Hi there,
I'm having issues with the new r12p1 graphics drivers when using Dolphin emulator (https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Forum-android) where performance is bad and there are a lot of graphics issues, in fact the issues appear very similar to those experienced with the galaxy s6 on Marshamellow rom.
So I'd like to keep the old GPU drivers so I can use the Dolphin emulator but use the newer roms and kernels which are including the new GPU driver - does anyone know of a way to do that??
Thanks in advance.
If you want to use old driver...
-Use older rom and kernel.
-(Might not work) Use newer rom and replace some libs file with older one(I don't know which one) with old kernel.
These are 2 option I can come up with.
Also
Have you tried reinstall the app(uninstall and install again)?
Some apps that experience graphic glitch after update can be fixed by reinstalling apps.

Thanks for the ideas, I tried reinstalling the app but no joy, I think the driver is just buggy.
I'm going to try backing up the old drivers and importing them to the new rom and also installing a new kernel without the new drivers.
Hi, I used dolphin emulator in my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for playing Dragon ball zee bt3 and it was extremely slow thus I tried to run the game in vulkan support and after that the game was fine but the video doesn't appear and it only shows a black screen while sound keeps coming from the background, so anyone have any idea in how to fix this vulkan support glitch. I have Naugat 7.0 and 3GB Ram with 32GB Rom......pls help me as I had seen many people play this game on small phones like Motorola G4 etc..

I installed via CWM the Beats Audio Port for Gingerbread (thread which has now been locked for some reason) and as I have not posted before I can only post here.
I was wondering if there is any way to uninstall the Beats Audio update because now I am not able to view HD videos on the YouTube app without lag and stuttering (Doesn't happen when viewing as a webpage through Opera)
I am not sure if the Beats update is the culprit as I did also, before updating, mess around with activating the various StageFright options via BladeBuddy (which now, in reality makes no difference whether I turn them on or off)
Aside from the issue with the YouTube app I have noticed no other issues, except perhaps Opera slowing down & becoming unresponsive massively when I have a few windows open from the BBC news site when I am watching 1 videoed news report, but this might just be a new problem with Opera itself as I never had this before I installed the new version.
I already had thought I would need to wipe and install a (Darky's) ROM again which I won't bother doing until there is an ICS ROM available but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I think the beats port are just some libraries. Open the .zip of the hack and look which files it adds. Then delete the files with a root explorer on your device. This should be enough when the hack doesn't delete any files. If it does, you should reflash your rom.
I noticed, that in few games I have blue textures. Of course its unplayable.
- stock rom 4.3
- kernel flamingomonkey 3.4.39
Could be kernel issue?
Or an incompatibility issue in the app that needs to be sorted out due to a new GPU driver as well as a new graphics rendering system that 4.3 uses. OpenGL was upgraded to a new version and maybe some of the system calls those games use are not compatible with the new version.

What games? I most likely own some of them. I have also used flamingmonkey so can confirm whether it is a driver issue or not. Personally I haven't had this issue, and I have tried quite a few games. This can indicate faulty hardware on PC GPU's so you definitely want to get to the bottom of this ASAP.
Hi all of you people.
I use my s4 to play some big graphics games and i notice that if i change its name on build.prop i can get better graphics on those games. For Eixample by putting s6 name on build.prop (like the touchwiz ported roms do) you get s6 graphics on s4.
Do you know if there is another thing i can change to improve graphics? (Device product name, etc , i dont know)
Maybe a root app , idk.
Thanks for your time trying to help me!
I'm anything but an expert on any of this stuff but it occurs to me that you may be getting more detailed drawing by fooling apps this way but it has to be at the expense of drawing performance. after all you're asking the phone to do something the games devs didn't think was a good idea.
for increased performance in games disable hardware overlays in development options after you bootup.
maybe get yourself an overclockable kernel (if you can find one for your rom).
the GLtools app allows you to spoof hardware details if that's your thing...
Hardware overlays is disabled by default on most roms. So is Force GPU rendering.
Resurrection Remix rom has an "Force High-End Graphics" option. It is experimental and I don't know if it even works, I prefer better performance.

