray man is the "rom" that I flash? Down there he suggest that if brave enough and familiar with some program but I don't know.
Hi there...is official cm12.1 available for note 4 smn910c now?? Thanks.
Have Tried out some early 6.0 AOSP builds for the HLTE. Pretty Decent Buttery performaces so far.
My Personal Reviews
Temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build v2.4 : Quite Good . Not a fan of the unofficial title or the boot. Laggy Camera and frequent System UI crashes.
Unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 : The same laggy camera and System UI crashes.Multi user switching creates random freezes to the device.
RESURRECTION REMIX M [CM13] : Best of the lot.Again not a fan of the boot screen , which can apparentely be changed later on , But yeh we all love everything to be pre-existing on the ROM Camera related bugs.
BlissPop 6.0 : Beta build released a day or two ago.Waiting for a stabler build to try on.Will Update shortly :good:

I use it on my private/work phone (incl. connection to our CMS) and my last problems like calling causes reboot after the phone has a longer uptime are resolved now too. So it works nicely IMO.
I would recommend Temasek's CM 13, I have been using it a while now. It works great as a daily driver.
Unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 by Morningstar is my favorite ROM. It runs smoothly and very stable on my phone.

I flashed Resurrection Remix 5.6.9 day before yesterday and have been interrogating the tweaks & settings of the build.. I haven't had any problems so far. I have had SystemUI force close issue with every previous RR build so I am happily surprised so far. For a stable M build - I always keep latest TemasekOS on the sideline in my Sandisk OTG drive.
- Link below is my mirror for the RR5.6.9 build - not everywhere is displaying the latest build yet.

I had a system ui fc yesterday on the Resurrection Remix 5.6.9 ROM. I will forward logs to dev shortly. This specific problem occurs every time I use multi-install app function on Google Play OR A large queue of apps is awaiting installation. Once this fc is tripped you can only sigh and swear then factory reset, like most major bugs. I am now quite certain this is a Gapps issue. I was using OpenGapps stock package.
I would recommend scheduling a nightly app+data backup with Titanium or Helium. Every day at 3am my device does this, so when I hit a brick wall problem, I can factory reset and restore via recovery, worst case scenario I will lose a few hours of data. I know you can also back the data up in recovery upon the issue arising but that is extra time you could of saved in an overnight backup. This is just my amateur experience anyway.

Go to settings > mobile networks| Does it show 3G on preferred network type? you may need to change it to LTE.
Also, check incoming/outgoing calls are working| if not, in the same mobile networks menu as above, try automatic registration, wait 2-3 mins and see if this works.

The most stable rom I have ever used is CM 13 marshamllow rom by [email protected],its purely based on cm 13 and no stupid tweaks, battery life is pretty good too.Resurrection and other roms modify too much which cause crashes.

Both dark ROM and AICP are Lineage OS based. And I'm pretty sure Pure Fusion too, but not that sure. Those roms simply take LOS and add stuff. So it has 'even more crap' than LOS in any case.

Yeah, corrected myself as soon as i realized that. Still his comment makes little sense. I've tried half of the custom ROMs available and they were far more sluggish after some usage that LOS ever is, even with custom kernels

I like it simple and stock. Most of the added stuff i don't use anyway. So a lean build of vanilla AOSP would be great.
I know some coding, mostly from microcontrollers and some java, so I am asking myself how hard it would be to build from aosp source.

Which added features does LOS have? Capacitive keys remappable? Ability to change the status bar stuff? Just ignore them, it's not like AICP where you can change the volume dialog outlines xd

Just saying, if you want it simple and lagless, use LineageOS+BeastMode Kernel. That's as simple as it gets and has almost zero lag everywhere. Battery is just okay, around 4-5h SOT. Don't know about PureFusion but I'd say it comes with features.
