Most stable custom ROM?

Which is the most stable custom ROM that's Marshmallow? I have Redmi 2 prime. I have found many ROMs, but I'm not sure which is the most stable one.

I've done a bit of reasearch and i found these to be very stable :
1. Nexus ROM
2. Resurrection Remix
There are others but this is my view.
Both ROM's are available in the xda forum.
I've personally used both the rom's and here's my take :
Both are lightweight, smooth and super stable.
Resurrection Remix is the one that offers more customization and features, but it has a bug - slow charging. Its taking about 7-8 hours to charge fully. There are methods to fix this bug. You'll have to use a new kernel, recommended undine kernel. But i thought this would be too complicated. So, i went for the nexus rom.
I've been using the nexus rom since past 4 days now. Its stable, lightweight and has no bugs. Camera quality is also at par to the stock camera.
So, i would suggest you to go for the Nexus ROM.
Go for the latest version.

I'm using VanirAOSP build from premaca (with berserk stock kernel and opengapps, links available on the sticky [INDEX] thread), 6.0.1 and pretty stable to me.
PS: mine is a Redmi2 Pro 2014819 (a Redmi 2 Prime 2014811 variant) with dual-sim.

OK, i did not know about that yet. Did you find a fix for the slow charging bug in Resurrection Remix ?

Bro try to use gods Kernel ir bersrek are good for fast charging and smooth performance.

what gapps you use? or use NX gapps?.... As far as i know call bugs from pure aosp source that is source to build original / custom rom....the source app name called google dialer app and google dialer framework.....you should update google dialer from gapps that give you a google dialer apps and google dialer framework uptodate....i use open gapps build 04/20/16 and NX rom on my redmi 2 20140817.... I can make a conference call with my three friend...no issue....for me as far as till now, the rom what can give bug free and stable release is NX rom 10.2...very light and smooth.....

I switched to Resurrection Remix 5.6.7. I also flashed Undine kernel which has removed the slow charging bug.
But, its giving a lesser battery backup than the nexus rom.

Thanks for your reply. I'll go with Nexus since, as you said, fixing the bug would be too complicated.

I never use conference calls, so this won't be an issue for me. Did you find any bugs other than that?

You can choose micro gapps....there is new update release on 1 May....
* Note : recommended gapps if you use MM rom you can choose ARM aka arm32bit - 6.0 - micro.....

check out cm 13.1 SNAPSHOT rom by emfoxzhou. its pretty stable and responsive

Cm 13.1 is the best.

snapshot rom is also good rom smooth performance well the camera has blue flickers and its fixed after flashing BERSErK kernal.. unfortunatlly after test the same blue flcks appears.

Nexus experience ROM got updated!
10.3.3 available now! go for it, bugs are fixed!

AICP is the most stable rom right now..period. its buttery smooth and better than the rest of roms i have used...and i have tried almost all of them..tesla..rr..tipsy..nexus..etc.. AICP has no bugs...its a rom with the most features..and its official and nightlies are released every night..

Battery always stays at 100%? I'm I the only one with this bug after flashing this ROM?

Tried the nightly, battery percentage working, good rom

Yes this is really good. No bugs so far. Camera not that good but it isn't in any of the Roms so far.
Fingerprint don't work. Have not tested ir blaster yet.

I blaster works fine for me. But battery Percentage stick to 100 unless you restart with power chord plugged.

What are you running on your OnePlus One?

Hey there guys, just wondering what ROM everyone is running on their OnePlus One now. I've had Sultan's CM13.0 but recently it's been getting stale and I think I need a fresh change.
Has anyone tried Temesek's CM13.0? It seems like the most popular ROM right now on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-cm11-temasek-build-t2870743
I've also heard good things about jgcaap's CM13.0 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-cm-12-builds-t3045053
Bonus points - What Kernel are you running as well?

I've been using Sultan's CM13 for such a long time i need a fresh change too... Was thinking about jgcaap's CM13, but didn't try it yet. I'll wait with you for some real good replies!

I used Sultans Rom for a very Long time. Flashed jgcap Rom recently and i dont reget it. The camera is Great!

does the video recording still have those buggy vertical lines?