I've never seen a rom that had it disabled, it resets to it's default active position with every boot...
Dear XDA,
So I have a rooted Nexus 7 (2012) with the latest TWRP running an android 6.0.1 ASOP rom. I have a Nova launcher running with only 2 widgets (one kwgt and one zooper). So it lags at the lock screen, in chrome and facebook. Other apps run fine as long as there is no lag. I have a governor set to interactive. Emulators and games work, gnuroot debian (i.e. linux) works. Most benchmarks accept Pcmark work. So is it the hardware or can I do something to fix it? Clearing cache used to work but not any more.
Only using 12/32 GB on flash memory.
Any suggestions?

Yes, you can try to flash Parrotmod:

Honestly facebook and chrome are a problem for older hardware. Suggest you go with Facebook Lite and Firefox instead. Uninstall Facebook and Chrome.

I read somewhere else that eventually, as it gets older, and you write to the memory more and more, it decreases the efficiency of the memory. It's usually a sign of wear and tear on the device. I know mine got REAL laggy to the point it freezes up on me after using it for awhile, usually with very intensive games such as Game of War, Walking Dead No Man's Land, etc.
Some have stated, if you're rooted, to use LagFix from Google play to run TRIM (you must be rooted for this). If you are not rooted, you can use Forever Gone as an alternative. I haven't tried these on my N7 (don't use it anymore), but the premise is they fill up your storage with empty files and then removes them, which causes Android to execute the TRIM command against your storage. This is supposed to help with the slow down many see after a few years of use.
In the end though, eventually the writeable memory just wears down. It's like external SD cards that, after so many writes, start to exhibit errors in various sectors. The writeable memory is just not immortal. We haven't found the right technology for that apparently. Just like a hard drive goes bad after so much write and rewrite, so goes the writeable firmware memory in mobile devices and SD cards.
Hi all. Your android solution may be here. I have installed most of the recent android builds available. The below build from konstakang has worked and for me has a good functionality and minimal crashes so far.
http://konstakang.com/devices/rpi3/CM14.1/
I have tried the more recent Oreo 15.1 build but this one has a better display performance. There is a bug with not being able to change the wallpaper but will check with konstakang how to get working.
I tried the build before looking into over clocking but a revisit greatly improved performance and less lag by editing config.txt. Accessed config.txt from a root search via Nautilus after flashing the downloaded image via etcher. Only added
force_turbo=1 #Voids Warranty!
boot_delay=1 #helps to avoid sdcard corruption when force_turbo is enabled.
I didn’t go any further with over clocking as this seems to make the difference. Not seen the CPU temp more than 70c yet. Check out the below link.
https://haydenjames.io/raspberry-pi-3-overclock/
Finally to get things up and running no need for the play store at all so I wouldn’t even bother. It only causes major crashes and Aptoide is sufficient. I have root access from the settings menu and have downloaded quick root reboot. Chrome and Showbox along with mx player. All working. CPUx gives stats such as core temp. Will be able to get terminal access also from app download. The media apps do seem to shutdown occasionally but i hope a wifi dongle upgrade add-on will sort this out.

Hope this helps someone and let me know if have the same or different luck. Big up to the developers and website authors!
I tried the 8-10-17 build, and I could any apps I installed would crash immediately. I could not get the resolution to fit my TV screen either after changing resolutions in the boot config. Have you ran into any issues like this?
I had problems with older builds from the same source and others. Even paid for one from Exton but he's a rip off merchant. Try this one that I had in the op.

Read the FAQ about root access and download quick reboot from Aptoide.
As I said it works reasonably well. Try the over clocking and apps from Aptoide. Also reboot a couple times I've read makes a difference with things crashing. If you find an app continuously crashes then uninstall and try different one.
My TV displays fine. 49inch 4k. I guess if yours doesn't from first boot then could Google for the correct config.txt script. This newer build seems to detect the TV resolution but don't quote me on that.
I wouldn't go for the newer konstakang Oreo build as was laggy but of course give it a go if you like. Konstakang builds seem to be the best on the net so far and I've tried loads since the new year. See what the next one is like as well as he's pretty up on current development.
is this a stretch img?
Not sure what you mean by stretch?
I'm guessing this is also for the RPi 3B+?
This was done on the pi3b. I don't know if it's works on the newest model.
Stops bootlogo n shuts down
First boots situation
Flashed with etcher
