I would love to hear what the experienced users advice in regards to a lite and stable rom because actually the there's so much bloat ware on the stock one and I've heard that the battery life is improved on the custom ones .
Your help is really appreciated.
You can always debloat your stock ROM. Of course, root is required. If you're looking for a lite and stable ROM I'd recommend you try custom TW ROMs since AOSP ROMs tend to have hiccups here and there. I personally don't like heavily customized ROMs. While certain amounts of customization options can be very useful, too much of it, especially poorly designed ones, will do more harm than good. Best thing is to try and find out what fits best to your needs.

Could you please mention which rom you're personally using? And providing a link for the TW roms would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone. So as you know you will lose the stock spen features if you flash the cyanogenmod. Isn't there any possibility that you can extract the features from the stock rom and make them running on a custom rom? I know there are some alternatives out there which do nearly the same as the Samsung apps but in my opinion they're not as good as the stock.
Greetings, Lenniitsch
No. Seek alternatives. Spen ,aside from being a normal wacom stylus, is dependent on touch wiz libraries that are system wide. A quick search would have made this post unnecessary.

Hello Android users :victory:
I updated my galaxy s5 to lollipop and i loved it from the start. I found it very smooth , fast but it was also a really disappointment because of it's battery life. After i update it AND restore it as factory new couldn't get a good battery life. So i was thinking of a custom rom..
That's why i am here is to ask you guys for a custom rom with touchwiz interface and great battery life. Any recomandations? And also maybe a tutorial on how to do it. ( fresh Samsung user )
I would really apreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.
You should check out Xestro Lite ROM. For advice on rooting visit Chainfire's one click root thread.

Awesome ROM!!! I'm using it right now and way better than official Touchwiz. Also, better battery life. Today I had 5 and a half on screen time.
For installing it you can find everything at link.

Actually I wouldn't recommend CF Auto root. For me personally it never works and I always get soft bricked. Second thing is that if you are beyond BNL version of Touchwiz, rooting it probably won't work.
Hello Guys,
I am using One Plus 2 for a while now and I am very happy with it.
My only problem is the runtime of my Battery also if I am only using less Apps and dont play any Games.
At the moment ive installed the Official CM 13 Rom.
Now I wanted to know whats the best custom Rom for me?
I am not a Android Gamer anymore.
The only thing I use are Social Media Stuff and Messengers like WhatsApp & Telegram.
My most used Apps are:
Youtube
Fenix (Twitter)
MyAnimeList
Streaming Apps
Notice Apps
Mail
Snapchat
Spotify & Soundcloud
Games aren't necessary for me cause I use my 3DS instead.
What do you think guys?
Would be nice to know some opinions.
Go for the latest @Grarak's cm14 build! You will love it!
But you will need to use footej camera for video recording.

Thanks Ive also tested CM14 and got compatibility problems.
Now I am back on CM13 but maybe there is something better.
What type of features you like???
Recently I tried OrionOS it has a nice blurred background when you pull the notification it's very similar in features as tipsy.

For battery is pretty good the stock OOS. But if you want cROM then try Skydragon which is pretty good for battery or OrionOS or RessRemix
I have tried quite a few roms. I find that official cm13 or stock OOS works the best.
Try official ressurction remix from RajGopi or Exodus.
Hello,
does anybody know if there is a pure vanilla AOSP available for our Axon 7?

what would the advantages be over LOS?
LOS would be the only option but loaded ROMs with features are quite useful like RR

Both dark ROM and AICP are Lineage OS based. And I'm pretty sure Pure Fusion too, but not that sure. Those roms simply take LOS and add stuff. So it has 'even more crap' than LOS in any case.

Well actually PureFusion is based off AOSP but still has some, but not all, LOS stuff added.

Yeah, corrected myself as soon as i realized that. Still his comment makes little sense. I've tried half of the custom ROMs available and they were far more sluggish after some usage that LOS ever is, even with custom kernels

I like it simple and stock. Most of the added stuff i don't use anyway. So a lean build of vanilla AOSP would be great.
I know some coding, mostly from microcontrollers and some java, so I am asking myself how hard it would be to build from aosp source.

Which added features does LOS have? Capacitive keys remappable? Ability to change the status bar stuff? Just ignore them, it's not like AICP where you can change the volume dialog outlines xd

Just saying, if you want it simple and lagless, use LineageOS+BeastMode Kernel. That's as simple as it gets and has almost zero lag everywhere. Battery is just okay, around 4-5h SOT. Don't know about PureFusion but I'd say it comes with features.
I am having poor battery life, can anyone tell best custom rom?
I was about to search for a kinda similar question, Im personally looking for smoothest experience.
To answer your question I have used both CivZ and DevBase roms and I think that best Rom for battery is stock without root and Xposed.
The s9 Ports also have a good battery...
