Alert slider not working? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
just picked up second hand OP 2 and I found out that the alert slider is not working. Video is on youtube /watch?v=PhxZHfJWjQI.
Currently running OxygenOS 3.0.2, phone is not rooted. There is still a little bit of warranty left, do I RMA, or is there a simplier fix?
Thanks!

[Q] Vibration broken?

Hi,
I have a HD2 since november last year and so does a friend of mine. Today I tried to fix something for him on his HD2 and I noticed that his vibration is alot more noticeable, more a bouncy vribration instead of just vibration. My HD2 only vibrates a little.
Has anyone else expierienced this 'bug'? And is it fixeable?

check whether the LED flasher is little bit inside the housing
if yes then remove the housine and fix it

[Q] In-Call dialer unresponsive...

So I have seen this issue on multiple forums, across multiple roms/devices, but can't seem to find any solution.
I have a LG G2 on VZW (VS980) currently running AOKP 5/24 nightly (but I have had this issue for months now).
When I make a call, the in-call dialer interface is completely unresponsive. I can't hang up, open the dial pad, speaker phone, mute, etc... the only way I can hang up is to hit the back navigation button and then pull down the notification and hang up that way. I am running PA micro gapps, but I have had the same problem with other gapps as well.
Does anyone else have this problem or has found a solution?
Bump. Really looking for any ideas on how to fix this.
I'm in the same boat here. Would really appreciate if someone could provide a fix.

I fixed my issues by flashing the "Google Dialer" in this thread
Same issue - can't use the touch keys in the dialer while in conversation in LG G2

Did you manage to solve it until now?

Thanks a lot for posting your workaround.
I have exactly the same issue - I can't use the touch keys in the dialer while in conversation in LG G2 D802 (Intl).
However, the Google Dialer is an old app that got replaced by Hangouts Dialer.
Did you switch to Hangouts Dialer, or you stayed on KitKat 4.4.2 with the old Google Dialer from the post you provided?
By the way, I posted issue CYAN-6090 in the CyanogenMod JIRA in order to try and get resolution to this issue.
Are there any other users with this issue?
Did you solve it somehow?
note: sorry for not posting links. I have that annoying new user limitation...
there's a similar issue - LG G2 screen turn off and goes blank during conversation
It seems that there are two similar issues in LG G2 which are both caused by the proximity sensor during conversation:
The screen stays on and the touch buttons in the dialer aren't responsive.
The screen turn off and goes blank.
(This issue was already reported by @madafis here)
In both of these situations the only quick way to end a call is to pull down the status and notifications bar and hang up from there.
Thanks to @Bam9 and @EtherBoo , who suggested to clear the proximity sensor from the outside and squeeze the top left corner of the phone, I tried to clean it and put some stress on it - and it worked!
I have a glass screen protector (which don't block the proximity sensor), and I am rooted and using CyanogenMod 11 ROM.
I used ioroot to root and AutoRec, which comes with TWRP 2.7.0.0, to install CyanogenMod ROM.
However, going back to stock ROM (in my case, LG G2 D802, it's D80220C) won't help since the issue still exists.
What I'm sure is that it was pretty much okay in the beginning, and the situation became worse and worse - occurring randomly, until it arrived to a situation in which I can't use the phone properly during conversation.
Now that I discovered that I can put some stress on the proximity sensor it seems that I have a hardware rather than a software issue.

LG G2 - Luminosity - problem or not ?

Hi Everyone,
First I apologyze, I am not native english so my english is not very good.
So I have a G2 that is is working very correctly (802). It is working very well but I am really wondering something about the luminosity.
Since the loolipop update (I do not know if I had this before), I have a very thin line of luminosity at the top of the G2. It is especially visible in the parameters section, in the task manager or when you want to adjust sound and luminosity. It is very visible on many utube videos.
I cannot post a picture as I am a new user, but do you think it is a bug or a problem ?
Hey
Do you mean backlight bleeding?
After my G2 got the LP update I too noticed a fine illuminated line on top of the screen causing a horizontal gradient. After a short research I found out that this is also present in KK, but due to KK style of the notification bar hardly to see. So it's a hardware issue.
So I went to the local authorised repair shop of LG and showed it via vertical screenshots shown in landscape mode to the worker there. Without any discussion the phone was taken for warranty repair. This is about 12 days ago, still waiting.
BTW, a friend of mine also has a G2 without any bleeding on top.
Hi,
Thanks to have answered. Yes, it is backlight bleeding. I will go to a repair center.
Thks

New Phone app v6.0

Yesterday I installed new Dev Preview version of Nougat 7.1 on my Nexus 6P, through OTA. After this upgrade, I had updates for several apps, including the default Phone app, that had some major UI changes.
However, one weird and uncomfortable thing I noticed... That when I receive a call, I have the Phone screen popping up showing 2 round red and green buttons for rejecting/answering. It's enough to touch one of them for the action to carry on. There is no protection like sliding left/right to reject/answer a call, although I've been reading that you normally would slide up to answer and slide down to reject (as opposed to the former left/right). This situation occurs even when the phone is off and, thus, the lockscreen is enabled, which makes accidental answering very likely if the phone is, for instance, in the pocket.
Anyone else having this issue? Some recommended fix?
Thanks!
There is a thread for 7.1!

Alternative to stock phone answering theme

Hello!
I have a more or less massiv problem with my Mi A1. It's working good, no issues or something but there is a big problem, in my case, with the answering calls screen at android one. I had i many times that the phone was automatically cancelling the incoming calls because when i want to put the phone out of my pants it swipes down inside my pants.
So my question is, is there any chance to change the swipe from up and down to left and right or anything else?
I also will do a root incl. new alternative rom like lineageos or something if it is nessesary!
Maybe there is an option that the light sensor will detect if it's outside the bag?
Thanks in advance!