I'm with you, I've been on sultans for so lonngg!
I've also used jgcaap, its a really good rom overall, fast, stable and the cameras are great.
BUT, and there is a but lol, the speed comes at the price of battery.. a LOT of battery.. was getting about an hour on screen time with a days worth of usage where as the same sort of usage from sultan i get about 2/3hours.
Don't expect any difference on the rom side, both based of pure cm and none include any extras.
Up to you to decide

Color os camera supports 30s Long exposure (jpg), raw (auto settings) and 50mpx mode(jpg). There are also others plugins

I am running official CM12.1 as primary, RESURRECTION REMIX [5.7.4][CM13] and Darkobas ROM (6.0.1) [AOSP + CAF] as secundaries in multirom. I really like all the customisation that RR offers and the battery life of Darkobas (4,5 - 5,5 SOT). So at work I switch to Darkobas and at home I fiddle around with RR

Pure Nexus is stable

Hello everyone, after a great success on building roms for bacon device. I've decided to share my work with other devices. So now I share with oneplus 3. After positive feedback on the rom today I'll publish here the rom.
Kernel and Device tree are untouched so everything should be working smoothly. You can use a custom kernel in case you like, but i'll only give support to stock kernel as I do not yet own an device. So CM bugs are basically also our bugs, and from what I know there is none. Still I'm open to suggestions.

How I missed you... I was a fan on OPO, and definitely on OP3.... ROM working flawlessly, no FC's, smooth and fast, pixelfy, magisk and pokemon go working great... Awesome isn't enough to describe you...

Loved your builds on oneplus one when I was using it for month.
I will try soon.
Between stock cm from 13 till now, having strange bug fp scanner, sometimes fp sensor stop working, we need manually turn on screen.
If same happens, I will report back.
Also same was in stock cm13 but not happening in @Sultanxda rom.
also, this is not happening in aosp based roms, so its deep in cm.

Original CM 14.1 is 586.22 MB why yours is 673.1 MB, instead of slimming it; what have you added?

ROM is odexed that's why it has bigger size + many more optimizations for speed and battery

@jgcaap : as mentioned earlier, there is same but in your rom also.
Fingerprint sensor stops working some time, need to wake screen manually.
Also, torch gesture not working.
Please fix these issues.

Nothing happen when switching profiles by built-in button. Any idea how to fix that? I trying to change in settings few options but without solution.

Used your ROMs on the OPO.
Everything working great for now apart from the known CM bugs. FPS fails sometimes and alert slider not working?

Use notification slider APP from playstore, as a tempory workaround

Mine is working. After few reboot, it was alive.
So for now, the only bug is cm bug I think ( battery icon cannot be changed )

ResurrectionRemix ROM is quite stable (Both Official and Unofficial), I am using RR ROM for a long time (Official) and no issues so far. No battery draining. Some minor bugs present which can fixed easily (Fixed in unofficial builds).

Go for lineage 15 i use it for daily use and all is working properly use footej cam for videos.. Thats it.. Stable and no other bugs faced

Yea i forgot Bluetooth.. As till now there was no use bluetooth was not even in my mind. Thn u can blindly go for RR Official or AOSP the stable roms. I prefer to be updated ? thats the reasong I am on oreo what works what not doesn't matter to me???

Try pairing with audio devices like a Bluetooth headset

i'm using woivod version of AEX, splendid rom

[emoji848][emoji846] I prefer vipor os by impulser or cr driod rom...i used not all but i used most of them but i like this 2 rom...smooth battery backup is awesome no bug....camera quality is same on all the rom..u can use mi camera it work perfect...

ASOP rom is quite stable and we can use all apps that identifies root access

Someone already have a similar post so posting same responce here as well to help you decide or confuse
LineageOS 14.1 from Daniel.Stuart ( 25th Oct Build is by far best or go for next one which is supposed to be fully stable )
Pros --> Rom having active development and developer is very interactive in replies.
Cons --> No video call in Volte but that is general for all.
[OREO][8.0.0_r33]XPerience 12.0.0 by TeamMex --> It's Oreo so have few bugs but the developer is the best on for Redmi 3s.
Pros --> OTA and latest from Google (oreo 8.0)
Cons --> VOLTE won't work
Most stable ones are below but they are abandoned ( no future development)
Lineage 14.1 from KarthikMostWanted
Darkness Redefined from XiaomiDev
Note --> No rom would give Video calling thr dialer for Volte.
I personally have used all of above for atleast 2 weeks ( except Oreo one which was for a week)
All are good battery and smooth but video calling is must for me I am on MIUI9 Global Developer ROM.
